Okay, so It's been so freaking long I can't hardly remember anything about this game.
From what I remember, it was on the PC. It was a side scrolling game sort of like Prince of Persia, set in middle ages. I remember that the main character goes to the sewers of the city, where he encounters puddles of slime on the ground, they's extend a tentacle of slime and attack the player (I believe he's armed with a dagger), and if you tried to jump over them, they'd extend to the roof, engulfing you, stay there for a moment, then sink back to the ground revealing a pile of your bones. Additionally, there were crushing ceiling traps, pitfalls, and other things... I think that the character's health is indicated with clovers? Also, a line at the end of the game sticks out in my head, where the villain says "Prepare to Die" and your character, snarky as he is says "Oh, prepare to die yourself."

These are the only details about this game I can remember.

*EDIT* I have been googling the hell out of this for three months. You guys are my last hope.
Dying. Halp!
The only thing I can think of is Dragon's Lair. I've never played it, but it fits some of your description.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cc9Hjdd6q1o
That's not it. But it is the right kind of style. Sometimes I'm not certain if I'm just making this thing up. In which case I need to pursue game development... I can also say that it's not any of the Dark Castle games, thought those games kind of ring bells, too. Most game searches I've done bring up a whole bunch of point-and-click games like Kings Quest and Broken Sword, but from what I can recall, this was just a 2D "Cinematic Platformer"

I think the villain is the Earl or Duke or something... I can't remember the overarching plot.

there's a really old pc game i played about 15 years ago where you start as an old lady and you walk on tiles. clues are given as to the directions you are supposed to walk, one wrong step and it's game over. can't remember the name.

The first one is a futuristic racing game where you pilot some sort of cristal like, or at least I believe so, hover bikes. Not much to say other than most of the bikes had different color schemes, it's a racing game with a futuristic theme, you can't get more simple than that. Also, most of the racing tracks were on space stations and such.
Heh, pretty sure this isn't it, but it reminds me of F-Zero, even though those aren't bikes.

The second one is a platforming game where you play as a red squirrel that collected nuts I believe, it had bad 3D graphics, horrendous controls and terrible camera, making it really damn hard. You started in a small platform on the ocean, and had to jump to the other platforms in front of you until you reached a bigger island that had a tower in which you had to reach the top. That's the best I could ever go because of how hard the game was due to the camera and the controls.
ARGH! I know! I know this game! I have it on a disc! I just can't remember the name right now. I'll try to find the disc and report back.

EDIT: I found it, but it may not be what you're looking for after all. It starts out on a pirate ship, which I had confused with a platform on the ocean. And it's not 3D.
It is however a platforming game with a red squirrel that collects things, not the best graphics, horrendous controls and a terrible camera. (I remember the camera not being centered on the character at all times.)
Anyway, the game I was thinking about is Skunny. If that's not it, sorry to have held your hopes up.

I used to play it on my windows 98. I can't remember much about it but you could travel to different locations around the world and you had to find a guy and put him in prison. that's pretty much all i can remember about it.

It'd be great to find this game as it was one of my favourites
It sounds like one of the Carmen Sandiago games.

Hi, I was looking for this game, if you could help me I'd be grateful, thanks:

-Mafia game
-Real time
-Had basic 3D graphics (not 95' graphics but it's at least 3 years old)
-Had cutscenes
-Had a campaign
-You could buy bars, casinos, etc.
-It was set during the prohibition in the US
-There was regular currency and black currency that you could launder using a button
-You could upgrade the weapons of your mafia members
-There were policemen in horses that were hard as hell to kill
-Also, most criminals could resist machine-gun fire for several seconds (not dying immediately)

Any ideas? I've been really struggling finding this game... Thanks!

Hello everyone, There is a game i used to play on the PS1 but cant remember the name and i didnt get far enough in the game to remember allot of it but i remember the game was set in a "hercules" time frame, and i think gameplay was set at 3rd person view (the kind where you observe your character from behind him?) i remember one of the first things you do is take a rout to a villiage, along that rout is some mud that you have to go through and a monster attacks you. after that you make your way to the villiage and i think you fight a giant. all i remember is that id run around the village trying to keep my distance from the giant and try to kill it. I think the villiage had a river running through the middle of it with a bridge to cross over it and you had to find a way to get the water running again?..... I wish I had more information about the game but its extremely fuzzy.... the only other information i can remember (that probably wont help much) is that you go to this area that has a sign, you read it and decide to take the path to the village. i dont remember the start up screen or most of how the game was set up but I am mostly positive its on PS1 and its not "hercs adventures".
Oh my fucking God! Thank you sooo much! I love you! I was searching for that game for years! You made my day! :)

Comes to mind

Pax Corpus (1997)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlXZ-sz3CIU

but the epidemy plot reminds me of the Aeon Flux movie, so it could had been

Aeon Flux (for the PSX)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4FKiFMo5Z8

but it was cancelled! ...maybe you read about a game that ultimately it was never released. It doesn't seem to be the PS2 version, it is not that dark to have blood sprayed..
Thanks a lot, I think it was pax corpus, but watching the video it looks much less interesting than I remembered. LOL thank you anyway. it is also possible I was confusing details from different games

Well, it isn't Skunny, but I also played this one when I was a kid and coudn't remember the name even if my life depended on it, so it's not all lost.

But I still want to know the other two.

Hi there, hoping someone can help me out, can't for the life of me remember the name of this game. Unfortunately I don't remember much about it either.

Console: PS1 or 2

From what I do remember you started of as a red car, which could talk and you could talk to other cars. Possibly an adventure game with upgradeable/customisable cars?

It's not "Putt-Putt", or Cars.

For the first, have you tried the Jet Moto series?

for example

Jet Moto 3 (1999)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp8IdiZyjTs

there are 3 in the series with many different stages on each of them.

Hi, im looking for this game I played around 5 years ago.
Its a browser game. A fighting game wherein you create a fighter and watch it fight to death.
yes, you can only watch it fight. you don't control it.
Characters are in chibi form and you can find items by after matches
where you can equip to your character so it can use it (randomly) in a match.
Each item has a diff attack pattern. Like shurikens can make you attack up to 5 times per turn
but with smaller damage. While hammer gives a lot of damage and can stun.
its a simple game in the browser without quests or anything, all you do is
train your fighter and defeat the rest.

Sooo.. I have two games I'm looking for?

First one is one my husband remembers from being a kid.
- Black and white
-Snes or Sega
- first person view
- going through maze/ dungeon
- monster would pop up and you would fight it.
I have already asked and gone through everything I can think of, and it is NOT Dragon warrior/Quest, any of the ultimas, wizardry, zelda, gauntlet legends, please help!

Second game is for myself. My friend sent me a rom of a game when I was a teen and I would love to know the name as it seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth.
- Main character is an anthropomorphic wolf in green armor and uses an ax
- for either Nes, Snes, or Sega
- Exodus Ultima kind of graphics
- All the characters are animals
- The fighting system was kinda unique with uses like a pie chart?
- there were multiple towns, but they were far between.

Any help with either of these would be great?
