Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

a very old (windows) racing game ran with windows 95/98:?
Additional Details
These are the main point (i will *bullet* them because this is a lot to read)

1-Boxey cars?
2-Diff colors (red/yellow/pink etc)?
3-grey *Track*
4-*open-ended*?
5-the track had *walls* (you could not get onto the grass)???
6-other cars fully AI controlled
7-could place bombs/oilspills?
8-if you got blown up, would respawn in random area (denoted by a *circular* start area)
9-gaind points by collecting flags?
10-flags were diff colors? (the points depended on the flag color?)
11- Ai's could get flags too and thus beat your score
12-city/county backdrop? (the city would never get any closer???)
13-maps with real world names? (chicago/london etc?)
14-could cross bridges and had *traffic lights*???
15-MASSIVE maps and you could customise them as wel (by typing number for hieght/width etc)???
16-AI would infinite spawn so was *points only* to win?
17 diff game modes/ (flag attack? endless? etc ) i dont THINK there was a t*timed* mode???
18-i only ever remember it being *shareware*? (i never saw it in the shops), so it either came with a PC MAG, or was downloadable? (the copy i had was CD)
19-when monkey island games were still in shops (in the uk, at least in the *bargan buckets*?)
20-weather was *stagnant*? (if it was day it would always be sunny???)
21- (GFX) very basic... grass was flat/no clouds? only thing that looked SLIGHTLY real? was the backdrops?

that's all i can remember... even typing this into google comes up with nothing (i know it exists because my dad remembers how much i annoyed him playing on it)

last clue... i think it was in the years that Civ 1/2 was realeased (or at least still widley played?)

sorry i dont know any more (i think it worked on the DESKTOP *in windowed mode*? i dont think it ran in MSDOS or command prompt?)

Hi, I'm struggling to remember the names of two games that I played in the late 90s. They were for PS2. In the first, you played as a male character. Save points were used for saving. I don't remember there being audio dialogue, I believe there was just dialogue to read. The graphics were kind of blurry, but they were in 3D and there were different dimensions which the character would walk. You walked to destinations and ran into turn based battles. A party could also accompany you. I vaguely remember two bosses in the game: one was a lava monster that would throw fire balls at you and a woman who is fighting with you as an ally. The other boss was a monster that looked like a bee and was on the top of a building or something. You would fight it with a party of three or four. To reach the top of this building you have to walk up rock stairs on the side of a mountain. On the way up these stairs you fight a giant snake monster.When you would die in the game there would be grey screen with a rose lying down and music playing. It was game over unless you had previously saved. I got the game in a four pack series which wouldn't let me play the 2nd through 4th games until I beat the first one.

The second game I can't remember had graphics very similar to first's, but slightly more crisp. This game started in a bar with a group of four male characters that will be played as that begin to fight with other characters when the game begins. I don't remember the fighting style of the game, but I remember that most of the game was fighting. I may be wrong, but I think you moved to different locations only through cut scenes. Anyway, there was some story I didn't understand about a guy stealing the sister of one of the characters you play as in the game. One level in the game that I remember in particular was where you played as one of the characters and ran towards the screen because a large metal hall of security doors were closing and the hall was filling up with water. There were obstacles of barrels, robot enemies, and maybe soldier enemies in your way. Another small thing I remember is a fight on something that was like a space craft flying shallowly above a city street.

Sadly, this is all I can remember from these games, so if anyone can identify what I'm talking about, it would be much appreciated.

Edit: found out the first game was final fantasy 8 and boy was my memory hazy. Regardless, I'm still trying to find the second game.

Hey guys, i used to play this game on the ps1 which was like a ghost/spirit detective game almost like a seance an the main guy was bald and had different skills he could use to like hunt spirits etc, it was quite creepy an i remember one level you got to go on the old hindenburg (nazi zeppelin that crashed) to see what happened blah blah blah love to play it again like, cheers guys

I remember it's a game that a played when i was a kid so i think it's from 98-2005. (Or maybe more).
It was a third person game (it wasn't a shooter)
I remeber that was sort of vampiric/demons game. (I don't know for sure)
I played on PC.
You was a priest that can cast spells like lighting ones.
Please . I don't remember the name of the game.

alright so this game was for ps2. I dont remember a lot but i do remember the character was a boy in armor with a sword. when you would jump and then shove your sword into the ground near trees treasure chests would pop up. you had to get a key to open the next area. there was lava on the ground in some areas and you had to jump over it. there were skeletons that would grab you if you stepped in the dark areas on the ground. there were also caves that sometimes needed a key and sometimes didnt but regardless there was treasure in there. I also remember that if you die a grim reaper does an evil laugh. but thats all i got.

Recently had a flashback to a game played ages ago... mid 90s... fun pc game but not much replay value. 2 player game... you vs AI... or a friend. Graphics were 3D overhead view of map... you and opponent had different characters (bugs/bulldozers,etc) that you had the choice to use... the goal was to make it to other side of screen to score a point. Opponent would send out characters to counter yours and you would try to push your way across screen... anyone remember? I gave up my google search

Hey. Does anyone remember this PS1 game? I played it on a demo disc. It was an arena game where two (maybe more) characters would battle each other in the arena and there would be these structures that you could climb up and at the bottom of the arena there was a thing that you could stand on which would bring the other character tumbling to the bottom. Game was before year 2000, and there was a guy who had green hair in it. I can't remember what the objective was or anything like that, but it was a sort of battle game... except the characters didn't fight each other like in Tekken or anything. If anyone can tell me what this game is called, I swear to god I'll kiss the ground you walk on.

I'm also trying to find an old game. Details aren't that great, but here we go.

?You played as a little boy? I think. I remember the character being blue, for some reason.
?It was almost like you were in candy land, but at one point there were toy soldiers everywhere.
?It's an old game I played when I was probably... 8 or 9? I could of been younger. ( Born 1993 )
?I think it was for the PS1, but I could be very wrong.
?It was a side scroller. You could go left and right.

Sadly, that's all I can remember. Hopefully it's enough.

Edit;
I remember one level being a cave setting, where the roof was made of .. bubble gum? And you could stick yourself in it to avoid traps and monsters.
But it was like.. purple and glittery looking, to give the look of.. sugar? I guess.

Can't remember the name of adventure PC game from late 90's or early 00's. It was about sisters, boy and girl, and their hand made robot. I think they were crashed to near castle by rocket ship which was made of wood and stone... Anyway, it was 3D and top down perspective. You clicked a place and that character you had choosed walked there. (You can play those three characters.) Boy and girl needed to sleep after using them for a while unless you collected some milk, chicken or bananas from the ground. There were some small store houses were you had to solve a puzzle or throw bottles to objects get clues.
Scenario was in the beginning very dark (because was night) and it was near forest. There were castle and small river.
There aren't much things I remember about it. But I remember the shortcut logo on the desktop of Windows...

You as the protagonist have to prove your innocence, and find the real robot... it felt rpg slightly, you could *transform* or *take over* certain robots? you havd to avoid the *police* bots? there was more than one planet...

I'm trying to find a game from the late 90's i think. it was for the original playstation or dreamcast. it was an RPG, there was a playable character that was a demoness, who also was a part of the end boss/antagonist. whenever she did certain abilities there would be an anime cutscene. I think she was the "wings of ??????" ?????? being the name of the final boss. help please, i've been feeling nostalgic lately for video games.
