hello people i got one here witch is boggling me and my brother for some time but we haven't played for years so sorry for not too descriptive description :)

It was a mac game i believe where you could play multiplayer and singleplayer to race around the world. for each turn you had to answer some questions and at the end you got a score and you saw a short movie clip of some weird invention like a plane or magnet car or some stuff like that and as you progressed you saw lines on the map moving closer to goal.

thats all i got i think :/ anyone remember or have played this ? any help would be much appreciated

There's 3 games I remember playing demo's of in the late 90's but can't remember their names. I think the demo discs were from PC monthly around the same time that Deus Ex and WarGames demos came out.

1. The first one is a 3rd person game where you drive around a tank in the future fighting loads of enemies. I think the intro screen had something like "Freedom fighters in the future have somehow connected their new (stolen?) super weapon to your computer and need your help in piloting the thing. there was a lot of browns and reds.

2. The other Demo was kind of like a 3rd person fantasy sport game where you could purchase a flying creature (giant bat/Pterasour), saddle it up and enter an arena with your opponent and the winner goes to the next round (3 in all in the demo) you could upgrade/replace your creature and weapons.

3. oh, before I forget! There was another game, from the same time that was some sort of futuristic racing game where the tracks were elevated highways and loops and your veicles were these weird metal hamster cage type things.

Any help would be appreciated. been driving me mad for ages! :(

I used to play this old PC game my uncle had. it may have been late 90's. I remember it was a fantasy platform with stuff from fairy tales in it. it wasn't for kids though. I remember a level in the game, where it mimicked gullivers travels and your character gets tied up by tiny people. I think the cover may have been a guy running about to get stomped on by a giant.

I've got two. Both are PC titles that I played at an old friend's place somewhere between 1998 and 2003. I've used up all my google fu, I've scoured lists of old PC games, but I just can't find them anywhere.

The first one was sort of a baby's first RTS. The characters looked a bit like anthromorphic potatoes... There was no combat or different units as far as I can remember, just collecting and building stuff. I distinctly remember there being a forest fire in one mission, where you had to gather wood and build a bridge over a river to escape the fire before your potato man burns to death.

The second one was in Finnish when I played it, complete with voice acting, but I'm pretty sure it was just a localization. The game featured a game show, where the players (who, as well as the host, were all anthromorphic pigs) were climbing a pyramid of sorts by answering questions correctly. Answering wrong would take you one step down, and the first one at the top would be the winner. I think. There might have been some more elaborate rules to it. The game supported up to four players, and included bots to fill in for missing players. Following the game show gimmick, even the main menu looked like a tv-studio, and you could see cameras here and there. The questions were in multiple categories like geography, politics, sports, and so on and on. And...that's all I can remember. Game show. Pigs.

This is bugging the crap out of me. I remember a game I use to play, it was where I built a defense with machines that would shoot missles and a machine that would also slow them down. And another one that would shoot lasers. And the people you had to keep away from entering your castle where Characters like men and helicoprers and you had different leveles. Someone help me please. Oh ya and the game use to be on my ipod.

Hey guys, first post! Registered to ask about this game.
I barely remember anything about this game but that it was a racing game for PC and I think it was released mid 90's. You got to pick a character to then drive as and every character had their specific power(s) and different looks and very different cars. I think the courses could be really crazy and sometimes you would drive around on roof tops.

I am sorry for the vague explaination, but I hope it helps, thanks!

I'm looking for an old pc game. Pretty sure it's from the 90's. It's this Spaceship racing game, that has these sort of triangularish looking hovering ships racing on a walled-off track. In 3rd person. It had this awesome electronic music, which might even be a popular electronic track from the 90s, not sure though.

I remember this game quite distinctly, but I'll be dammed if I can find it.

It's a game in which you pilot both a helicopter and a tank ( you start out in a helicopter and use a tank in a later mission, underground).

Graphically, it looks simillar to Recoil, but it's considerably more colourful.

You attack both air and ground targets in your helicopter, at one point in the first mission, you're helped by another helicopter, which you're told will be joining you by someone over the radio who speaks more like a narrator than someone in an army. The first mission atleast is fairly long ( or maybe it just seems that way to me now ) and is broken up by 'cutscenes' where this guy talks to you and tells you what you'll be doing next.

The enviroment you're fighting in looks fairly temperate, grassy. However, later on you also fly to a tropical island. And towards the end you're in a snowy area.

The game ends with you in a helicopter fighting a giant space ship of some sort. After shooting various bits off of it, you fly your helicopter into one of it's bays, blow up it's reactor, and rush out as it begins to explode. The game then ends with a cutscene of your landed helicopter and you, the pilot, standing outside of it, with the spaceship crashed way below into the snowy valley you were fighting in. - This being the first time you actually see "yourself" out of the helicopter.

That's about it. I also distinctly remember that the game had FOUR difficulty settings, and each difficulty setting was represented with a picture of a pilot with various variants of helmets and equipment on. The helicopter missions were also far more numerous than the tank ones, I think.

Oh, and, ofcourse, it was third person. And it was on the PC.

Can anyone help me? I'm trying to remember a game where You played as a Wizard kid dressed in a blue robe and hat, going through levels trying to find all the broken pieces of a golden sword to defeat some uber boss, and in order to beat the game you had to buy a new set of eyes that turned them blue and made them as big as your head almost, but gave you infinite mana or something, then you bought shoes that made you run faster, i remember the final pair of shoes being purple. and you could buy capes and such. There was a grassy level, a cave level and a fortune cookie factory as 3 of the levels. It's really killing me trying to remember, I played it on my mom's old windows 95 It was top down view but was in 2.5d and if you got all the pieces of the sword it shot out infinite skull type projectiles that ricochet and let you kill the boss in about 5 seconds.

Hey I hope you'll be able to help me out here. I was playing this demo game a long time ago, never passed the demo, so I really want to play that game again.

When the game starts, you're playing for a male character. It's a 3ed person view. You start on an island(I remember some few ancient Greek colons near the place you start) You wake up and your character says -"I can't remember anything". In demo, you had a knife and a bow. As a was traveling a bit further, I saw a fat person standing with a huge bat. (I think that when I put my mouse on him, it said "Cannibal" though cant remember)After trying to attack him I was dying really fast, like 2 or 3 hits. You could also crowl in this game.

Hope you'll be able to help me.
