I remember playing this pretty cool Chess game on PC as a kid, I just forgot the name of it.
What I remember is the following

- It was an old PC game like it might've come out in the 90s or very early 2000s.
- It was narrated by some famous chess champion.
- Said narrator will teach you to play the game by using cartoons to describe the pieces like the king was the president that had to be protected from being assassinated.
- On top of letting you play Chess, you can add music to it and even play it with different kinds of skins like with superheroes or what may have been a scifi/gladiator skin or something
- It also had a few minigames based on chess like theres one called Touchdown where you have to get pawns to the end of the board.
- It also showcased popular chess matches narrated by said chess champion mentioned above.

Anyone know the name of it, I'm pretty sure it's not Chessmaster.

Hi guys, so i joined the forums to digout two ancient flash games that i used to play all the time back in the day, but somehow i forgot the name of them and i have been wondering ever since.

The first game is basically a kid that stands behind a big person. The kid is only trying to do something harmful or harmless to the big guy inorder to go next in the line infront of a resturant or a cafeteria. the game gives the player many stuff and weapons to try out on the big guy such as nails, itching powder and such. all of those stuff and weapons usually backfire on the kid and harms him and not the big guy. the outro of the flash game had a cartoonish wooden plank with words on it.

The Second flash game is of basically a boring office day with workers just doing their work. the player can choose actions that can change the office into something fun like a disco night club, a paperplane fight and other funny things that can be turned into.

These are the two of many games that i would love to play again..

I will be extremely thankful to whoever got the strongest memory around this forum that can remember the names of those two games i mentioned.
Has anyone been able to indentify these two games? it has been like a couple of days and no answer has come up.

Hello all,

I have been looking for this game FOREVER and can't remember any complex details about the game play. It was a children's pc game, probably from 95 or around then. The game was a cartoon from what I remember. I think the title may have had the word "playhouse" in it (search results turn up Maisy's playhouse but that isn't it). There were two mice, a boy and a girl, I feel like when you entered the game they would sing a song along the lines of "Let's go play in the playhouse, we're gonna have some fun"..I feel like the girl mouse's name was Ginger. I remember there being a game where you would adjust the hands of a clock and it would show what you would do at that time of the day. Another was a white game board and you would like toss dice and move however many spaces the dice implied. There were a couple of different little games like this you could play but none I can solidly remember. I have a feeling the jewel case was yellow and maybe red with the two mice on it. Help would be SO GREATLY Appreciated!
The Playroom!

Sorry this is old as dirt, but I was trying to find the same game for the longest time myself.

I remember playing this game around 2004 at my friend's place on the PS1. It was this side scrolling Japanese Mecha game where you were controlling a Mech and had to fight various enemies. There were various mechs you could unlock to supplement your main one which was I think the Unicorn or something, the one I can recall was the Lion one. Each of the Mechs had a special ability and if I'm not wrong the Unicorn one was a drill like attack called "Unicorn Tornado". Tried Google, didn't work and found this place so decided to give it a shot eh?

It might be one of the games based on Zoids, but the only two for PS1 seem to be strategy games. The ones for other systems vary a lot from game to game, though.

I hope someone knows this game. I made this account only to find this game. Its for PC and its an FPS game. You start in a boat, storming a beach. I think its D-Day. Then somehow you appear on an army base(I really don't remember how. Maybe you die and its like before it all happened). I am sorry I don't remember anything because it was a really long time since I played it.
D-Day landings have been featured in a few video games. In that specific order, directly starting with the landing
then skipping back in time, I'd say it's "Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault" (2004),
which starts with a D-Day landing at the Tarawa Atoll (JPN) before throwing you back into boot camp for intro and tutorial.

I think this was a Links game because the boy had a fishing hole and there were cave systems. You got to win buildings and build a town, then you left that town for the next section. There was a ship with 5 or 6 levels. Sorry I can't remember more. Please help me with the name.

Hello!

I remember a game i played a long time ago on the school computers. You were this "pinball ball" you know a greyich ball and you went through different maps and the goal was obviously to reach to the goal but you had to watch out so you did not fall of. The only thing i remember really is that it's made somewhere between 2000 - 2006 maybe and that the game was really simply made, not so many colors etc and that one of the last maps were a castle of some kind. I really need to find this game, thank you.

Looking for a game, for Windows 2000. It featured a book, many puzzles, a burned page with a dragon flying behind it. Supposedly it had many animated bugs and what not, crawling around. The game also featured a collection system for items? Apparently sort of like "I Spy" and "Myst" but not them as far as we can tell.

There's an old PC game my family and I used to play. It was similar to Pokemon, i remember it was a shareware and it was on the same demo disc as "Beavis and Butt-head in virtual stupidity", gameplay is where you capture monsters and train them. The monsters were quite strange with equally strange names. I believe there was a rabbit , a jack-in-the-box, a cactus, a carrot, some sort of algae... the list goes on but my memory is failing me (hence my turn to this thread). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys!! I'm new here. There was a game i've played when i was a kid (circa 1999-2001) on my Windows 98 PC, that left a significant mark in my mind. My dad broke the CD at the time and threw it away unfortunately. It was a cool rally game. I searched everywhere on the web for the past 2 months with no results until i saw this site where i, hopefully, can retrieve that game from the past. All i remember is that there was a Subaru impreza 22b, the cockpit view, a track with the sunset in the background. At first i thought it was International Rally Championship but i also remember that there was a timer in the middle and when reached zero, it said "time's up" of course and i don't remember the bar at the top. The shape of the car was the same by the way, pixel were easily seen. Please help me finding this game! Thank you

If you're certain about the car, maybe the game is amongst the ones listed here.

Hello, I am trying to remember an old game. Maybe between 1998-2002. I remember you had 4 active players (maybe 3), one of them was a white robot and the other 3 where humans, you where some sort of task force investigating what happened inside some big corporation facilities. It was a 3rd person futuristic shooter. I remember levels kept going downwards into research labs and you started unsolving the mystery until you find a huge big boss.

Hi I was playing a game in 2003-4-5 very close to Re-volt game with a cars racing each other and going through question mark boxes with trick and cheats you can aply to the other drivers, like spikes, oil licks, bombs, laser beams and repairing keys. Its something like London driver, Revolt, burnout but it is not. Its very simple and funny game. You can split the screen and play again each other. Please, if you remember the name of the game HELP ME to find it - Thank you

Hey, Im trying to remember an old game, maybe created around 2000 for the PC. All I can remember is that it was some kind of dark rpg. You would start off in a prison cell and you picked up a chair or stool and used one of its legs as the first weapon. Also in the bread was the Key to leave the cell. Outside was a guard and the whole game was viewed from the top, not straight but in an angle. the graphics were detailed for the time.

pls help me out, i cant sleep over here.

That would be Project Eden by Core Design Ltd. Always wanted to see what would happen if four people tried a blind LP of that game...
