And another: DOS or very early windows game. Basically a platformer in which the main character was a woman in red. The early levels were a mountainside, as I recall.
I should probably also add that the game itself seemed anime-like, but I can't say for sure. It was much before I got into anime stuff, so yeah.oregairu said:There's this game I played about 8 years ago. So it's bassically like a typical "fighting game"- there are two characters fighting each other. If I can remember correctly, there aren't many characters in the game, but I can barely remember what they look like. If my memory isn't failing me... one of the male characters had a blonde hair, sort of emo-style. If I've grasped correctly, the main character is a girl, though I don't think the game had any storyline whatsoever. Could anyone tell me a few games who answer this very brief and useless description? I might actually find it. Thanks in advance.

Nope, wasn't HoMM. The battles were all done on the same map as the movement - basically you'd move a guy into another stack and they'd start fighting and losing 'numbers' that were the amount of units they had. And it was pretty fast.. you didn't actually specify what units to build, they just kinda popped out of the castle or the farms, if I recall correctly.ady_arcade said:Could be Heroes of Might and Magic ?Zeranamu said:I made an account just to ask this question. There's a.. I want to say it is an RTS game that I played a number of years ago. Nothing too fancy on the graphics side - top down view for the map, sprites for characters and such. Basically you had a castle that constantly generated units.. and you could designate those units to move to certain spots, to either block a tile or just stack up (more units meant stronger 'army', and as you got more in the stack the 'icon' for the army would change). The goal was to attack and destroy the castles of the other players. I think you were able to build farms and such with your army stacks, which would improve the number of units constantly generated at your castle, but I can't be too sure.
The only thing besides that that I can remember 100% for sure is one of the levels or 'scenarios' had everybody's castle as a like, fast food joint. And your soldiers were small fries, then became big fries when the stacks got big enough, and then a hamburger.
Anybody have any idea what game I'm talking about?
StrageyMonster said:There is this old game maybe about 8-10 years ago i used to play. It was allot like Age of Empires cause it was a overhead strategy game where you could build barracks and town halls but, it was monsters lizard men, orcs, stone giants, squid people, and a whole bunch of others like that. and you could go around and find stray monsters that would join you and build a second barracks that built their kind of monsters you could find items that would increase attack or even control on of your enemies opponents. i loved this game and i really hope someone can figure out what it is called i have been searching for it for 2 years.
The Game had several races and these are the ones i remember:
-Humanoid Lizards
-Humans
-Ogres
-Rock Trolls
-An Alien that looked alot like Zerg
-and there is one more but i cant really describe him
I have already found what it is, you should really try it anyone who reads this, it is called Seven Kingdoms II: The Fryhtan Wars.
Postal 2?Joebernardin said:I remember playing this game when I was younger, it was a fair few years ago, where you used to walk around a mall, boat and town killing loads of innocent people for no particular reason. I remembered this game when watching Grown Ups the film the other day and saw the scene where the kids are playing a game which looked similar, but apparently it was from a movie. If anyone could help me I'd be really greatful!
Looks like Joust. [edit] Crap, I'm too late!iDarwinn said:Darwin van der Poll said:I'm looking for an old game i cant remember, i'm not sure if it was also on Windows but i played on the old Mac.
You are flying on stick? or an bird, cant remember but you have to fly over the top on the other birds and then you can kill them, each level gets harder and the birds are getting faster.
Not sure if they were looking like a bird, and i am also not sure if the enemies were also flying on a stick.
I think it was a Egyptian Theme. Like in some of temples or piramydes that's what it look like,
Can someone help me out?

If not Street Fighter, then one of the SNK games maybe? Art of Fighting? King of Fighters? One of the crossovers like Capcom vs SNK? Or a different franchise like Guilty Gear?oregairu said:There's this game I played about 8 years ago. Hmm... it doesn't ring a bell but three Megadrive games I can think of where you play as a wizard are Wiz n' Liz, Flink, and The Immortal. Could it be any of those?locutor238 said:I remember i used to play a game when i was just a kid. it was a sega mega drive game.
i remember the main character was some kind of wizard. I also remember there was a mansion in the first level and in the second one was in some kind of cave where giant spideres would appear.
there also was a face in the bottom screen (it appeared damaged as we were hit)
i believe it was a sega mega drive game...
i really want to play this game again but i just cant remember the name.. help please?

Mortal Kombat? lmaoStephen Haupt said:I need help remembering a arcade game from the late 80's to early 90's. It was a marital arts/ninja type game where you fought 1 on 1 and the people had different weapons. I remember one was a lady with a fan that threw knives out of it. Any thoughts? People have tried telling me King of Fighters but I do not recall the graphics being that good.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that easy. He specifically mentioned cars:Nate Harting said:Tron.
