How "old" is old? I'm geeting to be an old man (heading toward my mid thirties), so the first thing that comes to mind about a Wizard controlled by 2 players is Wizball on the C64...... but that may be too old :)The second one I have no idea, but the first thing that comes to mind (again, I'm old) is Bounder....give me a time frame and I might be able to help more. ;-)

Hello ! I have been trying to find this game for over a year now and I just can't seem to find it :(

I've been playing it around 1998 - 2002, it was a 2d game , something like SuperMario. The character you play with is a little purple witch who collects some coins, and when the level is over, a lot of witches fly around with umbrellas. I'm not entirely certain the color is purple, maybe the umbrellas were red and white, and witches were dark blue, I'm not really sure :/

Anyways, that's all I know, I really hope that someone knows what games is that. + I heard it was featured in some kind of old games collection, but I'm not sure.

Please and thank you <3

Hey everyone, looking for a game I used to play as a kid. I used to play the game in the very early 90s (so it was propably older then that). In the game you are a knight or some sort of warrior. It's an "open" arcade game which means you can go either left or right and the level route isnt "closed" to walking only at a certain direction.
Your weapons are throwing axes (could be more that I dont remember).
The most distinctive thing about this game that I remember is that you had to pick up cards (or something similiar), once you had enough cards (5 I believe) you could spin them in order and it would teleport you to a random part of the game (with some kind of an animation).
If it helps, I used to call the game "King Arthur" when i was a kid but I really doubt it is the name or even the name is similiar.
My Friend I'm pretty sure your talking about Ghosts and goblins, and the character name is Arthur, so check it out if you want
Defiently not Ghosts and Goblins, it didnt exist on the PC back then (I believe) the game I am refering to played on the CGA gfx card. Also GNG wasnt an open game (you only go right or up on GNG while on the game I am talking about you can also go left and the world is somewhat more open) and GNG didnt have the teleport cards as well
Dont wont to offend you, but except the name arthur it doesnt have anything related to GNG so it was a shot in the dark but defiently not this game. So anyone else? help!

2 old PC games, from the late 90s/early 2000s

1. Puzzle game where the king has been shot with a poison dart, and you need to go on an adventure to find a cure. I think I remember programming a heat probe at one point to see which chute was safe to jump down.

2. A game where you explored a house filled with monsters and things, I recall one part was a lab in the basement where you could make your own frankenstein creation (at which point the game promptly froze and died 90% of the time)

I used to play this simple little game when I was a little girl on my big box of a PC at the time, called Cats.
What I remember from it is that you can pick whatever breed of kitten that you want, I believe you can even name them too, and afterwards you take care of your kitty in a room with nothing but a shelf and a mouse hole in the wall. On the shelf, there is a bowl of food, a bowl a water, kitty toys, a spray bottle, flea spray, and cheese for the mouse. Whenever the mouse would come out of the hole, it would run around looking for cheese (if it wasn't already out) and once it found the cheese it would stop and nibble at it. And whilst that happened, the kitty that you have is prowling to catch it! It will jump on the mouse and the mouse will scream. And if you grab your cat by it's neck, it will drop the mouse and the mouse will run around before it finds its way back into its hole. It's a fun little game that I just recently had a dream about and I really would like to reconcile with those old memories! Does anyone remember what I'm talking about? I wonder if there is somewhere on the internet where I could possibly download it? Probably not though, since it was on a CD-ROM and it was downloaded to my IMB block computer and I had either Windows 95 or 98. Oh well, I decided to post about it since I miss it.
I had a couple of versions of this game, it's called "Catz" and you can also get "Dogz" to form a combined game where you can raise both.
The game series is called "Petz" as a whole, which is what it's listed under on wikipedia etc.
The game type you want to play is petz 1-5, with breedable pets and the distinctive line and ball animation. you can download a ton of extra breeds and other animals for it too.
Generations after that are a totally different format.

Hello everyone,

I played this PC game in the 90s maybe around 1994-1999 where you controlled a spaceship and had to destroy meteorites by shooting at them. For example the first level started with a big meteorite, if you shot at it, it would break into 2 smaller pieces and the smaller pieces would break into even smaller pieces and so on and you beat the level by eliminating the meteorite completely. The game had co-op as well, up to 3 players and the spaceships had different colors for all 3 players: brown(or light brown), blue and pink respectively. The first two players were able to play on one keyboard but for the third you needed a joystick. I remember the game had a pacman type mode as well where you (if I remember this correctly) versed each other. Also at about level 6 or 7 into the game, there were different nebulas in the background, as opposed to the classic dark space with stars from the previous levels.

Thats pretty much all I remember about the game. Would appreciate it very much if someone remembers and could tell me the name of the game.

Thank you in advance.

Okay everyone, its time for one i have little faith in finding;

This PC game was from either the late 90's or early 2000's and in this game you personally created what i remember to be a highly detailed fighting robot or monster (not sure which) in which the stats varied based on the design quality. Its such a vague memory its hard to describe the gameplay itself, but i do remember the game to be quite complicated.

The robots/monsters were very unique and quite variable.

PLS HELP ME I NEED THIS GAME!

Okay, I'm really not sure about this one, but you guys are doing a wonderful job on the others so here goes:

The game I'm thinking of is from a while ago, at least 5 or 6 years and almost certainly more. It was (to the best of my memory) a top-down (as in, you're looking down onto the terrain - it's not a 3D perspective) 2D sprite-based game, or at least your characters were very cartoon-like, by which I mean styled like the top-down Zelda games, though the terrain wasn't like that. As far as I remember, the game started off in some sort of industrial setting with pipes spewing steam at random.
Now, what you did was basically delve into a dungeon or climb a tower (though I am almost certain it was a dungeon), and I'm fairly positive the enemy encounters were random, though I can remember NOTHING of the combat. You collected materials that could be used to level things up (either as drops or from treasure chests/crates) and you just kept going deeper and deeper with different things happening when you reached certain depths, until eventually you won - it had a set story, and a defined ending, but I don't remember what they were.

This has been driving me crazy, I've spent hours and hours trying to find this game. If anyone has any leads, I would be extremely grateful!!!

EDIT: If it helps, I tried this game originally using an emulator on my computer, which may limit the console.

ok so this thread seems awesome...i hope someone can answer me , ok so i have three games that i really want to remember their names:
1-it's a pc games with the same settings as pac man but we played as pumpkins with hammers, there are dots that we should collect and enemies that we hit with our hammers. there were power ups one was called (hammer up) and one makes you go threw walls and another makes you put ice on the floor . i often played it as a 2 player with my brother.
2- also i pc game;you begin in a huge empty room with nothing but a small box that turns into a small robot that helps you build things.there is a male voice that often teases me and makes fun of my choices but sometimes helpful.it's then revealed that you are in a spacestation and alines come here to rest. you can even see their moods in bubbles above them.
3- pc game, i think it has the word castle in it. not a platform game you can see the whole level infront of you but it's covered in darkness ..you find a carnivorous plant that dies with a spray, then find a werewolf that dies with a silver bullet...you have to go around and find the right weapon for the right enemy.

there was this pc game where you played as a boy walking on a mountain cliff or something and creepy shadows come after you and hug you and you have to shake them away..you then get a gun to kill them but they are sooo many..at one point you get seeds that you can grow into trees to use to climb and at another part where you walk next to a wall with holes and sometimes ugly worms come out and snatch you...what 's it called????????????
Heart of Darkness?
YES!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH
