I remember a game for the PlayStation 2 where you would fly around in a space ship shooting aliens and saving men and defending a base( you never went into space just flew around near the land), and once you got near a guy to save and landed near them they would hook onto the ship and you could drop them off on these spots where they could get into a tank or and anti air tank. You also had to defend certain areas from waves of aliens. I think you got upgraded ships as you went through the game or you just upgraded one ship. But i somewhat remember the last mission you had to defend 4 generators from swarms of aliens. Some aliens where ground units and some where flying units.
That REALLY sounds like Defender.

That it omg thank you.

I'm not sure what platform but think it was a ps2 turn based game there are a few features which I remember which are:
You could hatch eggs and find them
Monsters could evolve
There was something like a four section battlefield
At one point u get attacked by something that looks like yourself and then u r beaten and have to fight 4 boss creatures separately
Uh...I almost want to say Poison Pink (PS2) or Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1/PSP).

But the monster bit reminds more of Monster Rancher and/or Digimon.

Hi everybody.

I have now spent the last 8 hours looking for this game, which has been the culmination of an on and off again search for many a year. I don't remember much about the game as I only rented it at a video store near my friends house for one weekend in the late 90's early 2000's. All I can remember is that it was a fantasy based game, either in an action-adventure or RPG genre. I think it was released on the Playstation (though I could be wrong).

The only thing I can remember at all was parts of the character creation (You would think character creation on the PS1 would be easy to find), you had all the usual Macguffins such as name and gender but you also received cards (fortune cards maybe, maybe something to do with a horoscope), which the game gave to you randomly (apparently) and were able to choose your characters personality, such as happy or angry, these determined how your character responded when reading signs or talking to NPC's. The one that I remember choosing was silent (which basically meant that the only thing your character ever uttered was a somewhat passive aggressive ellipses).

I vaguely remember the art style being slightly cartoonish, and one of the first areas being a forest. However, memory is not a reliable witness and I would not stand by any of this in court.

Edit: Can't remember if the characters were 2D Sprites or 3D Meshes. The camera was a Isometric style.

I appreciate any help you can provide, even if it is just another clue that I can start tracking down.

I don't even know why I want to play this game again (As I played it for a day a long time ago). I think it is because I can still remember the tortured angst of the silent character, the amount of dark emotion when he replied "...".

There's this one uber hard game I played on the NES a long time ago. It was sort of like a dungeon crawler game with the top-down view perspective. The first room you started off in had kind of like an indentation or large dent on the tiled floor, and if you walked on it, a worm-like monster would come out and eat you. If you got past the first room, you were introduced to a hallway full of arrows that would shoot out either in intervals or when you stepped in a particular location. Needless to say, I didn't get passed the hallway of arrows, so I dunno any more beyond that. I think the cartridge looked like a wizard was on the front, but I can't be too sure.

I wonder if anyone can figure that one out.
Why does this sound so familiar?
You play a wizard (like with long beard and robe) and fight with a sword?
First real enemy was an orc?
But what I am thinking of is isometric 3/4 view, not top down.
I can't remember the name of it though. It's buried in with like over 100 other games I own. *sigh*

That's right!
My older brother got to the Orc, but I never did.
I just can't remember the name of that game! :(
The game I was thinking of was The Immortal, which is also known as Wizard of the Immortal.
Not sure if this is the game.

Hey ladies and gents,
I'm trying to remember a game that was from my early childhood. It was on the Playstation 1 I believe and you were this wierd looking green lizard/frog man with a pony tail. It was 2D and when you were in areas with enemies you could "pray" and take over the enemies body. The game got kinda big because around 2002 area they made a PS2 version where he had a side kick that jumped like a frog and they likes green soda?? Please help me, this has been a gap in my mind for years now.

You can enter different houses and i also remembers that there's funny talking guy who talks about BALLOON (like Jar Jar voice)..
Think it's something like 1st chapter of a game and when the next chapter is about to start and REAL adventure of this game I've stopped playing cause i was young and stupid...

Hello, i remember playing a game about 6 or 5 years ago.
You play there as a blue alien that eats or does some stuff to some thing and than he can transform into some other alien forms. like lava or something like that. Game graphics are like an animation movie.
I remember downloading an demo of this game in mofunzone.
Does anybody know this games name?

P.S. The game started whit the blue alien falling down from the space or something.

This is an old game for the Mac...around 1998 to 2002 I think. You play as a character who is always moving left to right (he changes directions when he hits the wall) and you have to climb a brick tower by jumping at the right time. You could make yourself go twice as fast, and it had great music. All 2D.

I appreciate the help, but unfortunately, this is not it. The Character can only jump the same way every time. And the character never slows his pace, unless you click like a sort of double speed button. He reminds me of Mario as a builder going up a construction site.

There was a game that came out a while back when 3D graphics a were emerging in PC games.
It was an RTS in which players would manage tribal villages and attack other villages on a playing area shaped like a dome and the units moved around on it like a mini-planet.

You control a shaman and use spells like tornadoes, meteor showers, and stuff like that.
Guard towers could be built and a barracks to send troops. I think some of the troops could shoot fireballs.

Does this game sound familiar to anybody? I played a demo of it off of an old PC Gamer demo disc and can't for the life of me remember it was called.

Well, hello everybody. I'm here because of Google :p
This is kind of desperate, but it has been in my head for some weeks.
I am looking for this game's name, but I just realized that I can not remember :(
But what I can do is to recall what the game looked like when I played, so I hope you guys can help me to figure out.
First, it was a Sega Dreamcast game:
1.- You were a teenager (maybe a pizza boy, because of the outfit, don't know).
2.- You were in some manor (or a castle, It was really big and gray)
3.- You could move only via D-pad and some buttons.
4.- In each room you had to evade the attacks of some ghouls, giant worms, a witch, some weird puppet, and that's all I remember because I could never go further in the game.
5.- Its animation was goofy, kind of Invader Zim-esque.
Please, help. This is kind of driving me nuts (not really, but I'd really apreciate your help).
Greets.

I used to play this game, It was a 2D Action/Adventure RPG. You had a map, and it was the style where to move, you had to click on a directional arrow. You could find treasure from killing monsters, and then sell/buy armor or weapons from a player made auction. I think you might have had energy as well. Combat was turn based, and you just clicked an "ATTACK" Button

This game is on PC. Any Ideas?
