Hi! I'm also need help identifying a game:
It's not a game for kids. Had subtitles.
I remember the game having an eerie, sleepy, dreary theme about it.
It's a time-based game in that I can sleep in the game (to regain health or something) but time is limited because there is a curse (??) that is taking over the land. So I have to do something before that happens.
I have a friend with me @ the start of the game - a girl/woman. She is rude I think, lol.
I make friends as I do certain things; and we fight monsters (of varying difficulties) in the outside world or in buildings.
I think I may have entered other worlds???
The game looks like a GameBoyAdvance pokemon-type RPG game but i played it on the PC
The characters use (mild) foul language in the game - expletives; suggestive themes in the dialogue (as far as I can remember)
I remember as I slept (sleeping heals you but time passes) and the days went by, the gameplay screen would get foggy/pale to show that the curse was getting stronger or something. Characters began to disappear, even my friends - so I couldn't talk to them/they couldn't help me fight.
I've forgotten the objective of the game - probably to break the curse/kill the evil force/demon causing the disappearance of people in the kingdom/world (??)
I think once, I wanted to sleep and the game asked me if I was sure I wanted to do that because the next day would be my last?

I remember that there was a jungle level and a level where you could read the name of the game i think. And i remember a level in a jungle i think where you can push an cage or something to get up to the next level. I asked at so many sites and i hope you can help me.

That could be a lot of FPS. Can you remember the guns or time it played in?

When you say jungle I would say "Soldier of Fortune 2" or "Battlefield 1942" But those from 2002 (so only 12 years old). Popular games from 1999 were "Half life: Couterstrike" and "Medal of Honor"

No it was not a FPS it was a platform game like the 2d Duke Nukem and you could shoot. I played it in the latest 90s and early 2000's. I think it didn't play in the past it it was the current time i think.

platform game, moving with arrow keys. at the beginning you arrive with red SUV, the player is a man with unlimited ammo gun. shooting is with Space Bar. there are enemies, I can remember old ladies/witches who are throwing knives. there are also doors, by entering them you are in the next level.

i know this may not be at all helpful, but i'll try my hardest to explain it. my memory is really foggy on this, but this game was on the playstation i believe, it had a female squirrel and she traveled by a hot air balloon. it may not be on the playstation, i cant remember at all, but i think she also wore a astronaut suit.

I just discovered this forum (after like 2 months of trying to remember my game) and I hope you can help me!

The only thing I remember is that the main character was a woman (dark hair) and in the very beginning there was some sort of talk about her sister and/or (not sure) father. I remember her talking to some guy. It's a fantasy game (role play kind of like Tomb Raider). But I think she fought with a sword (again, not sure!)
The last thing I remember is that there were these mini-kangaroo-like animals which turned red when you kicked them or threw them in water or smth and when they turned red they would get angry and attack you.
Oh and I think I played it around 1995-2005

Can anyone help me?

Heres a good i've been trying to figure out for years.

Your in this swat team (or some kind a team) and you all get separated and you try to find them.
its a 3rd person shooter game, you cant move and shot at the same time. you can take cover,
they were gonna make a sequel with running and shooting but they said you be overpower.
thats all i know sorry i couldnt find anymore details but GOOD LUCK trying to find it.

I think I may be at the point where I would be willing to reward someone if they can help me track down this game. I've spent hours scouring the internet, using all the search terms I can think of. I have LOTS of details, so I am hoping someone can help me out with this, and if you need more, I can give you more. I NEED THE NAME OF THIS GAME!

I've had trouble finding this one even after searching through lists of "all" games from the 90's.

This is a mac/pc game(not sure if it was available for both, but I played on mac between 1997-2003) that was an educational dinosaur/paleontology game. It started with getting inside this raptor robot that allowed you to travel around and collect bones and talk with scientists. The scientists were real people so the clips were actual video mixed in with the graphics. You spent the whole time I think with a control panel to travel to different locations.

It was all a bunch of puzzles. You would travel to the desert and have to use dynamite, shovels and then trowels and smaller instruments in the right order with certain sediments and rock layers to get to the fossils.There was a geologist who would help you with this and teach you about different types of rocks he was an older man. Then you would take the fossil to the lab and another scientist would give you tools to clean up the fossils. Then you would have to put together the skeleton like one of those sliding block puzzles.

Please help me find this game! I never got to finish it, and I can't find it anywhere. All the dinosaur games I've seen, or had suggested to me are missing that the game I used to play had video clips of real people/scientists who would help you solve the puzzle. And I can't remember the name of the raptor/robot you were inside of.

EDIT: It is not 3-D Dinosaur Adventure.

Unfortunately it's not Dinosaur Safari. It had nothing to do with photographing dinosaurs. The very first thing you did was wander inside this secret bunker and find a giant metal robot (a velociraptor I think) and this woman's voice came on and introduced the program the robot was a part of and then you could make the robot walk and hear it moving. You could then travel to different areas and meet the scientists.

He may or may not have a scarf and I remember that the scenario was pretty dark most of the time. It was either a hack 'n' slash or a third-person shooter. It was a point and click style adventure/survival game with some FMV elements targeted at a Middle School student level. It's plot was somewhere along the lines of protecting the environment. It also supported a first person perspective. That's all I can remember at the moment, I'll put some more thought into it to see if I can remember more.

Is the main character an animal of some kind? I've been looking for an old mid 90s/early 2000s cd rom game that may or may not involve a squirrel/chipmunk, in the game you clean up the beach and things I believe. It's hard to remember what happened in it sadly.

Also in this game there was a crab on the beach who got you to play "cups and balls" where he put something under a shell and there were two other empty shells which he moved around and you had to guess which shell had the prize. If anyone knows what game this was it would be amazing! There might have been a treehouse involved and a garden at some point. Memory is so fuzzy. There's this old Mac Game either from the late 1990s or early 2000s, which was basically killing waves of different insects (bees, beetles and the sort) - as added info, I remember that these bugs all left different colours of blood once killed. Also if I remember correctly it was not a 3D game.


Really bugging me that I can't remember! Pun intended haha

I remember some details from one game - but can't remember name of it:

1. GTA type
2. Game starts in older times but after half of the game - main character goes to jail. After some years he goes out and everything is changed - it's new age.
3. I remember that in the game was auto garages.(they was horrible - that's why i remember them). There was some missions, which required these garages
4. In the new ages map there was lots of trails. I think I remember them because there was hard mission with them.

Maybe someone know this game? Sorry for my cloudy english.

Sounds like Mafia II to me.
The main character goes to jail for a while, when he comes back everything's changed even the cars, new parts of the city, etc.

This topic really interested me because (well, otherwise I wouldn't be here), I'm looking for a game which I can't remember the name, I want to play that game so much again, that I created an account here just for that.

I remember very little of the game.
It was for the PlayStation 2.
I played it between 2003 and 2005.
If I'm not mistaken, it was fantasy-based.
You were a girl, in the middle of the forest (not a regular forest, a kind of... "futuristic" forest.) and you could skate around...
I'm pretty sure that wasn't the whole game, but a mini-game or something.
I also remember some of the start screen (at least I think it was the start screen) where it appears some letters, which are the name of the game, but I can only seem to remember the letters: SH
I'm not sure if it was in the start, middle, ending, I can't remember at all.

Would be great if you guys could help me.
