I've been looking for a game for a few hours now, it's a point-and-click mystery/escape game for kids. It doesn't have any gore, blood, murder(i think) in it, basically you have to escape the mansion or find something in that mansion. I can't remember clearly, the last time I played this game was more than a decade ago. It's a PC game and you start off in a room(I think it's your room) and you have to find clues and items to open certain doors in the house, under the staircase doors, behind the kitchen shelf door, I also remember salami being in the kitchen... I just remember this game being for kids and it's horror-free and it's a cartoon-style 2d game. Thanks a lot! <3

Maniac Mansion?
Night of the Meteor?

Trying to remember the name of a ps1 game I used to play as a kid. If I remember correctly, it was a 2 player side scrolling scifi game where one player could shoot and the other could only block. Thanks!

No it wasn't. :( thanks tho! In the game you can't see other people, and it's completely a first person-view game. :)

Wait I think it's not in a mansion, it's either a mansion or a castle and there was even a part where you'd find a piece of paper stuck in the wall(i think) and it led you to find a hidden passage in the walls or floor..

New to the forum, lots of interesting stuff here. I am looking for a game that I remember playing, looking back it seems like it was very similar to civilization, but it definitely wasn't civilization. It does seem like there was a long period of time or ages that the game covered, but I am not positive on that. I know there was a separate city screen, and you would exit the city screen and move around the map. You could make new cities. Combat possibly happened on a separate screen as well, maybe. I know you could build things in your cities, walls and so on, and maybe upgrade them as well. It probably would have been a "value" game when I played it, around 1997 or 1998. Any help in the search would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm looking for a game, late 90's to early 2000's I'd say.

Played it on a PC.

I only have vague memories and flashes of this one. It was sort of an adventure/sci-fi game. It was a 3rd person game.

One thing I can remember was that you could wield pretty cool weapons, such as a big wooden bat-like pole (maybe it was a sledge), and the strongest memory I have was that there was an event where you would fight a bear near a waterfall (although I could be mistaken about the waterfall but there was a lot of nature around).

But I can also remember guns, such as laser guns. This was such a long time ago and i was probably around 10 back then. Feelin' pretty nostalgic right now, used to play it at my friend's house, thought it was a cool game for its time back then.

Please help with this one!

Hello guys.
I'm looking for an isometric rpg or jrpg sadly can't say the exacty genre because when I was a kid I didn't paid too much attention to it. It was turn based if I remember correctly maybe little similar to Gorky 17. In this game you were starting with female character (I think) and you could play with a team contained 3 characters (you + 2 followers). I think one of character was a zombie or ghoul who was using fist unlike others who used guns or swords. I can't describe the world but I think it was very mixed with some cyberpunk themes.

The other game I played back then:
-Commandos Behind enemy lines
-Fallout 1&2
-Ice Wind Dale
-Diablo 1
-Jagged Alliance
-Nox

So like the guy above I think this game may be from late 90's or early 2000's.

Sorry for my bad english.

Septerra Core ( http://www.giantbomb.com/septerra-core-legacy-of-the-creator/3030-1156/images/ )

You can buy the game from GOG.com for 6$ (so WIN7 friendly) ( http://www.gog.com/game/septerra_core_legacy_of_the_creator )

(That's one fine list of games! Good taste :) )

Ok... this is going to be a hard one. Older pc game.. Think it might be a smaller Indie title.... It's side scroller, You play as a mutant that can pee on things in a post apocalyptic world. You use meat to upgrade yourself. You can use certain guns to jump a bit higher.... It's one of those games where you control movement with the keyboard but shoot with the mouse, side scrollers... ANY help would be amazing!

Maybe Call to Power 1 or 2? They are quite similar to Civ but the combat happens in it's own window even though it's still automated. Although the first one came out in 1999 so it might be something different. Alpha Centauri might be another game that would fit your description but it also came out in 1999.

I believe the game I am thinking of was for the PS2 or that generation.
It was a 3D beat em up kind of game set in Japan or the like. The only things I can remember are that at one point you are fighting some people in a subway with 2 or 3 of your friends and eventually you are fighting some kind of robots. I also remember is being really difficult if that's any help.

Hey!

I've been searching for this game like 4 years already but I couldn't find it, it's probably not really popular since it's a windows xp cd-rom game.

It's a futuristic game. It's a first person game. I'm not sure but I think you can also switch to third person.
You aim with the cursors and shoot with spacebar, whenever you aim at an enemy there is a lock on thing and your shot would become homing rockets. You could use the mouse for some strategy stuff like, teleportating and summoning.

The game is about some dude in a machine with 4 guns (you) who can teleport to a certain amount of distance depending on the amount of 'energy' you got. You can summon tanks (one of them being called a jaguar I believe), airplanes, choppers and many more depending on how much you've unlocked and how much 'energy' you have. After you summon them you can also switch places between the the main machine and the summoned machines.

When you've switchen side with a summoned machine your main machine would go autopilot and you could drive/fly away with your summoned machine by using your cursors and you would also have some kind of crosshair who would also lockon and shoot homing rockets.

You would fight another machine, some kind of red star who can also summon their own machines. Thus there would be an all-out war in the map. Later on there would be more enemies like a yellow version of the red star etc.

The goal of the game is to teleport to a teleporting place to escape with your whole troop and go to the next level.

It was a mix of using strategie skills and first person shoot skills.

It was such an epic experience but my parents threw it away. I do admit it did contain some really possible disturbing images in the intro. You saw a man being turned into/ merged with a machine. I believe I saw his arms cut of and reconnected on the machine, his upperhalf was naked, he got a mask attached that covered half his face. That machine he got merged with was the one mentioned before who could teleport. There was lots of electricity, flashy images and ltos of screaming. The first time I was so scared looking at it I kind of froze.

I remember alot but somehow couldn't come up with the name since I couldn't read back then...I've always believed I saw something like urban war thing or urbansoft? I don't know anymore.

That is all I know for now, I would appreciate your cooperation and thanks in advance!
Epic game was epic...

UPDATE:
I found the game again! I just closed my eyes, started to recall details from my youth and suddenly knew the name again even though I couldn't read at the moment!
Damn I'm awesome. The name is Urban Assault by the way, it was so much joy!

Thanks for your time!

Hey guys, I have three games I remember from my early childhood that I simply don't know the names to, and was hoping you could help.

The first one is a bit vague. I played it before I could even read (I was on the computer by the age of 3), and it was likely released prior to 2000. It was a PC game that was about dinosaurs, and all I can remember is that it was hard as shit, you had a birds eye view, it certainly was not for my age group, and it seemed open world where you would encounter dinosaurs and fight them, though I'd always lose.

The second one was a Playstation game that was much like twisted metal, but I have yet to find it online. I know that there are only a few games like it, but so far I simply can't find any that is the right one. I know it had a dump truck as one of its cars, so maybe that helps a bit. There was also a ski resort level.

The third and final, which has been bugging me, is another early PC game that couldn't have been published past 2005, and it was a game about 18 wheelers and you basically did nothing but drive to where you needed to go, and that's all you did. You were racing for times against other trucks, and it wasn't the 18 wheels of steel series.

I have a game I played when I was younger but cant think of a year. It was either on the original Playstation or the Super Nintendo. The details about the game are random but you could get the guys hair cut to have different abilities specifically I remember a Mohawk that you could throw and it could stick in the wall and you could jump off of it to jump higher. I think if you got hit your hair falls off and you have to find more. Another thing is a level where you have to Run/chase after the bad guy I think hes in a limo, anyways you run along a road jumping cars and you to beat the level you have to reach him before sunset. I keep trying to recall more about it and maybe a taxi has something to do with it but not sure.
Thanks

I'd love some help please. The game I can't remember was a futuristic body skating game. You raced others while in a suit which had wheels on the bottom. It was for PS2 and I have been unable to find it on google or anywhere else. I played it as a kid and loved it, and now I can't find it.
