Hi everyone this may be a hard one to find but I think the two games I remember from the 90s maybe they maybe older anyway the first game I can just remember it being about a giant and there was this red ball what bounced along some subtitles of a song and all I remember of the song was " Hey you kids stay out of my garden".

The second game was in a castle and I can remember seeing some night suites at the sides of the walls and it was in first person view and you had to click on doors and answer a question or a riddle to get to the next room also remember some stairs you could go up but that all I can remember from the two games.

Edit " the second games I found out what it was called its mind maze from Microsoft Encarta 95"

still haven't found anything about the first game yet any help would be appreciated

When I was a kid I used to play a game on the computer (windows) and you mixed and matched animals, it?s not impossible creatures but that name sounds familiar. I remember mixing a lobster and stuff. This was back in the early-ish 90s if that helps. I wish I remembered more but that's all I have.
is it really not impossible creatures? It sounds exactly like it http://www.microsoft.com/games/impossiblecreatures/

Hey everyone this is honestly probably one of the most retarded games you've heard of but I just can't seem to remember the name of it and now that it's bugging me I am wondering if any of you have heard about it...I used to play it when I was really young, It was one of the "Education Games" company, and I know quite a few details. My older brother used to play it as well. The main character, and the one you were controlling, was a Brown Wiener dog, and he went to a carnival/circus where people where an evil magician (can't seem to remember his name) put people into puzzle pieces and scattered them all around the grounds. You had to collect tickets by playing games or taking part in activities, and one of the activities I remember was a Fortune Teller/Story Teller who was a tiger. She would tell your fortune/ tell you a story if you gave her tickets. I remember one of the stories was about "Roy G. Biv" and later I remember there was a Puppet Show where they sang a song about compound words. It went something like this: "What is a burger made with cheese? Cheeseburger! Cheeseburger! What is a cake made in a pan? Pancake! Pancake! What is corn that you pop? Popcorn! Popcorn!" Occasionally you would see the Magician appear around. Yes, I know this is a totally stupid sounding game but I just wanted to look up that weird song on Youtube and I couldn't even remember the name of the freaking game!! I made an Escapist account just ti see if anyone else knew wth this game was and I highly doubt it lmao but if you have any idea please let me know so I can tell my brother "I told you I would find it HAHA!" Lol. Thanks for taking the time to read this and help if possible~

Hey @ all

(first sorry for my bad english. its not my main language)

since a long time im looning for a RPG game that i played on PC some years ago (~ 4-8)

It had an isomatric perspective like Diablo and the main character was female.

You play a daughter of a king (leader) of a small village. At the beginning of the game you get told that your father is very ill and someone (i think i was the oncle) is telling you the story about a "great war" that your father fight in. And at the moment, when hes is talking, you have the chance to fight the final fight in that war as your father.

After all it is you first question to find an medicine for him. then you get back you notice the hes dead. But not because he was ill. He got poisoned. You decide to find who did that and take revenge. After your first journey you noticed that the next person is dead (oncle) and now youre alone to do that.

In this game you have the possibility to play in group up to 3 or 4 person (not player). you could equip all of them and skill them up.

The whole game was in a kind of samurai/dark age still or something.

It is an old game but is one of that kind there graphic doesnt matter. The story was awesome. It would be great when someone of you know that game and could tell me the title.

I believe the game you're looking for is called Jump Ahead 2000, Reading Year 1. Sadly, I can't find video of it in YouTube, which is rare as even old DOS games are on there.

Hello all,

I'm not sure if someone has described this game before or not, but I've been searching for it for a very long time. I remember a game in the mid-to-late 90's or maybe early 2000's that I played on a PC. It involved using the six simple machines to solve puzzles. I also remember building different flight vehicles (plane, blimp, etc.) in order to race against some guy. If you didn't have good parts, you would lose to him in the races. I'm not totally sure about everything I've said but I definitely remember racing in different vehicles and you had to find parts to build those vehicles. Anything anyone would have would be greatly appreciated!!!
It's likely one of the Super Solvers games, specifically Gizmos & Gadgets.
Thank you so much!! This is definitely the game I was thinking of!

Ah I see, the only other game like this I can think of is Genewars (1996), so that would be my best/final guess then :)

It wasn't a RTS or anything like that, literally the only thing you did was make mix and match animals.

I'm looking for a really old game, probably Windows 3.1, might be DOS, or Windows 95... It's a puzzle game where you piece together classical pieces using steppings stones in a large pond. I could've sworn it was just called Stepping Stones, but no matter how hard I search I can't find it! It starts out simple with just a few stones, but in later levels you have to piece together several dousen stones! It was so challenging and satisfying to hear the music come together~

An streaming online computer game with disc shaped checkers robot pieces that could be upgraded with weapons and stuff. But it played more like a chess strategy game. It is also a multiplayer game.

I think it could be Mixed Genetics and the game can be found in the Microsoft Entertainment Pack: The Puzzle Collection

One game in particular I'm trying to find right now, and it goes like this:

You are (I assume) an investigator sleuthing around a mansion on an island(?) to find out if the owner of the mansion's death really was caused by a naturally occurred heart attack. I think it is an island because the reason why you cannot leave is because there is an intense storm going on preventing you from leaving. In this mansion there are a set of characters and there is a killer, or at least an unknown force, that is murdering the characters one by one. Each time someone dies an eerie sound (later identified the source as a recording from a hidden phonograph) is played. A major plot point involves the discovery of a small garden where one plant's sign is oddly missing. Oh, and some of the story is told from what looks like either a book or a newspaper-style view, so there is some reading between sections of the game.
I think it's mostly dialogue, and I imagine that's because it's a detective game.

I can give more information, but what was given is pretty much the major/ easily identified parts.

This game has been bugging me for a long time, hope that someone knows this.

This game was on a demo cd that probably came with some magazine, I believe the year was around 1998. It was a 3d third person adventure game, and the demo level was on some kind of island with a beach and a volcano or a mountain in the middle. The player was maybe a friendly looking alien boy or something? There were piggies on the beach strolling around, and if you jumped on them, they would first cry, and then rush at you angry. There were rockets about the size of big fireworks that you could get and fly with them for a short while, from one rock in the water to another, collecting coins or stars or something from the air. If you fell to the water too far from the shore, a big fish would eat you. There was also a big space ship on the island, I think you had to get on that to progress? When the demo level was done, it showed images from the full game, and some later levels were in a space ship. The game was colorful and graphics cartoony. I somehow associate a star with the game, maybe it was in the game's name or desktop icon or both?

I am looking for an old playstation one game I used to love playing. It had only one disc. You controlled mech's and tons of characters on grid based maps and you got to blow up just about everything. Most of the story takes place in Japan. During your downtime between missions you could access the internet, buy stuff from the online shop for items during battles or to upgrade your mechs, or even re-do battles you already done. The screen on it was in a block like fashion like a roleplaying game would have. You would always get to see a picture of the person's face while they were talking as well. Their mouth's moved while they talked for a bit but I don't believe there was any sound. It's been racking my brain to try and find out what this game is called. I remember the cover having mostly brown colored and showing one mech on the front which is the mech you start out with from the main character. You start out in a Japan test facility for the military and eventually the storyline leads you all over the place as the main character is looking for his sister, and story progresses from there. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Trying to remember a Psx game where you woke up and you are threatened by a lizard with a gun, but a man kills the lizard and tells you you need to escape or something. Also another game I played in the arcade was a bloody third person shooter arcade game and it had two joysticks.

I can't remember! There's a game I played that had a man as the character, and I think he was abducted by aliens and trying to make his way back to earth. He is in his pyjamas, and you can click on things to try and find clues. That's all I remember.. But I want to know the name!?
