I remember this 2.5d platformer where you could either play as a man or a red-haired woman, atleast I think that's the case. I also remember you could collect collect something like coins maybe, because at the start of a level ( second level? ) you could run back and jump up, and there'd be some hidden coins where your camera couldn't see.

I'm not sure if I should describe it as 2.5d, as I think it was more like 3D but you could only move forward or backwards on a set path. Played on PC, not sure if you had guns / enemies.

Hi guys, I'm searching one millitary game, which I played long time ago (I don't know exactly when, but it is aroud 2000-2005). The game was FPS/TPS and demo/or first level started on the desert. There was the millitary base with a road, on the road, there was a truck, player can jump into the truck and go to the base. Also, there was one allied computer soldier, who go alone and attack the enemy base, after that, there was next base, much bigger base, which was defended by helicopter. Please, I can't remember more details and somethings can be different, my memories are very blurry, but maybe it is some Delta Force, SpecOps or something like that. Thanks for help!!!

Ive looked and looked and looked...

Old robot rts game. You started with a commander robot and a few weaker units. The commander robot could build and heal the others.

Could have been windows 95.

Someone have any idea? Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I remember playing a 2d side scrolling game which I think was on the Commodore 64. You start off in a cage which you have to move from left to right to escape. I remember it being a scary game and thought it was also in black&white but i'm not sure.

Also there were some creature-like tentacles reaching out of the water trying to grab you. This is all I remember.

I hope you guys can help me out. Bedankt alvast (Thnx)!

I played this Windows PC game at a friend's house around 2001, but the game was probably a few years old, so I'm guessing it came out around the mid-to-late 90s. Since I haven't played it in about 12 years, my memory might be a little off, but hopefully my description will be good enough for someone to recognize it.

The premise of the game was that some time around the middle of the 21st century, archaeologists found ancient artifacts in the Gobi Desert suggesting that a tribe of humans had left Earth thousands of years ago to settle another corner of space. The artifacts had clues to their location, so the archaeologists set out to go find them. When they did find them, these humans were hostile and sent out ships to attack them, killing most of the archaeologists and starting a war with Earth. You play the role of an Earth military commander sent to fight them.

The game uses primitive 3-D strategy when most space-based PC games at the time were 2-D. When you send your ships to a certain location, you have to tell them where to go both on the horizontal plane and the vertical plane. You're also starting off at a technological disadvantage (since the enemy has been spacefaring for a few millennia longer than the humans who stayed behind on Earth), so you have to build up resources in order to research new technologies that will allow you to fight on a more equal footing.

Does anyone remember a game like this?
Just found the name of it: Homeworld. Came out in September 1999. As it turns out, my description was waaaay the hell off.

Guys i Didnt know there was a thread like this.so i need to know 2 games and plz help me if anyone know this:

1.There were 2 guys, 1 with a magical staff and another has an axe( i cant choose him though ).there was like a high graphic forest, there are many insects and animals i have to kill. i have to go to the cornor to go to the next part, there is a shop in the game where i can buy magical powers, the shop closes in time like it will be only there for a particular hour.

2.this is a game where i can create Giants, so when i start this game i have to choose a Giant race, there was only 1 option for me, there were Blue, Red, Violet.i have a base in the starting of the game and i have to build buildings to create soldiers, tanks to attack my enemy.and in the base i should create the Giant parts like legs, wrist, arms, chest, head etc.. the enemy also can create giants and i get a blue colour giant. anyone know these games?

I have very little memory about this game. All I do know is it was on the PC (maybe but most likely) and it was a kids game. Might have been a girl game as well. I remember you were in a cave and had to sort a dragons treasure by rusty/copper, silver and gold.

That's all I remember lol.

Hopefully someone can help with this....And it will be a true challenge with what little I remember. I only saw this game once in an arcade when I was really young on a vacation. It was martial arts/Karate based (Pre-Street Fighter 2) It was a stand up Arcade game where you would fight various enemies. Each enemy was a 1 on 1 fight and had their own unique look. One thing that sticks out is that you could see who you would be fighting next as your present match was taking place.....I remember them being in the background either lined up or sitting down waiting to fight you...when you would beat one guy the next enemy would get up and come approach you so the next match could begin. I Think even the last guy was sitting on a chair or something in the background (Think Shao Kahn in MK2 on the throne) Basically enemies were spectators. No idea of the name or anything but it was for sure a stand up arcade game and it was pretty cool. I have literally been searching this for years with no success. Hope someone has better recall than I do.....to my credit I was maybe 8 or 9 at the time. Thanks so much guys!

Ive looked them up. It looks similar to Z and has less units than TA. Maybe it was just a small insignificant game...

big game brother played it but I don't remember the name

you played with mostly pole arms, hammers and long range melee weapons when you chose to attack you got the choice of body part with percentages of hit then you attacked every time you swung you needed to hit the attack button and as long as your timing was right you could keep attacking until the monster was dead, I also remember the first boss which was a stone golem that the first time you fought it had only a 1 percent success on a leg

it had a medieval feel and I am pretty sure it was a square space game were you moved on tiles on the floor but there was not a turn based type system there were also enemy's like skeletons, zombies, slimes, and bats

I don't know how much help it will be but I remember a section where you had to go over a crumbling bridge and you first encounter the bats.
Sounds like it could be Vagrant Story.
