Yess, i've been searching for a place like this! Okay, so the game i was trying to remember was on ps1, had "doom"/"duke nukem 3d" like graphics. As far as i remember, you can only select some predefined levels in the game, but i am not sure about that. But the main thing about the game that i couldn't forget is that there were a lot of alien enemies in there, and they really looked like penises or something similar (i cannot explain how they look, but it really looks like something like a dick). The game was sandbox-like, you would go around a level and explore it, and kill the aliens if you wanted. And weapons were similar to duke nukem 3d, i think. Please help me remember the game.

EDIT:

NVM guys, i just found out that the game i was searching is called "PO'ed"

Sounds a little bit like Startopia.

ok so this thread seems awesome...i hope someone can answer me , ok so i have three games that i really want to remember their names:
1-it's a pc games with the same settings as pac man but we played as pumpkins with hammers, there are dots that we should collect and enemies that we hit with our hammers. there were power ups one was called (hammer up) and one makes you go threw walls and another makes you put ice on the floor . i often played it as a 2 player with my brother.
2- also i pc game;you begin in a huge empty room with nothing but a small box that turns into a small robot that helps you build things.there is a male voice that often teases me and makes fun of my choices but sometimes helpful.it's then revealed that you are in a spacestation and alines come here to rest. you can even see their moods in bubbles above them.
3- pc game, i think it has the word castle in it. not a platform game you can see the whole level infront of you but it's covered in darkness ..you find a carnivorous plant that dies with a spray, then find a werewolf that dies with a silver bullet...you have to go around and find the right weapon for the right enemy.
#2 might be Starship Titanic by Douglas Adams, but I'm not sure because I can barely remember it myself.

Can someone help me remember this game.

I played it on a Windows XP like in 2006-2007
It's a car game, on the cover of the game it's a red car with spikes on its roof.
In the game it's like a free roam you get chased by police or other cars, you can't get out of the car.
There is signs in the game of King Kong 2 or something like that.
There is missions you can do. The car can be damaged the wheels can come off and other parts also.

Anyone know the name of this awesome game?

I'm sure I can think of a few games... but this one particularly bothers me;
PC game, mid-nineties, I'd say. A first-person-shooter where you play as, at least what appears to be(I never got very far)
a flying robot. I remember only the first tutorial level, and a name: Saber one, or possibly Cyber 1.
You begin in some kind of warehouse, or training area, instructor talking you through how to move around. Something half-way through the level about hacking a terminal, and some issues with the left wing, and some numbers scrolling in a window, matrix-style. Toward the end of the level you are instructed to fly through a corridor, at which point the place is attacked by some aliens, or something, and they blow a hole in the wall. You destroy a monster and escape out into a city.

Then it gets fuzzy. It could be the memory is completely fictional at this point. Maybe it was more than one game, and it all got squished together over the years. I've searched google and abandonware-sites for saber one, cyber one, saber 1, cyber 1, no variant gives any hits related to what I think I remember.

Hello everyone,

I played this PC game in the 90s maybe around 1994-1999 where you controlled a spaceship and had to destroy meteorites by shooting at them. For example the first level started with a big meteorite, if you shot at it, it would break into 2 smaller pieces and the smaller pieces would break into even smaller pieces and so on and you beat the level by eliminating the meteorite completely. The game had co-op as well, up to 3 players and the spaceships had different colors for all 3 players: brown(or light brown), blue and pink respectively. The first two players were able to play on one keyboard but for the third you needed a joystick. I remember the game had a pacman type mode as well where you (if I remember this correctly) versed each other. Also at about level 6 or 7 into the game, there were different nebulas in the background, as opposed to the classic dark space with stars from the previous levels.

Thats pretty much all I remember about the game. Would appreciate it very much if someone remembers and could tell me the name of the game.

Thank you in advance.
Sounds pretty much exactly like the old Atari arcade game Asteroids, but probably a more modernized version or a spinoff. Here are a few wikis that might point you in the right direction: Asteroids [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asteroids_%28video_game%29] (original), Maelstrom [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maelstrom_%281992_video_game%29] (1992 spin-off), or Asterax [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asterax] (1994 Macintosh spin-off)

Hi there fellow gamers.

For the last couple of years I have been racking my brain trying to remember the name of a game I played on PC way back in about 2004 or 2005, but it may have been available on other platforms. It was a 3rd-person platform puzzler, maybe shooter too, not sure. All I remember is your character in the game was a small girl and the game started on stepping stones on water going towards a building of some description, probably a house. Once inside the house, the girl went exploring around, killing monsters and solving puzzles, but one scene which comes to mind, she was in a room that was almost like a funhouse or movie-set, with building-frontages propped up from behind with wooden props. If my vague description of this game jogs anyone's memory of it and the game's title, I would be extremely grateful, so I can try to track it down once again. No, it wasn#t Tomb Raider.

Thanks in advance folks.

It's a bit of a blur, But I remember a game years ago, You could be either dinosaurs or humans, I don't remember a whole lot about it, Apart from the fact you could bread the dinosaurs and the humans could reproduce. I only remember the human's had to have a hut where a male and female would go inside and then come out with a love heart over the girl. Which would mean she was pregnant. I no it's not much to go on, But hope someone has a clue as to what the game is! :)

Thanks

I am looking for the name of a Sega Megadrive game with was a side scrolling shooter, the playable characters were robots of different sizes and abilities and it was also two player. Me and my bother used to play it around 1995 but i can't be sure that's all the information I have.
Is it a strict 2D game, or a 2.5D game like Streets of Rage? Is it just shooting, or beat'em'up at all? Anything else at all you remember?

Okay everyone, its time for one i have little faith in finding;

This PC game was from either the late 90's or early 2000's and in this game you personally created what i remember to be a highly detailed fighting robot or monster (not sure which) in which the stats varied based on the design quality. Its such a vague memory its hard to describe the gameplay itself, but i do remember the game to be quite complicated.

The robots/monsters were very unique and quite variable.

PLS HELP ME I NEED THIS GAME!
Robot Wars?

okay I'm not sure if you guys will get this one but here it goes. Its a ps2 game and basically you're a team of sweat members if I remember that correctly on airplane you have to carry a out mission I believe it had to do with terrorist and while you're flying the plane your plane gets attacked and you all get separated after you parachute out. I'm not too sure on all the characters remember one of the characters names was Dan and if you found him you got to play as him and get unlimited ammo that was one of the things I definitely remember. I believe he has short brown hair but that's also a shot in the dark. good luck finding this out

Looking for an old PC game from the 90s (i think)

You're on a spaceship or spacestation or something like that. You're walking through halls and rooms, searching for things. You can pick up different guns and key cards (i think) and put them in slots that fit on the bottom of the screen. Aliens appear here and there and you have to battle them. I feel like the aliens resembled a flying dinosaur, a plant, a reptile, and others.

I think it was on a 3 1/2 inch floppy disk.

ok i hope people are still viewing this thread but, I remember it was a side-scrolling game for the snes, you had blond hair and you could jump and kick and you could shoot out like little waves of energy, you were blue and the game was very similar to megaman, but it was NOT megaman. one of the first levels i remember is where you have to jump up the little platforms up a circular tower. one of the first bosses you fought was some kind of monster that rolled around the square room and onto the walls and ceiling. and another boss i remember is a fish that shot in every direction. another level i remember is where you have to jump and it looks like you are in another dimension and there are guys in hoods attacking you and other stuff. if anyone can help me, i would greatly appreciate it.

EDIT: Nevermind i found it, the name of it was skyblazer
