I have been getting crazy trying to remember this game. I even had a look at a tanking of more than 1000 games on the hope of remembering the name

If I do not remember wrong it is a pc game and it is set in medieval/phantasy context.
It is a third person game and I believe there were only melee weapons.
There is some sort of coup d'etat in the beginning of the game.
The main character which is some sort of guard, is then injured and cursed with a disease which slowly turns him into a monster. After you have been infected you are allowed to use some special moves but when you do so, your transformation in this darkness creature is accelerated. When transformation is complete you lose.
I remember playing it a long long time ago, so I think it's a game developed at some point in the 90s.

CAn somebody help??????????????

Thank you very much, this is really driving me nuts!

Could be Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9mVBQQi_YA

Hi,

First, thank you very much for the reply! Unfortunately it is not Soul Reaver, I am almost sure it's a pc game. Also, the main character is a city guard or something, which is poisoned during an attack to the city. After that he has this disease that will transform him into a monster eventually. He has to find a cure while at the same time fight someone who is trying to take over the city.

Thanks again though for trying!!! Anyone else has any idea what game I talking about??
I have been searching for this game as well and I'm glad to see I'm not the only person. The only other information I can give is that I remember the Intro cut scene mentioning the wilderness around the city where the monsters reside (the type of monster you will eventually turn into) and that despite the danger, people sometimes go out there to gather something, and this was one of the ways you got injured during an attack. Also, the city knows of the transformation and are hunting you down to kill you before you can transform. other then that, all I remember from the game was the beginning, a woman is letting you stay in her home cuz I believe she found you and brought you in, but before you progress, some city guards begin banging on the door, so you have to escape.

If there is anyone who can give a few ideas on what this game is, I'm sure both of us would greatly appreciate it.

(so far, its not Legacy of Kain, and it's not Nightmare Monsters 2)
bump?

I have a second game I want to remember.. This one was one of those old RPGs, the Legend of Kyrandia sort, only you were some sort of castaway prince(?). The first screen shows you and your wrecked ship
I actually found this one myself, apparently it's King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow.

I remember a late 90's PC game (I played it using windows 95). It was a 1st person RPG, where you were a knight-to-be.
You started the game at a farm or at a village, and there had a quest that you had to use get a bowl to use it in a cow, so the cow could feed.
After some quests, you could speak to some knights and choose the peace or war sides. The knights were like standing there and waiting for you.
It was not 0 and 1.
You cold be part bad, part good.
I remember another quest where you learned magic and had to burn a spider web.

No way I'll remember the name of that. Will someone help me?
I found it by mysel. The game's name is Dragon Lore: The Legend Begins. By the way, I found this huge list at wikipedia that can help a lot.

Ok guys, I've got a couple of games I can't remember/find at all, and I'm a stubborn searcher if you ask me! So there you go:

-In this first PC game, you are using a 3rd person back view, and you are a white guy dressed in black. You carry some sort of gun that shoots something, and your enemies are pretty much duck-like yellow things (I don't know if there are more).
You move using some kind of hoverboard, it's a platforming game, and you move between sections (which are suspended in the sky) using hot-air balloons, or something that kind... When you fall down, the guy screams in despair (oh, and it's not Pandemonium!);

-This second PC game is a futuristic one, you are using tanks or whatever, and you are trying to destroy other vehicles. I don't know if it's an arena shooter or else, I remember it being all colorful and technologic, and tanks;

-Third and last game. It's some sort of platformer, for SNES, and I vaguely remember it being scary (I was like 7), 'cause when you die, you become a skeleton or a skull. The protagonist looks like a giant lemming, and the first level is set in a forest or into some woods. It was colorful, and you are this thing escaping/being judged by things identical to you!

Thanks in advice!!!

Hi all. Great work you are doing here. I was really hoping that someone would be able to help me determine the name of this really old game.

-My information is unfortunately very limited.
-I most likely played it between 1994-1998. (Played it before the movie small soldiers came out). Most likely through DOS.
-I played it on a floppy disk.

There are two very specific parts of it I remember
-You had enemies that waddled around kinda like giant mutated frogs that couldnt hop.
-It was a sidescroller, in one zone you were in a forest type area
-> I remember collecting some kind of bottle in this zone and either transforming or getting some skills
-There was another zone where you were navigating tunnels in a little spherical submarine type thing under water I believe.

- I played it around the same time I played the lion king on floppy which was released in 1994.

And for what it is worth, the last time I attempted to run it, was around the time Harry Potter 1 came out on PS1(2001).

I would really like to find this game unfortunately I must have been between 3-5 years old when I played it, so if there are any old game connoisseurs, or someone with incredible memory, please help me out!

I'm not replying to this cuz I don't know the game, sorry. I'm new to this website so I don't know how things work and couldn't figure out how to post something new on this page. I remember playing a game about 6 years ago and there were two green slime balls that look like boogars and there was a boy and a girl and the girl wore a bow and they had hands that could be sticked somewhere so that they were thrown somewhere and there were obstacles and they could fall and die and there were things for them to collect along the way. Does anyone know this?

Can someone help me. The was an awesome game when there was a map. and you up against 3 computers. You started off with just men and you had to move them and then each round new ones will spawn at the spawn point. When you combine the men enough you get a support like thing(i think) then once you added more and more men to that it will finally upgrade to a tank. You had to destroy all other computers with your army.

I cant remember what the game was called but it was a 2d game i think with hexagon like spaces and just pictures of men and you selected them where to move with your mouse.

If someone knows what the game is called it would be a great help thx

I'm looking for an old game I used to play on the pc, I don't remember the name, but I remember everything about the game.
Anyways, the main thing of the game is that you try to collect all the gems on a pyramid or something like that, but you are constantly followed by death, if he catches you then you lose. I remember a very minor detail how death points as you and whispers "you..you...you....you" Please help!

Other than the coconut tree part it sounds like Dark Cloud.

I'm looking for a game that I thought was called "Gecko Farm" and it was just a really simple trading game where you buy and sell geckos and gecko food at different prices and build a gecko empire. I always thought it came with some old version of Windows but I can't find any trace of this game's existence anywhere. Does this sound familiar to anyone or am I going crazy?

Well you start off and you can travel in a castle and pick up a bunch of stuff like knives, food, misc items you can't use. There is also a joker and a king in the throne room I think.

There was like this series where you had to complete the previous game to continue onto the next one. Like the later ones, certain caves weren't opened up yet because ants or something hadn't dug it out yet until you literally completed an earlier version of the game.
Also in the earlier versions of the game, your food/health level or something slowly depleted and you had to find food all the time or you starved to death.

That is literally All I remember. But one thing was for sure, you had to play the previous games, like a linear timeline. so the later games with better graphics could actually be completed.

This was pre 2005 I think, it was a very early game, may be even before 2000 around 1990-1995 ish. I don't remember.
The first thing that comes to mind is Might and Magic IV and V - collectively kbown as "World of Xeen"

Hi i remember that i played a game in windows 95. In the intro there was a witch flying on her broom. That witch kidnapped and transformed kids in things like antique watch etc.i think that the kids was.in her castle. The game is a kind of puzzle like solve math problems, continue de music etc. If you solve the puzzle you win a "kid" or object. I never pass.the game.to.the end :( please.help meeeee thaks
I think this is just Jumpstart 4th Grade (the original 1996 version). (And yeah, all the Jumpstart Games are major marathons that involve tons of stamp/robot/key collecting.)

I likewise vaguely remember a children's educational/puzzle game for the PC from the late 90s/early 2000s. The opening prologue sequence is about the main character eating a meal, and upon either seeing something on TV or receiving an invitation, takes off to a reclusive mansion. I don't remember any of the actual games besides one where you had to match monogrammed napkins/towels to their right places. You could move around to different rooms of the house, and different rooms had different games.

Ok, I hope someone can help me. This game was a fantasy platformer, I played it on my old computer at around 2004 so it's fairly old, you played as a small blonde kid, the art style was pretty good, kind of like Gaia Online (if you have ever played that) I know nothing about the story, because it has been a long time since i played it, so this may be hard, but the game was also a 2 in 1 game with some random horse racing game.

If anyone has any idea what this game is called, I will forever be in your debt.

Unfortunately my memories of this game are almost non-existent, but I will describe it as best I can. It was an old PC game, rpg, where you spend most of the story line in a village, and all of the combat outside of the village. At the beginning of the game, you enter the village through the west gate. During the middle of the story line, using the south gate, you enter mines were a bunch of humans, not sure of bandits or a cult, are your biggest problem. I remember being very excited as a kid to get a sabre from these humans because it was one of the more powerful weapons. It was a third person pov in swords and magic type setting. I remember the final boss vaguely: he either came to the planet via portal or a meteor, or was trying to open a portal. I keep wanting to say that "harbinger of darkness" was either in the title or part of the plot, but when I use that as search criteria I only find Harbinger, which is not the game I'm looking for. Please help me.
