I think it was a PS2 game (might be PS1), not sure if exclusive. You had some kind of electric skateboard (i think) and you could take down helicopters with it and stuff. It had some kind of mission with a black car. Sounds really vague, but this is all i know.
I haven't played the game myself, but one "Electric Skateboard" game i know of is Airblade (PS2) ( http://cdn4.spong.com/screen-shot/a/i/airblade52399/_-AirBlade-PS2-_.jpg )

(For PS1 there is Streak Hoverboard Racing, but i have no memories of taking down helicopters in it.)
Airblade it is! Thanks! I've been looking for that for so long!

Ok so,here's how it goes. I used to play it when i was a little kid,it was one of the many games i had on an old PC.
It was about a boy who got his girlfriend(?) kidnapped by some weird guys,i don;t remember who they were. The gameplay was mostly playing as the boy. You go through various levels,in which you have to collect fruit(?) to open a teleport-like door. Then, after passing the last level, you fight the kidnapper. He was in a saucer of some sort, but i don't remember how the battle went. You could also use passwords to skip to certain levels. I used to call this game "The game about the boy" because i was no good in English at that time. Any help appreciated, and if you find something similar, please reply with a link to a gameplay video so i can see if it's the one.

After looking for as long as I could bare, I could not find the game I was looking for in this thread.
The game, I remember being from the 90's and was a RTS. I cant remember much, but the live acting of a news anchor and a co anchor, when there was this biomass (similar to creep from starcraft) had apparently entered the studio, and converted one of the co anchors into a cyborg of some sort that then began to attack (off screen) the anchor.

Was playing sc2 and had a bout of dejavu much akin to Lemony Snicket going over dejavu, and then repeating that section later on >.<

May the great escapist consensus provide!

P.S. I also believe this was a PC title, but may have been an N64 title as well.

Hey dudes, i'm trying to find an old PC game that i used to play when i was a kid.The game was an arena battle system, it's a 3D Game and you had to choose between 3 or 4(i guess) different races(boar-headed-dudes , humans, ogres ...). It is a bloody game, and you can play it with some Bots, i don't remember if it had a multiplayer system(probably not), and the game is played in Third Person.
That's basically all i know about it.

hey all. new here. Saw this thread. I've been looking for a game for a long time. I was really really young all I know is it was a PC game and it was before XP. Can't remember if it was WIndows 3.1 or 95 or DOS or what but definitely an oldie. The game, I don't remember much only at the time I loved playing it! Was addictive. Here's all I remember:
- first person
- a point and click /find and search game
- I THINK, I could be way off, that the main characters name was Christian
- I remember, you were walking down a path in the forest and there were trees on both sides. Now and again you would come to a fork where you got to choose which path you wanted to go down.
- I remember there was one area by a river and you were basically searching for clues
- Another scene was a school house
- I think the game, you were looking for clues, maybe something to do with a murder or disappearance>?
- Seemed like it was sort of a 'dark' themed game.

Another game on ps1 or pc. You were a soldier, killing other soldier. There was a flamethrower with 3 levels of it? Red Green and Blue as the strongest fire?
Can't remember much.
BUMP

any thoughts? it's driving me crazy!!
My first thought on this one was Alien 3 on the SNES - but this wasn't ported to the PSX or the PC. Emulators, perhaps?

Was this a side-scroller Gryzor/Contra/Probotector style thing or a top down/Isometric view Commando/Time Soldiers style affair?
no, it wasn't anything on nes/snes or any emulators. it had to do something with the army, it may even had the word "army" in the name of the game. you had a 3D view i think.

Hey all, I remember I used to play this game where I controlled a destroyer ship and dropped mines to destroy submarines below. (The game is not in black and white, full color)
The game's view is fixed on a side view (cross section) of the sea. It's a really fun game. Anyone know about it too?

I hope someone can help me out, I've been trying to find out the name of this game FOREVER!

The game was a point and click adventure/horror/mystery (myst and nancy drew, sorta) I got this game in December of 2000. It ran on a PC with an ME os I believe. I remember the game was very dark and started out with a voice over back story, you play as a woman driving in the rain to a friends house by a lake (or something to that regard), when the car crashes into the lake and you investigate the house. Some memorable moments included discovering the body of your friend in the garage, a hand held camera in the kitchen where your friend recorded herself discussing some experiment she was conducting, a phone on the table in the living room where you heard something creepy maybe your friends voice can't remember, a VHS tape in a tv upstairs that showed a first person POV video of someone running up the stairs and locking the door, and a talking face in the lake. As I said it was a point and click adventure/horror/mystery on pc probably came out in 2000 or late 1999. I thought it could have been a Nancy Drew game (could be, unlikely) but it seems from my memory way too dark for that, a dead body and all xD Any help would be appreciated, the game has been lost for years :/

Okay, there's a wizard, you have to find objects to use in other places. I remember Paris, a corner coffeshop, a maintenance guy working in a manhole. Beeswax, a goat, a wet cloth/towel, maybe playing crochet with a flamingo... That's about all I can remember. Lol! I hope someone can help. It's a PC game many years ago.

Hey guys, there was this old game I played on playstation one I believe. You were this white guy I think he had blonde hair? He was kinda buff looking I think? He had to kill aliens and I remember a specific scene where you were in this tunnel and you had to jump on these brown boxes. I can't remember much else because I was pretty little when I played it. I want to say the game started with an R. Thanks!!!

Besides the Wizard part, the rest sounds like one of the Broken Sword games.

i remember playing a game for PC where you control some ship or something and you move from side to side to hit a ball that is bouncing around to prevent it from getting past the ship. the point is to break walls and stuff and the ball can get power ups and things like that. But i cannot remember that that game is called.

There was an old arcade game that I remember from back in... '82? '83? '84? Back when my Mom and Dad owned a restaurant. It had some sort of Egyptian theme, I think, but I'll be darned if I can actually remember what the game was.

EDIT: Also, I don't think it was Tutankham. Those screens don't look like what I remember... but I was only like three or four. :p
