Alright, been trying to remember a game for ages now.

It was an old DOS game on a floppy. The graphics were rather terrible, I don't remember if anything moved or not, and you went from page to page to navigate. It was a puzzle, fetch-quest kind of game with horror overtones to it.

I remember that wherever you began had a fireplace which might have had piles of skulls around or in it, and you could find a key in it. There was also a river with a dead guy in it that would talk to you, and a creepy tree. There was a field maze that might have been through corn that would lead you in circles.

This game is NOT Shadowgate.
Maybe "Ween - The Prophecy"
Hmm. The style seems right, but it doesn't seem like the right game. Too colorful and, uh, normal. Plus, the game I'm remembering didn't have any movement in it as far as I can recall. Thank you anyway.

Hello people,

I have this game flashing in my mind from time to time, and I can't really remember it.

It's a game for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, in a cartoonish style, made for kids propably.
What I can remember from it is that it was with a lot of mini-games, but you were all the time the same guy, these mini-games were very different from eachother.

One of them, I remember it had something to do with building a brick wall, maybe there was a dog house on the other side of the wall, or by my side of it. Something sometimes was destroying this wall too. I remember throwing bricks.

Another mini-game that I remember was some sort of race, or at least it had cars, but not real cars, like Peugeot or something like this. Something made of wood maybe, with an engine and wheels, that you could call a car if you're a kid. The view was from the top, like old GTA 1 and 2, but still cartoonish, and the camera is not going far from you with speed. I remember that you had to chase somebody, or maybe somebody was chasing you. You were able to throw oil in the track, or maybe nails, something to bother who were chasing you (or maybe who you were chasing were able to do it to bother you :p).

And the other mini-game I remember, the view was again from top, you were walking in a square room, something like a storage room, between crates. I don't remember what you had to do there, maybe find something before time runs out.

I don't remember this game being multi-player, I am almost sure you could only play it alone.

And well, I leave this here in hope somebody knows it. Thanks :)

When i was younger i played a game on the playstation one. It was an rpg where you played as i think, a young boy, who was in a small town/city that was near some water.
I think you found a wooden sword and a shield. Not sure though.
There was a bridge you had to cross that had footprints on it but you could only cross it at night time?
it was a sort of birds-eye, baulders gate type view, looking down on the character.
I would love to know what this game was called if anyone has any idea :')

I'm not the guy.

Hey guys, I'm not so sure if everything I can say is correct but I'll try my best to give as much detail as possible here.

I remember playing a 2D game, and you'd be able to walk left or right, and I remember somewhere in the game, possibly the beginning, if you headed off straight to the left you would hit a beach area, and you could go into the water, but you would die, that is until you found a specific item, for some reason "The fantastic adventures of Dizzy" reminds me alot of the game, but I don't think it is THE game I've been trying to remember.

I know in one specific part of the game you have to use TNT to blow up a wall blocking your path, then an Indian Jones thing *You grab something and a boulder falls down and tries to crush you* happens, I'm pretty sure the character was a simple design, nothing about the game was extremely detailed, I cannot remember the plot either.

I'm sure I played it around 1996 - 1999.

If anyone knows the game I'm thinking of that would be great, I'm going to watch a walkthrough of "The fantastic adventures of Dizzy" just incase it is the game I am thinking of.

Thank you! :)
I found it, it was Treasure island dizzy (Quattro adventure) For the NES.
Thank you all anyway.

Hey everyone! I'm looking for an old-school DOS PC adventure game that I just can't seem to Google up! C:

It was a horror point and click game (pixeled, not 3D) where you were in a hotel investigating your missing family (wife and son I think?). It made people approaching you in the halls seem really creepy, since they were shadowy at first.

One of the horror encounters in the hotel was when your door opened at night and you could see a pair of staring eyes in the dark. You put your covers over your head, but then they were pulled away, and a Sachiko-like (Ring-girl) ghost was there. She then proceeded to vomit a lot of blood on you. :x

The end of the game was where you found a secret spiral staircase to the basement, with a room at the bottom. You looked in the keyhole and saw an eye staring back at you, and when you unlocked it you find your wife and son have been harvested for organs. The owners of the hotel turned out to be killing people and harvesting them...

If anyone knows this game (I just remember the game file was called "Hotel"), I would be really grateful if you could let me know!

There was some sort of puzzle solving game that we played at Primary school around yr 5-6 so about 1999-2002.
It involved moving around a jungle I think but the thing I remember most is travelling around in a helicopter. It was simply a puzzle solving game, you saw the whole scene on the screen. You weren't a particular character and there wasn't one on-screen. It's similar to some of the text games I've seen when looking for it, it seemed to have pretty good graphics for the time - if it helps we also played Super-Solvers: Outnumbered! as well but I can't remember if that was at home or school, at the time we had a Microsoft/Time computer that came with around 30-40 floppy disk games (at home). Please help, it's driving me insane not knowing what this game was!!

2d win95 game with what I think were somewhat 3d sprites. It took place on what I think was similar to a chess board or a grid, and you had to deploy wind-up toys to travel across the board to fight the other sides wind-up toys.
guesses appreciated!
Gearheads maybe

ok, i know exactly what game im looking for (so sorry for asking here) I'm looking for that old space rpg *Albion*, but every copy i have downloaded sofar does not work (it comes up with error box says something like: This program does not work with your version, make sure you know what version you are using *32/64* and then try again... or something (i cant remember as the last version i deleted 2 weeks ago)...

I am running windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit): 6.1, build:7600

thank you

EDIT: what im asking for is (not cracks/downloads if possible... at least not from anything like kickass etc) a site where i can download direct, or with an easy to use emulator from the same site as the game, (also, please note, the above error quote happens whenever i get a (DOSBOX game... although Lands of Valor works perfectly)

2) This game if i remember correctly I played it on 2003 or 2002 but the game released more earlier than that year it's kinda puzzle + arcade game the game is all about one lego figured toy on top of different types of screwdrivers and have to take off all screws by using correct type of screwdriver on some levels there got drill as well, to complete each level u have to clear all screws by taking them off but there will be enemies walking around to not let u take off screws if u hit to enemies u die, u just have to go around and take screws...

Thank you very much guys... thats all I remember abt this 2 games

The problem is not the game but your operating system is to new.

There a 2 solutions, first try to run it in compatibility mode, right click on the exe file, properties, Compatibility and than select something like windows 98 or XP.

Second method is to run a virtual operating system using Virtualbox or MS Virtual PC (both are free to download). But you will need a copy of the OS you want to run.
