Hey good people. Back in high school in 2005 I used to "hack" the school computers passwords just to play age of empires: Conquerers Expansion and NFS: Hot pursuit. One day I found a pal of mine playing a 3d-ish game where there was the main character who was stuck in another man's house and the aim of the game was to use different objects in the rooms as distractions while you plot a way out without being seen. If seen you'd get beaten to pulp (cartoon type cloud animation of a beating going on)! I've literally spent two years looking for it now (That's how I found this awesome site). Please someone recognize it and let me know what it's called? I'm gonna lose it at this rate! :p

I'd like someone to refresh my memory, really want to check this game out again. I think it was on the SNES (thought it could have been on the Genesis, I don't remember) where it was a bit like Contra, but you were a bird soldier thing, and one of the bosses was a guy who turned into a Tiger, I think. I remember playing this a while ago, and really wanna play it again, but have no clue where to look! Someone help! D:

Hello, I made this account for the express purpose of posting in this thread. I dont have alot of info about the game im searching for but ill post what i remember and hopefuly something will come up. (ill also help where i can with others requests of corse). What i remember is that it was on pc and also first person (im 80% sure anyway) you start out in your fathers (or possably some other "father figure" (uncle/older brother/adoptive father ECT) house. You could attack him but he would jsut slaughter you. The first enemy you encounterd was some kind of wolf thing. At some point there was a Giant maneating plant you had to getpast farther into the game. I also vividly remember the game had a skeleton in a dungon type place that would jump out at you. Another big part of the game was that you could kil most anyone, however there was a certain location you could go and certain people you killed apeard there as statues. i dont remeber the overarching quest in the game but i was only like 10 at the time i used to watch my dad play italthough my dad still says to this day he deosnt realy know what he was supposed to do.We never figuerd out how to get past the plant or what the statues ment. Id like to go back and finesh it/figure out what it is but no one so far has been able to help me. My Father says we played it around 1994-1998 but he deosnt rember whene it came out. I appricate if anyone remembers this. I also remeber that it was realy obscure. No one else had it...

Okay, mine might be way out there because my memory on the game is extremely fuzzy, but I hope someone can help me out here.

I believe my game has portals (or maybe save states?) that looked like the stuff that is inside a stargate ( http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111213180223/stargate/images/b/bf/Stargate.JPG ). I believe the main character might have also had a space suit, and I think you could see it in the opening credits when you first load the game (you can see the portals(?) too I think. It showed him with his head with a black spacehoodie/headset on.

Sorry to be vague, but I hope someone gets what I am saying.
It wasn't maybe X-Wing Alliance, was it? The hyperspace sequences kind of look like an activated Stargate, and the opening cutscene did involve a guy in a headset. The description is just vague enough that I can see you being so young that that's what you remember about it.
No, it wasn't a flight simulator. I remember it being like an adventure(?) game, and you moved around in third person view. I sadly don't know how else to describe it =/

Thank you for trying though =)

Okay, all I can remember is a bit in an isometric game demo where there's some guy trapped in a pond because of a rival mage or something, and he sends you to destroy his spellbook to free him. I can actually remember part of what he said as well: "...but when I opened it, I found myself trapped in this pond. You must destroy my book of spells, or I will be forever doomed." Sorry if that's not much to go on but that's all I have and it's not enough for a Google search.

Ok guys I need help drastically, I have been killing myself of this for about 4 years. I have been searching for a game I used to love and play all the time roughly 10-12 years ago. I don't have much to go on. If my memories sever right the main character is a girl with brown hair and I believe her weapon was a boomerang, your party does grow as the game goes on. I do remember one section of the plot, you go to a village at some point and all the villagers are turned to stone, also I believe the last boss is some sort of big master computer or something along those lines. It has a Zelda RPG sorta feel with something like a Final Fantasy fighting style. I played this game on the PC but it may have been emulated so I don't know if it is for sure a PC game. I think the name may have ended in saga but I'm not sure on that. Any help you can give me on this would help me greatly. Thanks!
A bit late, but you're looking for Phantasy Star IV [http://youtu.be/kxrQyXL_GrY] - the character you described is Alys Brangwin, the petrified village is Zema outside of Birth Valley, and I'm pretty certain the computer you're remembering is Seed at the end of Birth Valley (or at least one of the other systems knocked out-of-control by the actual antagonists). You ought to replay the game - your recollection is ... either clouded by time or you didn't get too far in the game ;)

Incidentally, have you ever played Phantasy Star II?
The final boss of PS2 IS an evil computer - the Mother Brain [http://youtu.be/bD4M1kgkFoc]. It'd be nice to see an actual GOOD remake of the game and not the Sega Ages crap; thank goodness they didn't make it to IV.

The second game was played on Windows, probably 95. It may also have run through MS-DOS. This one was more of an educational game, I believe. It was sort of like Carmen Sandiego, in that you had to do a number of repetitive levels between story cut-scenes. Also, many times you would just get the same cut-scene. I think the story included the bad guy taking over television, maybe to brainwash the world? The only thing I remember for certain is the antagonist's satellite taking over the "good" satellite. The graphics were cartoon-y, and the bigger "bad" satellite drifted up, opened a mouth and swallowed the "good" satellite.
This is actually how I found this thread - I was searching for the same game and this thread was the first result in my search. It's the old DOS game Time Riders in American History [http://youtu.be/6uOdPDVoMNI].

Ok, I need help remembering the name, but I can tell you everything about the intro to the game. Reason I don't remember is I rented it from Movie Gallery back in the day. It's a JRPG that I'm fairly sure was on the SNES, though it could have been on N64.

You start off as a dragon trapped in a crystal at the end of a mine. The miners crack you open and you start killing them in turn-based combat. After killing several, the foreman tries to fight you, but as you're about to kill him his daughter yells at you and hits you in the head with a crane. The next scene is you as a boy riding on a train. You fall of the train to be found by a guy and a young boy (who says something about eating you). I think either your character or the young boy had a tail as well.

That's all I can remember. It's a JRPG with turn-based combat and dragons... That REALLY narrows it down, I know. I'm gonna go back in the thread and try to help out others here.

EDIT: After years a searching I found it. I started using some Google Fu after I remembered the game had a three in the title. And wadda ya know, it was Breath of Fire 3.

My game is really, really niche. It was a flash game (I think) I played as a kid and was in french on an educational website, but it was actually really fun and kinda nightmare fueling.

You played as a little boy in purple pjs trying to escape your nightmares and every time you screwed up the Devil would take a step closer to you until you woke up crying.

Hey, I'm new here.

So i played this game when i was in kindergarten. so the game starts out with the protagonist girl shes black/dark brown with shoulder length black hair. and she comes from her house another character tells her something, and i don't remember the mission of the game but she has to jump up and open those question mark boxes and stuff like that and the better you do the more farther you get in a game, i remember going to a west like salon place and at night or something i had to stay away from witches. and if i died a green worm with white gloves and a purple umbrella would take me towards the upward part of the screen. i don't remember the graphics it defiantly wasn't 3D and it was a PC game.

Thanks for your help.

hi all, I am searching for a game for almost 4 years now which I played in my ps 1 almost 10-11 years ago. In this game there was a girl and a boy. You could play with both of them by turns and they could use magic. The scenarios were beautiful like it was a world of magic. The boy had like a big round thing on his hand and used magic from it. The girl could also do magic. There was also maybe a unicorn in the game. The game was probably Chinese coz the characters looked like Chinese anime characters. I know its not much but if any of you could help me find the name of this game please i need it badly.

Hi all I'm looking for a game that was probably around the mid 90's. It's a top down side scrolling space shooter. You basically flew through an infinite universe doing whatever you pleased, as long as you kept your fuel up by collecting little red fuel tanks. You could enter into races against other ships, enter into one on one duels and so forth. The universe was governed by laws so if you killed another persons ship the police would come after you with 'enforcers and interceptors' . There was a massive range of ships you could choose from, I remember some of the names, viper, nemesis, bullet, golden bullet, falcon... Your ship could be upgraded. Probably one other key unique defining feature was occasionally you would enter into this realm called event horizon in which you would have to laser a demon from memory. Whenever you killed a ship you would collect a square dollar thing that would give you money and upgrades.

Thanks I'd love to run this game again :)

Hello, i dont know of this tread is for really small pocket games but about 20 years ago a had a pocket computer, a little one. No colors, just lines. The main thing you have to do was catch birds, i believed it were parrots, and put them in a cage. The character who have to catch these birds was a robot. I was very addictive to the game but i don't remember the name...

Hello, I found this thread from google, I hope someone could help me find this game's title.. This game was a JRPG game.. The console was Playstation 1.. I remember playing it at around 2002 or 2003.. This game has a turn-based battle system, similar to those of Final Fantasy 7,8, or 9.. The only thing I remember is a battle which the party is fighting a single man (drunk/crazy, or maybe a hooligan) using wooden spear/stick and twisting it, the battle is located in a storage/bar, maybe the party was challenged by him.. The bar/storage was located in a village at a middle of a forest.. this is the vague I can get, it's appreciated if someone can help me out.. :)

P.S sorry for my English.. :)
have no idea? just remembered something, the game also has world maps so we can travel around the fictional world..

I'm trying to find an old game about robot fights. I played it approximately 8 years ago. I remember, that it was 3d and robots were fighting in different locations around the house(like attic or garage).

I played this game almost a decade ago on the computer (Mac), so it was either late 90's or early 00's, and it was from what I remember some learning game where you would use this time traveling bicycle (like a stationary one) in a treehouse, and you would explore different historical areas, I remember exploring around a Mayan temple. Any ideas?
