Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

Hey guys, came here for your help.

So I was playing a game in early 2000's. The game was dark, grim. First person. It was set in somewhat fantasy medieval. Mostly you fight blue or purple (can't remember which) big spiders. From weapon inventory I remember sorta like Arabian sword, with which you can slash enemies and spiders, and also a unique weapon - whip/lasso, which you also can use to transport yourself by hooking it up on small rings (something similar was in Half-Life Opposing Force with barnacle weapon).
That is all I remember unfortunately. Anyone have any ideas?

It has an arabian-like sword, it has a whip (Not 100% sure about the grappling hook ability), it has spider like enemies (4 legs instead of 8 though) and a sorta medieval(-ish) setting.

Hello, Im searching for an old p.c. Text Game ,(in d.o.s.)5 -1/4 floopy disc, I can recall it begininig in a Tent,in the desert, with a treasure chest, a shovel,and sand. outside an airplane.and thats all i remember.Any help?

- the game is about human fighting for their lifes from insects.
- the main character is a humanoid lion (yez. head of lion with human body.)
- enemies are insects/monsters and alot of them (you can kill around 2000 insects each story line)
- background is traditional life in japan.
- the first mission is escort civilian (human) to safety place and guard them from insect monsters
- our movement is fast. based on swords we're using.
- gameplay is similiar to dynaaty warrior,

Hi i'm looking for an old game i played on a demo disc of from pc gamer (i think).
What i remember is that you played as a small devil who had a staff that you could use to place some black powder on the ground that could be lit on fire, there was also a part where there was a big christmas shoe/sock with presents that the devil climbed into.

I'm looking for a game with turn based fighting like final fantasy. You took over towns with armies of five or six creatures who could be ghosts, knights, skeletons and a bunch of other things. If you used the dark creatures you would receive bad karma. It was a cartoonish looking game from the 90's. I think is was either a pc or a nes game because we didn't have anything else. I'm leaning toward nes but I've looked over all the nes games I could find but never saw anything like it.

Take a look at the "Heroes of Might and Magic" series. Maybe the first or second game.
I remember the morale of your humanoid troops going down if you mixed them with undead creatures.

There's also an obscure spin-off, Heroes Chronicles. But you might be looking for King's Bounty (1990), it's the game that HoMM is based on.

Hi there, im trying to find this PS2 game so far, my head is exploding.. so:


The game starts in a land where you can choose where you go through some portals.
After you enter one, you go in a dungeon.
By now everything is right..
The strage thing of the game is that after reaching the first boss battle the game ends and you have to restart from the beginning.
I can say that the cover have a White haired girl and the gameplay is The normal dungeon crawler... help me xD

Hello everyone, been searching around for a long while now, and I'm still unable to find this game.

It's a game I used to rent around 18 years ago in our library, It was for windows as I was able to play it on an old Compact PC, so either Windows 95, or 98.

OK here goes.

I'd define the game as being a reverse tug of war strategy game.

You'll have around 6 horizontal lanes where you wind up "Wind up toys" to push across the lane, the longer you wound them, the further and more power they'd go, and the opponent would do the same, and the goal of the game was to push as many wind up toys to your opposite side, either by pushing against his wind up toys, or maybe go a different lane and rush him down.

The Toys itself I don't remember much about, I remember there being a hand figure which laughed when you madde it run and was really fast, but quite weak, and another toy which was pretty much a bulldozer which would be very slow but very powerful.

The maps were also different, having a plain map with no obstacles, and others with Ice physics and cracking ice holes which if you had too weighty toys on it they'd fall through, and one with teleporters around.

I really hope you guys can help me figure this out ^^

Hi I don't know if anyone is still on here but I really want to know what this one game was okay let me tell you the details.it was on the original Xbox and I used to play it all the time as a kid, although I only had the demo. I remember it was similar to Heroes of Might and Magic in a way as there were 2 heroes 1 on each side and there were monsters you controlled. I really only remember the enemy summoned a lot of dinosaurs and I summoned giants I swear they were called Tessa Giants and you could summon an ultimate creature that was a giant Gorilla and it was really strong and it would destroy everything.

Well if anyone is still here please give me some info as to what this game is BTW IT IS NOT primal 2 it's something completely different anyway please help me i have been searching for years and cannot find it please help me.

Alright, here's a tricky one. I've searched everywhere and can't find it.

It was an old 3D tech demo, maybe from the 3DFX Voodoo days or even before. I'm thinking very early 2000s.

Anyway, it was 1st person 3D, and you explored a strange island with not much vegetation, but there were local alien things, almost looked like the guy from Oddworld. They had little huts and villages (not more than a few tents), and you could enter some caves.

I really want to find this. It seemed to me it was the coolest 3D environment to explore at the time. There wasn't really anything to do in it, but I made little quests for my sister to play (like find the well behind the hut, or things like that).

I also have the feeling that this tech demo was paired with some other tech demo (like on the same CD or something) that was also pretty cool, but I have no idea what that other one was.

And yes, I've searched all the old NVIDIA demos on their site. It wasn't any of them.

Hi all, i am searching for ps1 game that was on demo cd. I know there are over 100 demo cds so its hard to find. Now to the game:
It was a 2D shooter and if you want to compare it to a similiar game it would be like geometry wars.
You control a ship that shoots in the direction according to the botton on the controller for example:
X for down, ∆ for up.
It was a very simple game with simple enemies and sometimes bosses.
It would go on until you die.
I dont know if it has an ending.

I'm hoping someone can help me out with this, it's been bugging me for weeks and I still can't find it.
I remember playing a game on my PC (CD-ROM) around the early 2000's although I could be way off. It was a third person game with a medieval/fantasy theme involving magic and the like and the graphics reminded me of Lego for some reason (could have been a kids game). The gameplay also reminded me of Zelda OoT but I'm not sure why.

This is all the info I can remember at the moment so any help would be much appreciated.

My game is an FPS game, which I played on PC. Its newer then Doom, Duke Nukem and Its not an early CoD or Battlefield and probably not wolfenstein. I played this game, when I was like 10-12 and I am nearly 19 now. This game had quite good graphics for Its time or maybe just mind plays with me. I remember that my main weapon was an m16 with a grenade launcher and I remember red hat enemies ( this game you didnt kill nazies but probably russians ) and there were zip lines too and in that time most fps games if any didnt have ziplines. I remember a scene where after you take an f16 and escape from an enemy base, theres a cut scene where 2 enemy f16 shows up and they shoot you down and then the next map starts.

I have been racking my brain for the longest while trying to remember this...

The game was on PC, similar to RTS games like Heroes of Might and Magic or Starcraft, a sci-fi setting. I have a vague recollection of the opening cutscene for the game being aliens, tentacle-y ones and more, congregating around a campfire.

I think the aim of the game was to land on hostile territory and exterminate your way through to the mission goal, it had a campaign storyline with different missions depending on the forces you chose?

Hey guys,

So the game that i want is an adventure 2D game where you can play as a mage or a warrior. The characters both have beards and you sped the game in dungeons and it was most probably made during 2000s. That is all that i can remember really, some information might not exactly be true like being able to choose who you want to play as, but there definitely were two bearded characters at the main menu of the game.
