I have a game stuck in my head and would really appreciate help figuring out which one it is. I played it on the PC. I remember playing it around 2000-2001ish. It was a game with two guys and ur trying to bring the other guy down. U play puzzle/strategy games to try and out wit him. I think thats what it was. I vaguely remember like a scientist or something. I cant find a thing on the web. Sorry if my description sucks but I dont remember much. Thanks!

I know this is not a lot of information but there was a game for I think the ps2 or Gamecube and it was a game where you played as an orange animal and it was a platformer but you could also attack things and I think it had a sequel where you could upgrade things like your claws. I miss this game so much and I can't remember it PLEASE HELP!

Ok, I've been looking for this game's name for years now.

It was I think from like the mid to late eighties, could be a little older but not more than early nineties (it was at least twenty years ago)

You were able to build an army but you couldn't control it (it was just sent to fight).

There were two sides in the game - one was green I think and the other was grey or something along those lines.

There were helicopters and zeppelins, as well as some kind of flak cannon you could use with the arrow keys.

Oh, and it was like side-scrolling.

The background of the game was pitch black and the soldiers looked like this - http://newyorkcliche.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/throwing-trash-basketball.gif

Hi guys, i'm trying to remember a game I think I had a demo version of from an old PC magazine disc. I THINK it was the same disc that had the StarCraft shareware demo on.

The game was some kind of space/astronaut first person game. Not even sure if it had guns or not as I was too young to figure out what I had to do or how to do anything and just wandered pointlessly. You were on a moon I think in some kind of moon base and there were various vehicles and buildings you could get into. Graphically I think it was quite blocky, but 3D and 1st person. Sorry it's a bit vague but it's killing me! It would've been out probably around the mid to late 90's.

Big thanks if anybody can help me out here!
Still need help if anybody can? Thx

Hi there,

Like everyone else I am trying to find an old computer game. I remember playing it in 1998 although I don't know if that was the year it was released.

I don't remember a lot about the game but you are a man in medieval type clothes. I'd say it was an adventure game; you talked to people and walked around a town. I feel like I remember black birds or something similar attacking me.

The one thing I do remember very clearly is there is this young boy encouraging you to go swimming in this water and sort of eggs you on with "c'mon! Jump in!" I remember jumping I and drowning because apparently you can't swim lol.

I know it's not a lot to go on; I haven't had any luck finding the game as googling "man drowns in water computer game" doesn't seem to pull up anything useful lol.

Hope someone can help! :).
King's Quest VI: Heir Today Gone Tomorrow.
Thanks so much! I'm going to see if I can find it online somewhere :).

First of all hello to all of you. I have read a lot of pages on this thread but I decided to skip the reading part and just post. Hopefully thanks to you guys I will be able to find this game that's been messing with my brain.

I think the game was for the PS2, because if I recall, I played it in the early demos. From what I remember this game was really similar to the Final Fantasy games, a turn-based RPG game, sharing more similarities with FF8 ( size of the characters), but graphics a little better since I do think it was for the PS2 but I might be wrong. I remember that at some point you unlocked this power where the character which was a male, transforms into this robotic or different shaped being that had a red coloured suit/body. I also remember that the demo finished after a boss which if i recall correctly had serpent like features. I also think there might have been more characters which could form a party but in the demo you only played with that one or with only one.

I really hope one of you lads remember or associate that description with the game I am looking for. I've tried my older friends but none of them associated that description with any game.

Thank you for the patience of reading this, and cheers to you. Meanwhile I will continue to search for it.
You're looking for "Legend of Dragoon". Played it myself for a few weeks.

I have a game!
It's a 2D spaceship shooter. The game is all controlled by mouse in a neon-blue rocket ship. You go around in a large open area where you destroy other ships and colonize planets after you destroy the ships guarding the planets. You slowly upgrade the ship throughout the game.
It is not Warpath, I checked. I don't know the publisher. Sorry, this is vague information... but I hope someone may know or point me in the right direction.
Thanks! ^^
This sounds like StarFlight for SEGA Genesis. Great game.

Mine is a flash sort of game that has mini comics in the beginning and there's chapters of this game posted as separate games and there's very smooth 3D-type graphics. I wanna say the name has something to do with blox but its totally different from that game. And you have a party of people. Like four people and you fight different monsters with a grid floor i think. And the dialogue in the tiny comics between levels and/or stages was funny and ironic. Aw, it's like right on the tip of my tongue. I played it probably only a couple or a few years ago on armor games or kongregate maybe. Thank you if anyone knows what this is. Have a good day. Oh and my email is Taylorrcrow@gmail.com Two R's.
Oh and I was wondering how many people in here actually find the game they're looking for...
Thanks again.

This one has been hunting me for years, there was an old game that I use to play a lot back in the end of the 90's, it was a third person shooter, the environment was kind of futuristic and in spaceships and stations, the main character was a guy is a red battle armor, the enemies where humans, robot and turrets, you had several weapons, like regular machine guns, laser weapons, microwave cannons and such... I'm under the idea that the name had either the word "Loose" or "Cannon" but I'm not totally sure..

Any ideas, I would love to play this again some time

Well, this thread seems inactive but I remembered a game I couldn't recall the name of. Here goes!

It was included on this CD back in the 90s of like 100+ (maybe 250?) computer games and featured you landing on various planets with different gravity that would pull you down. At the time I loved the physics of the game, you could run out of fuel and crash or land too hard and crash and there were different levels of gravity from Moon, to Earth, Mars, Jupiter, at least as far as I can remember.

It was a moon landing game, essentially: simple but amazingly fun. If you could help me find it my eternal gratitude lies in the hands of the one who can. :D

This is an awesome thread, found this through google.

* So I'm looking for an old awesome PC game (I believe it was PC) - with this futuristic car that you had to maneuver in outer space in different levels, each had different gravity more or less and you had a set amount of fuel too. I think it was something like Skyracer ? Not sure. Will I need Dosbox to run this ? Hopefully not!

Thanks!

The game is Skyroads.

Hey guys, I've been trying to find this one old 1990-2000 game for a while now. It's an arcade game that I used to play back in 2000 at this place near Serramonte Center, Daly City. This game can have four characters(like a warrior, a girl warrior, a mage and forgot the last one) and you would go around killing creatures in a dungeon/medieval setting. The final boss is a giant lava demon that is looking for you.

Sorry for the vague description, but I just remembered it off the top of my head after 10 years

Hello,
Well this place is my last chance to find this game. It was for PC i think around yr 2000. It was a strategy you had two sides, humans and aliens of some sort. The humans had tanks jeep's and such and aliens had these huge two legged robots with rocket launchers. The graphics was kinda cartoony. The thing i remember the most is the audio that would play on the main menu, it said "Shall we play again?" in kinda robotic voice. Anyone knows the name?

although i don't think i'd have a really good description of it
i remember it being an RPG :O

anywho, first of all, played this game in year 2000 on a pc, but dunno when it came out
2nd, characters are "cute" looking, borders are somewhat smooth nice, no weird/sharp edges for graphic
3rd, i vaguely remember walking up to a castles, and entering, castle was all dark and you then fighting monsters randomly to level up, don't remember what monsters, but i recall you can set up spells on a panel like RO and set the to certain keys
there is a map/radar but it only shows like within a certain radius
4th. i remember being a mage/wizard thing, although i think you can be other characters. :|

i know this is quite a bad description but i've gave up all hope TT, been searching for too long!
thank youuuuuu in advance to anyone who knows this game

If the other character was an elf archer then its Gauntlet you're looking for i think.

That's it!!! Thank you so much my dear cyber friend! I've been trying to remember the name for ages. Kudos to you ;)And I'm european and as I see the game was only released for the Playstation 1 but it was in 2001, hence why I thought it was for the PS2.

Hi, I've got an old pc game that I'd like to get a hold of too.

It's an RPG style game, where the main man is an adult man who had the power to turn into beasts, namely a lizard and a "big red thing" and it's set in a world with similar styles to morrowind, with a roman-like army as bad guys that are hunting you. I remember this one part in the game where you are in a dark cave or corridor with skeletons, and very time you picked up the skeletons key they attacked you.

I'm not sure if they were sequels or if it was the same game on multiple discs, but I remember there being more than one disc of the game.

Only other things I can remember is that one of the bottom corners always showed his face, constantly blinking, talking and reacting, and his face changed from human to lizard and monster whenever he transformed.

Hope this is enough for someone to go on, I've literally searched for it in every way I can think of. Thanks!

Have an old PC game that's been bugging me for years and no one can really figure it out based off my description, but I'll give it another shot!

From what I can remember, this PC game was a point and click adventure game based in space. You went planet to planet, though I don't quite remember the objective of the game. At some point through gameplay, you open a black hole that takes you to a new system of planets.

Two images distinctly stick out in memory. The first is upon going to one of the planets you see a scene of a creature pole dancing. I think it was some kind of rodent. The second is a colorful place, I think it was a shop or something, and the robotic creature there was awfully annoying.

I pray that someone knows of this game! Thanks in advance!
