I used to have a great space RTS, but I lost the disc for it and can't remember the name.
That's definitely gotta be Conquest: Frontier Wars. Good game.
It is! And it's even on GoG. Instant rebuy.

Hello there,

There are three games I used to play when I was young, but never found 'em back again.. All the games are from the mid to end 90s. Perhaps anyone here knows :)

1: It was a game in which you were a character who could shoot and drive different weapons and cars, and in which you had to find or kill things... Not very clear I know, but I thought it was called 'Dune Runner', though I could never find a game with a name like that...

2: Being a sort of huge walking robot/killermachine on an unknown planet (which looked like the moon or something), in which you could shoot plasma bolts and probably more, can't really remember the purpose, I probably mainly just walked and shot other robots/buildings with him. There were different robots as far as I remember as well.

3: A helicopter game from the same decade, just can't tell much more about it, only that I enjoyed it very much ^^..

Thanks a lot in advance if anyone of you recalls one of these :)!

Hi guys.
Been looking for a game for ages now so I thought it was time for me to register and let you help me.
I don't remember to much about it but it was a very one of a kind game so here I go.

* Released in mid 90s I think (or early 2000).
* The games view is from the top.
* You have an in from where you hire heroes.
* I remember enemies like giants, goblins, turtles, flying things and spell casters (and more).
* You unlock zones as you progress through the game. I remember unlocking a beach like area.
* One thing i especially remember is when a goblin dies they sound like "Noooooo"
* you can upgrade equipment and find treasures.
* The game starts with your in surrounded by a little forest and then there are enemies around.
* You can pick quests from the in. For example "kill 1 giant" and so on.

I wish I could remember more but that's kinda what I got. Will add if I come up with more.

Thanks for a great thread.

Hey guys. So here's some info on the pc game I'm trying to find:
You basically start each level by placing ur home base on the map. Then you connect weapon pods and energy pods to the main base and each other and create a grid like network.
The main source base slowly begins to power up all the added pods and activating them.
You battle against a rising level of a fluid/liquid enemy. And you basically have to destroy the fluid enemy or keep it from over flowing onto you land and destroying ur pods and main source base.
I'm not sure when this game was released but I played it back in 2008.
It was a top down view game.

If anyone knows the name of this game please let me know. I'm going crazy trying to find it or remember the name.
Thanks guys.

3D platformer for PC, definitely from the 90's, the demo I played at the time was set on a beach and had you scale the cliff paths which were rather curvy. The graphics were kinda cartoony I think? Can't remember much more than that, I only remember playing it once. I had it on a demo disc and played it on my Pentium P166. Anyone know? I don't think there were many 3D platformers for PC.

Hi Folks,

Ok, I have a difficult one here for you.

The game I'm trying to identify is an old Windows PC game from around 1997 or 1998.

It's a futuristic ROBOT RPG game.

The only thing I can remember from the game was that when you built up your Robot army
you could place these Automated Machine gun Towers at different locations, and when they would be built up and activated.... a computer robot voice would say:

"CITADEL IS ONLINE"

My cousins and I loved the RObotic Computer voice this game had, and it would be a real trip to be able to play it again.

It was along time ago and I can't remember much else about the game.

Let me know if this rings any bells with anyone.

Cheers!

I've got one that's been bugging me for the longest time.

It's a PC game, at least 10 years old I'm thinkin'. It was a horror game where you played as this woman whose husband/boyfriend gets possessed by a demon or something and goes around killing women, and you're supposed to stop him. From time to time, there were cutscenes showing different women being killed in different ways. At one point, he captures you and ties you to a chair with a guillotine blade above your head and you have to somehow free yourself before he releases the blade to kill you.

I never actually played it, I remember watching my mom or somebody else play it. Nevertheless, I'd love to find out what it is.
Did anyone ever find out what this game was called?
Sounds just about daft enough to be Phantasmagoria.

I'm thinking that's Trine? A few games fit that description, but Trine sounds right.

Any news on mine?

Ok my memory is not the best but here it goes:
-The game was for PS2
-There is a young adult girl (Not sure of this)
-She has a blue spirit or something blue around her
-Was an action game DMC style
-I dont remember the main weapon for her but I think she used powers from the spirit
-Couldnt get past the prologue because it was glitched
-Your foes in the prologue are not very clear, but were like black cockroaches with a green light around it or something like that?
-Also, in the prologue, there was fog, and it looked like it was at the top of a castle, but im not so sure.
-It was 3D, with a young aldut`s graphic style (Somewhat like Beyond Good and Evil)

Yeah, played this when I was 6 way back when i didnt knew english. so I hope you could help me

EDIT: IT ISNT PRIMAL, just to make that clear

There was this interactive, learning game in the 90s where you would pop in a VHS tape and then have this big controller that interacted with it. The characters on the TV would have some sort of problem you would have to try to figure out using the controller.

I can't think what the name of it is and it's driving me INSANE! haha. Please help if you can. All I remember about it was that one of the characters would kind of sing/talk "try, try again my friend. Try, try again" when you got it wrong. haha

Thanks in advance!

I got one for you guys:
*It's an old pc game where you play as toy soldiers (the game is basically green soldier vs beige soldier)
*It's an fps (can't remember if it was a 3rd person shooter or a fps, but I can't remember any tps from that far back)
*It had vehicles
*Your soldiers can be melted into plastic goo by the flamethrower
*The game occurs in everyday areas like the bathroom, kitchen, the garden etc (everything is HUGE, the game is in the perspective of the toy soldier)

Help me find this game and you will be my friend for ever

I have an idea... Here we go... was it... Army Men? The game?

Edit: Upon further research, there are many, many games of that series to choose from. I can't really tell you an exact one, but I could lay out a few possibilities, or I could link you to this page and you can probably find it yourself:

2. Battletech or Battlemech I want to say... this is SEGA Genesis era though...

3. If same era, then Im guessing its one of the "strike" games. Like Desert Strike or Jungle Strike etc...

Google those and see if that's what you were looking for.
Hey, thanks for the respond, but both are unfortunately not the ones I was looking for ;).

I remember that at the helicoptergame I was looking from the inside, so not RTS like but more FP. Same counts for the Robot game, though the robots look a lot like some of those from Battlemech :). Hope it helps!
