Civilization??
Nah that's not it, thanks for trying though.

Does anyone else know? I played it in the late 90's / early 2,000.
It's a war turn-based PC game. You would build your army, units would take time to build so you would turn to the next day. With your army you would defend you castle or attack other castles (AI - NOT multilayer). The aim of the game was to take control of all the land. Game was set in the past, don't know what year (it had cannon's though). When attacking another castle you could control the troops from a sky point of view. Telling them where to go and how to attack.

Any help would be loved :)
Would Age of Empires be too obvious a guess? Maybe a Total War game?

Could be Rise of Nations, but I think that lets you develop your technology up to and beyond modern day.

There was a WRPG I played on a demo disc in the very early 2000s, maybe even late '90s. It was isometric and controlled via point 'n' click. I remember that you started outside of these castle walls and then were thrown into a jail cell where you could talk to the guard. I think he was drunk, or you could convince him to drink. I think it was possible to convince him to let you out, too. Anyway, eventually you see somebody break in and kill all the guards at the entrance. You're let out of your cell and have to get away.

That's all I remember. I don't know if that was the start of the game, or if that's just where the demo started. If it helps, it was on a PC Gamer UK demo disc alongside SWAT 3.

There is a game I used to play as a kid and I can not remember for anything.. All I can remember is that there was a treehouse and i believe it had a treasure chest in it and there was multiple buildings you can go in and you could paint them and it makes like a sound effect while painting, It sounds corny but as a kid it was sooo fun and if i can't remember it will drive me nuts. There was all types of activities you could do...

There's also another game I remember that you took care of your pets and could take them on walks and feed and water them, play with them, etc.. but i know there are alot of games like that.

I am pretty sure they were both on the PC, but cannot remember if they required a CD-rom or not..

PLEASE HELP! thank youuuuu!

There was a game I used to play. It was a PC game in EGA (or maybe VGA) graphic and it purpose was to build a small patch of train tracks on a green field for several multi-colored (magenta, yellow, blue, green, red, etc) trains in a such way that all of them could travel without a catastrophe. I don't think it was a tycoon simulator because there were no competitors. It was more like a puzzle than a simulator of any kind. The name was something along the lines of "Trains", "Trails" or "Railroads" I think.
Anybody remembers this? I can't even find screenshots and I think the game was really small, less than a floppy.

Hey guys. A friend of mine has been searching for a game she used to play as a kid (mid 90's maybe) for a long time. She describes it as a learning game for PC and the only level she can remember is a diner level run by animals that tests your math skills. When you get the order wrong an animal comes down and eats the order. She's pretty sure the host of the game was a gorilla. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hey. I am trying to figure out the name of a old pc game I used to play. In the game you are a detective trying to figure out a murder mystery in a mansion. There are a number of rooms in the mansion. The easy levels have less rooms. There are more rooms as you advance levels. If you press the wrong clue, there is a sound of thunder which indicates you are incorrect. If you choose the correct clue, you will hear a ding. When you complete the level by clicking on the correct clues, it will show you the murderer's footprints which indicates what rooms he/she went in and how he/she killed the victim. The murder and victim character changes every level. This is all I can remember. Its been a long time since I played this game. Something reminded me of it so I wanted to play it. The only problem is that I can't remember the title of the game.

Please help. Thanks.

Hi guys, I just recently created this account after searching for almost 30 pages of this thread... I'm looking for an old, not-so-known game my sister just asked, I'll try to be as specific as I can...

- We played this game 11-12 years ago, so it must be between 95-2001
- It was a 3D third person adventure
- The main character was a man / guy / kid / boy with orange spikey hair
- If I don't remember, you have to fight some kind of aliens, or space creatures (not so sure about this though)
- You started on a beach, there were some people there, not too interactive, but i remember them
- According to my sister, the name of the game has the word "Star", but if your suggested games doesn't have it, it's ok, maybe we're wrong

Thanks in advance!
Bumping this one, hoping to get some help, please?
Bumping again, I'm losing hopes, it was some kind of demo, some indie game, you know, one of those which comes in a "30 games in 1" disc

I remember a game i played, im pretty sure it was a PS1 game. it involved 2 teams. one team was blue and one team was red. The teams consisted of multiple units of tanks, planes and other things ad the objective was to get to destroy the enemy base or something. it was "futuristic" for that time i guess. i think the units were robots too, or unmanned i should say. thanks in advance to the person who remembers this game and names it for me. been trying to remember for over a year now :p at random times.

Hi there.
I have 3 games floating around my head that I would be delighted to know the names of.

1) All I remember is the very beginning of the game. You choose between the male or female soldier/warrior, and proceed to the first area which is just a large hallway of a castle. I can remember it being difficult for me to find the first room I had to go to, because it was such a large hallway and there were doors along it. I also feel like I didn't understand why the game was named what it was, but that could have just been because I didn't ever get very far in it. I believe that it was for Playstation 1.

2) I remember being on a set of spiral stairs, descending actually. There was a little ghost girl in a white dress on the stairs that would attack me, unless I distracted her with a music box and slipped by her. I don't believe it was a Silent Hill game but if there's a particular one that someone thinks it was, I will check it out. I also believe this one was for Playstation 1.

3) The third was a more kiddish game, I think I played as a cat. I can only remember one level where I was down in the sewers. I remember the main character being really witty and funny - closest I've got is Sly Cooper but I'm not absolutely positive this was the game. Also believe this was for Playstation 1.

Thank you so much!
1. kinda sounds like golden axe
2. maybe alone in the dark? Was it like an adventure game?
3. no idea.
Ahh, neither were right. For #1, it was definitely a little more 3D than that. So maybe I've got the console wrong, maybe it was PS2, I'm not sure. For #2 I'm not certain that was it. I do believe it was a sort of adventure game.

I cannot remember the name of this game. It was for the PC and over 10 years ago. It was a top down like Diablo, It was set in the future I believe, and the character you played was a man in a red suit. There was shooting and puzzle solving and weapon upgrades. If you remember the name of this game by the small description, god bless you.

I've been searching for a while for an older game, I believe it was Japanese (which is why I can't find it) but translated into english. It was for playstation 2, and it is a turn based strategy RPG. The characters fought with "Ring Weapons", rings that became a weapon based on the soul of a wearer. The main playable character, or hero, fought with a large broadsword and had a case of amnesia. I remember it as being very wlel thought out, having many, multiple endings depending on which party members you were able to save, what you said to them, who you romanced, etc etc. If anyone could tell me what the name of this game is, I would much appreciate it.

I'm trying to remember an old PC game I played from when I was a kid, maybe mid 90s. The game played like a side scroller and you had to climb this massive stone city that was shaped like a stepped pyramid. I remember the lower levels being slummy and the upper levels were quite rich with some sort of palace on top. I want to say the premise was to assassinate someone up there, maybe royalty. I think the character was framed or something and the game may have started with breaking out of a dungeon of some sort. All of this was kind of fantasy medieval themed. Huge thanks to anyone who can remember this one!
