PC game late 90's early 2000's. It was a farm game. It had terrible graphics and was from a birds eye view. You could buy cows and horses and sheep and keep them in barns. They would get pregnant and have babies. Also you could have fields and tractors. Your farm houses automatically upgraded as your farm got better. You would feed the animals by dropping in hay bales and troughs of water. Also tornados would randomly come through and kill off your animals. I seriously can not remember what it was called but it was the best game ever.

I think this game was a demo on the ORIGINAL Halo game.

It was multi-player and several "mini-games" that led to a final game to decide the winner. Here is what I can remember.

Mini-games:
You're running around a spiral and have to jump over obstacles.
You're in a ball-cage on a platform and you have to push your opponents off the platform.

Final:
You're all running around trying to pick things up and "score" them before your opponents.

That's about all I can remember, but it's been wrecking my brain for the past couple days! Any help appreciated!!

Thanks,
Mike

Ok, does anyone have any knowledge of an older PC game, around the 90's? The graphics were god-awful, the faces had little detail, and were essentially just polygons with vague facial features.

The opening scene of the game is of a car chase, at night. There's a girl who is chasing this guy in a desert, and they eventually end up in a junkyard of sorts. She gets shot in her boob, and dies; at this point, two of her buddies show up, and the game starts.

The gameplay itself is centered around you driving in the desert, shooting at other cars. Yet, I don't remember if you can get out of the car or not. The car I remember driving looked like an orange 1970's Camero.

There was a very distinct menu screen, in which you're sitting in a diner. There's a half-eaten slice of pizza, and some bullets on the table, and you're looking at a notepad which lists the menu options (menu options for the game, not the diner).

I played this game when I was a wee lad, and it, along with Nightmare Ned, Mechwarrior 3, and Jedi Knight, were essentially my childhood. But THIS is the only game I can't remember for the life of me.

Whatever help you can give me would be greatly appreciated, conjecture or otherwise.

I remember playing a game on my aunt's Apple in the mid-90's, but I'm not sure what it was or her computer model. I believe some, if not all, of it was in first person, it started in a dark parking garage with headlights coming at you, and a level or two later there was some octopus or something. I never made it past that creature, and it's always bugged me.

I also remember a PC game from early 2000's possibly that involved abducting farm animals and people. You played as a UFO in the upper part of the screen moving left and right trying to trap them in you're beam of green light. If I recall correctly, it came packaged with some other software my grandmother bought at the time.

Hi,

I'm searching for an old game (probably 90's) that I can't describe in detail. What I remember is mummies (or zombies) walking toward you with the arms bent forward, a graveyard, fireballs you're trying to stay away from, and two players (I'm not very sure but one of them might have sunglasses and they might be green frogs). By the way, it's not "Zombies ate my neighbors".

Thank you,

Oyunbulmaca
One of the Battletoads games?

Battlemaniacs ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mD4HtkomZpA )

Battletoads & Double Dragon ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMGmsCpy6tg )

Battletoads ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLxXmnqaJtw )
Unfortunately, none of these are the one I'm looking for but thank you very much. The mummies were walking slowly and stumblingly. And fireballs, I think they were coming out of houses or walls. I'm not sure about the frogs, they may be bugs. I really don't remember. And the name of the game I think it consists of "bug" (not sure about this either).
I found it:) I found the game at this site http://www.giantbomb.com. It's "BUG TOO!". Thank you for your help!

Hey guys! Still hoping for a hit on my shot-in-the-dark game request. I't was a PC game, most likely Win95 or Win98. It was a top-down shooter where you played as a tiny spaceship inside of cyberspace, like it's really just software. Lots of NPC ships you shot at and also viruses to shoot as as well. Occasionally your ship could get "infected." Super vague memory of the game, not as sharp a memory as that of Commander Keen and Jill of the Jungle, but still a super fun game and it's been bugging me for a few weeks now. Thanks for any help guys!

Second one could be OttoMatic, was bundles whit the Apple eMac.

And the first on could maybe be "Another World"

At least it's a wild guess in the round :D

Okay, I'm searching for an Indie game I played a while back and can't seem to remember the name.
Here is what I remember of it :

-It is a 2D PC indie game where you have to defend a house from a zombie attack, the view is lateral (you see the house as truncated and move the character from right to left and vice versa, as opposed to top down)

-The protagonist is a woman, but I am not certain on that point.

-You have a significant prep-time allowing to place trap, unlock door, barricade other, and gather weapons.

-The goal of the game is to survive the longest time possible until the army swoop in to save you (at least in the normal mode, I remember other modes)

-You gradually unlock weapons, new playing mode, and new zombies type as you get better scores.

-There is a lot of way to organize your defense and to use the various object at your disposition, and there is a lot of trial and error in this game to find the best strategies

-I remember that there is a way to jury-rig the oven in the kitchen to blow it up when zombies come in, as well as other trap of the same kind.

-There is a shotgun in the second floor of the house, at the left end, next to the corpse of someone who shot it's brain out, but the room is locked.

-Being bitten by a zombie but not killed outright infect you, meaning that in a limited amount of time, you''l die no matter what (I don't remember how long you have but it must be around a minutes or two). You can find antibiotics or something like that in the bathroom to stave off the infection a little while longer.

-The game is extremely hard and you can die fairly easily even against only one zombie.

It's about all I can say about the game, which is already a lot, but I just can't seem to find it and I just can't remember the name.

Edit : I also remember that it is somewhat an homage to one of the Romero zombie trilogy movies, but I can't remember which one either

Nope that is not the game. At the start of the game the ship crash lands somewhere and a robot or two are what's left. They go into a nearby village and eventually to a bar, saloon, or a distillery. The party fights at the back part of the place. Sorry I will try to remember more. I think the robot or mech is yellow.

i need help finding this game, i have found nothing on the internet at all. it starts off your in a filthy apartment, its a point and click type game, you play as a character with spiky (red?) hair and sunglasses, i believe he was wearing no shirt. you cant leave your apartment because a guard is at your door, and you end up climbing out through the window onto the empty streets. i remember in the apartment you have to try and make coffee, and i kept trying to do it with white paint for some reason. also there was something about clicking his abs that was important kind of option thing for the game. the guard kept telling you to turn of the tv. it has to be between 98 and 2001. help please haha
