Hey I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure If I'm posting this correctly and am sorry if I'm not. If I am posting this incorrectly could you guys please show me the correct place where I should post? Anyways, I'm trying to remember the name of the old videogame that I use to play. It was an old 3D adventure castle game. I'm not exactly sure when this game came out but I use to play it around 1997-2001 (to give an idea of when it came out). I can basically remember the beginning of the game. When you started the game it gave you an option of choosing through a variety of items (You could only choose a limited amount (I think because of a money system)). So when you began it started inside a castle like place where you had 3 or 4 paths. Only one of the paths took you somewhere. The path lead to a door which had a guard dressed in armor that was patrolling the area whom you had to get passed using the weapons you picked. Once you got passed him it lead you into this main area type place where there was a tower you could enter to the right. In this tower there was three floors and and elevator that took you up them. The thing that I remember the most is on the third floor there was a book (of inventions I) that if you read and closed a monster would pop out from behind you. The monster looked somewhat like a redead(from Oot)/mummy type corpse that would attack you until you died. Here's a diagram I drew of how that place looked http://imgur.com/J1TWOXY (might not be exact its been a while) and the tower where the monster came out of. Also, I played this game back when I used to live in Turkey, not sure if that will make a difference. If you have any idea please post it I've been trying to remember the name of this game for literally two years!

Again sorry If I posted this incorrectly!

K so I've been trying to find this for years and I found this thread and I doubt it'll help but here goes.

It's an old game for windows 95 or 98 or something. It worked without a disk and it came on a used computer so it might have been downloaded from the internet, but we didn't have internet. It was a Christmas themed platformer and you played as a snowman and shot snowballs at enemies. The first level was random snowiness with snowman bad guys. Another level was inside a pyramid or something and there was a yellow snowman I don't think you could kill. Another level was in a city at night and you'd ride elevators to the tops of buildings. Another level was on a jungle island. halp

I don't know if I responded to this post correctly but this is in response to Gablum on page 82 about a super old snomwman game for pc from the early 90s.

I know exactly what game you are talking about. The only additional thing that I can remember is that the last level has a beach or island background and when you beat the game the snowman starts moving diagonally around the screen bouncing off the walls and changing color.

If anyone knows the name of this game or has any other info please help!!!

Sounds like Thief 2: The Metal Age. The level with the Necromancer's Tower and the book is fairly late in the game, but I think it also was used as the demo level.

Hi, I really hope someone can help me with this game. I remember one of my parent's friend's daughter coming over and playing this game with me when I was around 5/6 so I don't remember all that much since it was her's.

It could have been on the N64 but I do remember it having a 3d kind of effect, much like ocarina of time for example but it was definitely not from the zelda series (I couldn't tell you how many times I've played OoT over the years so I know it couldn't have been that). I also remember there being some fighting sequence, like a tutorial for button combinations and there was a part when the character was surrounded by white lines, like he did magic or something. The best way I can describe the white lines is basically like a transmutation circle but surrounding the character. It was probably a strategy type game but I honestly have no idea.

I hope that makes sense to anyone, I wish I could explain more but my family moved and lost contact with the other girls family.

Thanks to anyone that knows!
It may be Quest 64
Oh my god I think this was the one! Thank you so much!

I'm trying to find a game where you collect pebbles on a pathway and in a forest. It's from the early 2000's and it's pretty girly. I think it also had fairies?

I've been trying to remember the name of a game all day. It's wasn't a video game, but a browser game, text based. You could choose from a few races I think, and would have to attack people to get money, but unless you had a high enough spies score, or intelligence, or w.e it was you couldn't see enemies defense / attack stats. You could do reconnaissance, send spies in, buy fortifications, buy weapons to equip troops you hire with, and the end goal was to get as high a rank as possible. You could get boiling oil and stuff as defenses, if I remember right Hand of God was either the weapon or defense that all the highest ranks had. Can anyone remember what this website / game was?

EDIT: Finally answered my own question, it was Kings of Chaos at kingsofchaos.com

Hey, guys! I have two games that I'm wondering about.

This first game is a bit easy to guess since I'm sure it's very known but I just don't know what it is. I remember playing this when arcadepod had a gameboy color emulator straight from the website. I know I had to tame monsters and carry them on my team. I face other monsters and then some of them I think asks to join me. I can either say yes or no. I remember that I can fuse two monsters together as well. I remember this part from the story as well. My Uncle or Grandfather was sick and I had to go find a antidote for his sickness. That's about all I remember.

Now this game is a bit hard. I don't remember much, and I REALLY want to play this one again. Hopefully you guys have any insight. This was a PC game and I bought it at one of the local 99 cent stores in New York. It was 3Dish. The object of the game is that you had a group of people with powers (hopefully) and equipment on this planet in space (I think.) Had a really futuristic theme to it. I think I remember it was an overhead game. I also remember some of the boses being really bigger than my characters. It had some terrian and some objectives. I remember the music being really futuristic. I remember the group I controlled had I guess the same suit on but different colors. Hopefully you guys can give me some insight on this game.
1#: Dragon Warrior Monsters? ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Warrior_Monsters )

2#: what year did you play it?
Yup!! That's it, thank you so much!

And for the second one, uhm 2003 - 2007 I think. Hope that gives you a little bit more information!

Okay, made an account for this:

The game I'm looking for is an old game for I think the PS1 but I can't remember exactly. All I remember is this:
The intro of the game (or at least one of the cutscenes) you see some evil dude who has all your best friends tied up. They beg for help and then a giant destroyed robot falls on top of them, crushing them. Your character is a little kid who when running away from robots, finds and pilots a mecha (or Gundam or whatever you want to call it). So its a giant robot game where you can fly around and fight other robots. I remember the first enemies of the game were robots with blades as arms. I've been racking my brain for a while now so i hope one of you guys knows the name! Not even google helped out...

Hi guys,

I need your help :)
I played an old SNES game as I was a kid, but I can't remember it's name. I visited numerous pages, viewed "top 100 SNES games" on Youtube to no avail. I also googled for "underestimated SNES games", but still couldn't find it.

The problem is that I can remember just fragments of that game and gameplay.
I remember that game, as it had female protagonist, that can jump to animals, so it can have some extra functions.
For example, she can dig ground as a mole in order to achieve some tasks, or can ride a snail (a think it was a snail). Or fly as a bee.

It's kinda similar to Super Mario as it is "jump" genre game.

I also remember that this animal, if it is available (for her to jump on it) had a some sort of balloon on it's nose.

Thank you :)

Zone of the Enders, perhaps?

In the game, we're controlling like a command tank with a spinning radar. We can summon our troops such as tanks, infantries, and choppers to attack enemies. The command tank that we controlled can absorb enemy troops and add it to the stocks of troops that we can summon.

Are you sure this wasn't Little Nemo: The Dream Master for the NES?

This sounds very much like Little Nemo: The Dream Master, as z3tzilla says.

Alrighty, I'm looking for a game, anywhere probably between the nes to genesis/snes era. Old-school RPG game, and there's only two things I can remember about it right now:

One of the spells in the game was, I think, some sort of 'ancient magic' and had these heads/faces appear during the spell's animation, then did high damage.

The other is a maze you traverse, but shortly after entering you're chased by...something. A white cloudy thing...or spirit, or something. That's all I got.

Hope someone knows what I'm talking about!

Not really sure, but I'd guess it's either one of the Prince of Persia games, one of the God of War games, or Spartan Total Warrior.
