Hi, I've been trying to find this game the past several hours. I played this game as a child, so it's a child game.
It's a detective, strategy, third person game. You're on a mission to find something/discover truth. You cannot use WASD keys, it's strictly point and click. I believe you can touch and examine objects by clicking on them with your mouse. I believe one of the scenes was you're outside, in the moonlight (the outside looks so wonderful, you can see the full moon, the dark blue night sky and stars). I believe you're outside a mansion and you click on the mansion to get inside. Another scene, you're outside again and you're beside a river, or a park with a river. It's still night time. The objective is to get items and mix them with the items in the inventory to get to different places.
I played this game as a child, so I believe the game was made in 1999-2005. I bought it in Kazakhstan, and I'm not sure whether it was in Russian or English (the text). Once again, it's a child game.
I was reminded of this game when I watched this video. One of the songs played in this video is one of the soundtracks that is played outside that mansion area that I've mentioned! You can skip to 0:10-0:25 part in the video.

Whoever finds it, is incredible. My childhood thanks you.

Alien Incident looks so similar to the game! The slotbar/inventory and the graphics look very much alike. But unfortunately, it is not it! Can I bother to ask you to try to find the game again?
I dunno, man. I'd take another look at it. A lot of my searching leads me back to this game (Alien Incident) and the song that plays outside in the moonlit area is similar to the one featured in the video you linked.

EDIT:
http://www.giantbomb.com/point-and-click/3015-75/games/?page=1

I've been looking through this list to see if anything matches more closely, but there's not much from the timeframe you provided ('99-'05) so perhaps the game is either a little earlier than that or even later. Maybe you'll find it on this list as it seems pretty comprehensive. Be warned though, 19 pages of titles await you.

Ok so. i have an almost perfect picture of the games im looking for in my mind but i dont know if i can describe them well enough. They both are old pc games. i think on a demo disc or one was at least. The first one was a space themed side scroller that had you in a ship. you would go by and try to avoid/blast the ships that were comeing twards you. the backround was always a black star filled {i think} space and the bottom, maybe the top was always brown rock. I think the ship wound upgrade too as well as i think if you died, you would start from the beginning. The second one was a vertical rail scroller similar to the first one but instead of in space, you were on a planet flying above the ground. You would have to destroy other ships and some buildings. The most iconic thing about it was its death screen. When you died, sad type few tone music would play and a 8 bitish sequence would show where your jet would be falling out of the sky and a small moment where you would see the pilot in a jetfighter outfit would show before showing the wreckage on the ground. the whole scene had a yellow color to it as well i think. These games mean alot to me and if anyone can help me find atleast one of them, i would be really happy. These games were played from discs on an old grey PC running windows 95 or close to it. I also think that you had to shoot and dodge asteroids in the space one too. If i remember correctly.

Just trying to find this game. Been searching for years.

I am going crazy thinking about it. I have many more details if it will help anyone locate the name.
PLEASE help me look for this game!

I've had trouble finding this one even after searching through lists of "all" games from the 90's.

This is a mac/pc game(not sure if it was available for both, but I played on mac between 1997-2003) that was an educational dinosaur/paleontology game. It started with getting inside this raptor robot that allowed you to travel around and collect bones and talk with scientists. The scientists were real people so the clips were actual video mixed in with the graphics. You spent the whole time I think with a control panel to travel to different locations.

It was all a bunch of puzzles. You would travel to the desert and have to use dynamite, shovels and then trowels and smaller instruments in the right order with certain sediments and rock layers to get to the fossils. There was a geologist who would help you with this and teach you about different types of rocks. Then you would take the fossil to the lab and another scientist would give you tools to clean up the fossils. Then you would have to put together the skeleton like one of those sliding block puzzles.

Please help me find this game! I never got to finish it, and I can't find it anywhere. All the dinosaur games I've seen, or had suggested to me are missing that the game I used to play had video clips of real people/scientists who would help you solve the puzzle. And I can't remember the name of the raptor/robot you were inside of.

EDIT: It is not 3-D Dinosaur Adventure.

Hi guys! There was a PS1 game I played during year around 2000-2002, it was a platform left to right game, and it's in 3D graphic, 3 characters(if I'm not mistaken) to choose, 2 guys in Warrior and Muscleman, a woman not sure whether she is an archer or sorcerer, and the game was fighting those monsters with weapon, the thing i remember the most is when the game start, the woman will be like 'Yooohooo'. Hope somebody can find out what's the game with my limited source from my memory. Thanks!

OK, it's not an old game but I played it a while ago. You're in a small group and the girl is kid-napped. At one point you go underground to help change water flow or something along those lines as monsters are breeding in the area. Like pokemon while travelling you can be randomly attacked. That's about all I can remember other than stopping off at a cabin area at one point and seeing a cut-scene of the person that you're pursuing. Thanks much!!

It was an older computer game

had human creature and monsters civilizations you could play as

one of my favorite creatures to play as was these cyclops looking green monsters who had plant towers you could build that shot at other creatures

as humans you could recruit stronger heroes from other civilizations from inns or taverns

I am pretty sure the game cover had an egyptian looking lady with wings in the center

I made this account just for this question so,
I'm looking for this "Rpg" 2d game with a topdown view where you could be a Warrior or a Rogue or a Wizard i think there was another class but i don't remember i always played the Wizard he had a cloak that pretty much covered his entire body and you could summon raptors and like bigfoot as conjurations i believe it was on vista OS i have a few memories that may help label it that I'll put
1: There were like little puddles (in like a fountain i think..) that you could use to heal or refill your mana?
2: I think you started the game in a room with a mirror? i don't really remember
3: Someplace further in the game there you were like talking with a blue guy that was a palette swap of the rogue class i think..
4: You could level up your conjurations with skill points and such and some conjurations were Npcs that were from other summoners that went insane i think
I remember "Alot" of stuff from it in like separate memories of playing the game and I'm wondering can someone PLEASE give me the name of it.. I wanna play it again.

I remember an old (flash?) game where there were a few missions and it was military based. It was a top down view. Each movement/turn moved your troops/tanks and you were given options which would make your units move in a certain way. Some ways would get you killed or kill of some units. I can't remember the name of this game and it has been bugging me for a while. There might have been a sequel to it aswell. I remember one mission your troops are moving down a dirt road and you are given the option to move your troops into trees on either side of the road, at which point enemies come down the road and you can surround them. Also, there was a mission in a city where you had to defend the city while the enemy send in troops to attack it. Can someone please help?

Whenever I think back to my days as a little kid, playing on a Mega Drive, my mind always comes up with a game, where all I can remember of it is that there are 2 sections to it: the first is side scrolling 2d, set in a city I believe, and near the end of that first level, a man pokes out of a manhole, or you might jump down it, not entirely sure. The next bit is what really stuck with me though, because it was like a minigame before the next level, which worked a bit like that game "Race the Sun", where you're flying forwards, getting faster, and dodging obstacles.
It was probably on the Megadrive, as thats the console I actually owned back then, and I vaguely remember the cartidge, but it could have been a SNES game, or even a Sega Saturn game.
The obstacles were low poly shapes, kinda like Starfox on the SNES. Been trying to find this game for a very very long time, so if it rings a bell with anyone, that would be great.

One more question. There was a game (2-D). In the late 1990's, it was a PC game, and the main character only attacked with Yo-Yo's. Can you point out to me that game? I think I've seen that character in Nintendo..
Well, if Nintendo, then it wasn't on PC.

Yo-Yo used in Star Tropics for the NES. Definitely not late 90s, probably late 80s to early 90s...
The game was released for PC in 1996. It was later released for the Wii several years ago. I played the PC version in the 1990s.

Hi there,

So I have been looking for this game for a while now, It was a 3D game very primitive though, you know the kind the first animal crossing had. It was a fantasy game and you played as a wizard (If I'm recalling correctly)the first level was in a grassy area which had shrubs and palisades around and the main grunt enemies of the level were spiders and I think some sort of daemon knights. I remember the box it came in (Like most other 90's - Early 2000 games) It was purple with the main protagonist on the front surrounded by I believe a princess and someone else with enemies coming from either side behind them and It also had a castle in the background which I believe to be the castle from the first level. I'm not sure I was only 5 or 6 at this point and I wasn't a very good gamer I will post anymore developments I make and help would be greatly appreciated. after a 5 year search it has only just occurred to me to do this.

Thanks for reading the chunk by the way.

:)
