I have a few games I remember playing but don't know their names. I have played these on Win95.

1. A platform game in which you must help a balloon dog jump on colored balloons over a starry background.

2. A top-down puzzle/adventure game, the type in which all objects move as the player does (you move 1 block, enemies move 1 block too). I distinctly remember the music to have been Mozart's Turkish march.

I think the first one is called balloon fight. follow this link and scroll down about an inch on the scroll bar.

I'm looking for a game. I think it was probably PS1 era. It was a turn based (or active-time-battle) RPG where you control 3 or 4 characters in your party. However, you had more characters total than would fit in your party. At some point, (possibly the final boss?), you had to control 2 parties of characters in the same turn based battle while you fought this gargantuan monster. Each group could target different spots on the enemy and you could switch between parties.

I've been looking for this for so long that I'm not even sure anymore if it ever existed.
Sounds like Final Fantasy 7? You control three people in your group, but there are much more then that, including two optional characters. At the end when you fight the boss you use all of your characters split into two teams?
Thanks for the attempt but no, not Final Fantasy VII. I'm very certain that it actually wasn't any of the Final Fantasies as I've played them enough to remember them.
What does the final boss look like if you remember lol. Your description is about 50% of most RPG's out there lol Grandia, ff, tales and so on lol

The only thing I can really remember is that the enemy was really, really tall and huge. And I don't think my description matches Grandia or any of the Final Fantasies. Normally, you'd control a group of 3 or 4 characters in turn based battles. But for this boss fight you would control 2 different groups in the same battle. One of the battle commands was to switch the camera over to the other group so you could attack, like, the back of the monster or something...

I have been getting crazy trying to remember this game. I even had a look at a tanking of more than 1000 games on the hope of remembering the name

If I do not remember wrong it is a pc game and it is set in medieval/phantasy context.
It is a third person game and I believe there were only melee weapons.
There is some sort of coup d'etat in the beginning of the game.
The main character which is some sort of guard, is then injured and cursed with a disease which slowly turns him into a monster. After you have been infected you are allowed to use some special moves but when you do so, your transformation in this darkness creature is accelerated. When transformation is complete you lose.
I remember playing it a long long time ago, so I think it's a game developed at some point in the 90s.

CAn somebody help??????????????

Thank you very much, this is really driving me nuts!

Could be Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9mVBQQi_YA

Hi,

First, thank you very much for the reply! Unfortunately it is not Soul Reaver, I am almost sure it's a pc game. Also, the main character is a city guard or something, which is poisoned during an attack to the city. After that he has this disease that will transform him into a monster eventually. He has to find a cure while at the same time fight someone who is trying to take over the city.

Thanks again though for trying!!! Anyone else has any idea what game I talking about??
I have been searching for this game as well and I'm glad to see I'm not the only person. The only other information I can give is that I remember the Intro cut scene mentioning the wilderness around the city where the monsters reside (the type of monster you will eventually turn into) and that despite the danger, people sometimes go out there to gather something, and this was one of the ways you got injured during an attack. Also, the city knows of the transformation and are hunting you down to kill you before you can transform. other then that, all I remember from the game was the beginning, a woman is letting you stay in her home cuz I believe she found you and brought you in, but before you progress, some city guards begin banging on the door, so you have to escape.

If there is anyone who can give a few ideas on what this game is, I'm sure both of us would greatly appreciate it.

(so far, its not Legacy of Kain, and it's not Nightmare Monsters 2)

I'm trying to remember the names of a few PC games from the late 90s (maybe early 2000s even, but pretty sure it was even before then)

1. You played as some sort of greek hero and had to fight mythological beasts. The graphics weren't exactly "good" but they weren't like, first nintendo bad. If you look up the are you afraid of the dark pc game, it kinda had graphics like those (essentially the "photographs of people" visual look)
I vaguely remember that if you die, you would go to some sort of "heaven" and Zeus or someone similar would be like "you messed up lol but we'll give you another chance"

2. For some reason I am almost convinced this game has the acronym ROT or ROTC but I haven't been able to find anything...I don't really remember anything about the game. I think it was a side scroller adventure type game. and it had absolutely incredible log in screen music that i've been trying to find for a long time. and for some reason I'm pretty sure it was called Roll of thunder or Roar of thunder or maybe cry of thunder (but none of these things popped up when I searched)

3. This one was a space shooter type game where you controlled a ship and you could maneuver up, down, left, or right in 3D space. I don't really remember much else but it wasn't like asteroids, it was an actual 3d game.
would #1 be Act Raiser? and I may know #2 but I'm not sure, were you fighting cat people in it called the Mryaal?

I have 3 games on mind all of it I played 11.12 years ago all of it are PC games:
1- Simulating game
building dinosaurs farm, you can grow Theropoda dinosaurs and Sauropodomorphs dinosaurs and they can attack each other if you don't protect the Sauropodomorphs. you can proliferate them by eggs .

2-FPS game, you can choose your character sex, you play on a spaceship fighting aliens, I remember one room in the game that has sensors guns that when you enter it, the guns automatically shoots you, you can exit the spaceship but you need equipments if you exited without it you die.

3-FPS game, your first weapon is scythe I think, you fight skulls heads on the beginning of the game then the game gets harder and you fight different creatures the one that I remember was wizards, you can revive yourself by collecting apples.

I'm sorry for my English I'm not a native speaker, and I hope you help me find these games
Who knows anything about any of these games ? I'm willing to give away 10$/game to the person who does help me find these games :) it's a total of 30$ guys please help me <\3

This is driving a group of us mad! It's a game from the Apple 2 or 2GS
- Side scroller with smooth animation (side 2D view), not text based. There was orange coloured ground, the characters were completely white coloured. You could climb ladders/stairs and go around to different physical levels on the screen
- The setting was ancient times (roman gods etc...)
- Four main characters (2 males and 2 females). You chose one character to play and you start from different parts of the map depending on the character you pick. One of the males may have had wings
- You walked around and went into different houses/stores and you can interact with other characters and choose to talk to them, ignore them, take something etc...
- The goal was to get to "heaven"? there were these big gates and the goal was to unlock them
- It was likely published before 1986
-Not Ultima or KingsQuest

Hey guys, nice to meet you all.
I had only a demo of this game, so I may not be very precise here.
- This game was a real-time strategy one, sci-fi themed (like Starcraft);
- Your units were (by default) colored blue;
- Your enemies' units were colored green;
- Neutral resources/units (using the word "resources" because one of the demo's maps, one in the snow, had this huge generator) were colored white;
- I can remember 2 maps, one in the snow, other in the desert;
- You had one-time "special" attacks, like an air strike, amongst other things;
* It was a PC game (probably an exclusive).

Thanks in advance, for your help!
Bumping it again. Can anyone remember that one?
Maybe State of War? I played it too a long time ago :)

Not sure if its come up as i haven't been able to read through all 476 pages of this thread.
the game i'm looking for is a old play station game I believe, I haven't played it in so long but i remember in the first level you play as a yellowish man in a blue suit and you have to break out from a prison(?) of some sort, the next thing i remember doing after is going inside a house and having to choose a hiding place like a small cupboard under a sink to escape from a guard/drone/robot or something from finding you due to the earlier prison break of some sort.
any images to go alongside a name would greatly help as I've completely forgotten the name of the game.
please PM me if you know of this game as it's driving me crazy thinking of what it could be.

There was a game I played where you're a little red power ranger looking guy and you're on a space station and you're basically going round shooting guys up. It was a 2D side-scroller sort of game with the usual power-ups and weapons ect. It was a part of this thing that one of my family friends had installed on my computer when I was younger called something like "20 games". I think it was a bunch of game demos. We were using either Windows 98 or 2000 I think. Also in this pack there might have been a tarzan game of some description although I might be making that up completely.
Thanks guys :D

Can someone help me?
I remember a late 90's PC game (I played it using windows 95). It was a 1st person RPG, where you were a knight-to-be.
You started the game at a farm or at a village, and there had a quest that you had to use get a bowl to use it in a cow, so the cow could feed.
After some quests, you could speak to some knights and choose the peace or war sides. The knights were like standing there and waiting for you.
It was not 0 and 1.
You cold be part bad, part good.
I remember another quest where you learned magic and had to burn a spider web.

No way I'll remember the name of that. Will someone help me?

First I just want to say I'm amazed that this thread still exists and I thank everyone for keeping it alive, it's wonderful :D

Now for my long-forgotten game, it was RTS-like, the medieval-fantasy sort, and featured many races, not just humans.. I remember a particular race of yellow skeleton-ish creatures with shields and swords. There were also mines... the graphics weren't all that great, you had few buildings available I think. Sadly there aren't very many details I remember about it apart from the fact that it had many races, and also something like a map-editor. I know it sounds generic but I really have no other details coming to my mind right now.

If that one sparks no leads, I have a second game I want to remember.. This one was one of those old RPGs, the Legend of Kyrandia sort, only you were some sort of castaway prince(?). The first screen shows you and your wrecked ship, you wear some light green-ish outfit. Then as you explore you discover some oriental land of sorts... I just remember that at a certain part I reached a group of dwarves(?) who asked me for passwords or items or stuff.. I was small then and never really understood what they wanted from me, so I always ended up thrown in the water by them and drowning :( . So I never actually finished the game...

Alright gaming world, I am in your hands now.
Stystem:Sega Dreamcast (I'm hoping) haha
Alright, so if I remember correctly the game play is first person. Your able to summon demons (I'm guessing that's what they are) to help progress through the game. They level up by how often you use them and they each have their own advantages. Such as some fly, tank rolls, archery. After you kill an enemy they drop these orbs. That's about all I can remember of the game.

Any help is still help! Haha
Thanks in advance guys!!

You started out in a town where you had to figure out why you were there, and you had lost your memory. I remember there being a broken down car and a house which you entered and could explore. I remember you started out in a town and you had to figure out a way across a bridge that was closed and you went inside a house. Also in one house you learned about the people that lived there through pictures left behind I think. At the end of the game you find a person in the town in a church and end up finding out everyone has been raptured or died unexpectedly.
Also the game was heavily influenced by Christianity hence the rapture idea. The end of the game had in the menu you could email the game developer with questions about Christianity or anything in general, also it had bible verses i think.

Also it came out on android in 2012 i think, it was a point and click type adventure game.

Ok, so there was this PC game from 2012 I believe. Horror, in an underwater submarine thing. You're a man and have to escape the place cause your wife became a crazed psycho, sending zombi-ish monsters after you or something along the line. You had these two daughters and at one point the older one sacrifices her little sister to help you. At some point, this ninja-ish like girl helps you by fighting a bunch of monsters. In the end, you get onto a capsule which floats up to the surface of the sea. At that point there was another person with you and she was fed oxygen by two weird scuba people.

Sorry, that's all I can remember. A friend's brother played it and I wanna find it to know the whole story!

-Lighthouse
- old man at a desk
-basement shipyard with a strange boat-hovercraft

Okay, so this is a game I used to play when I was a kid. Maybe 7 years ago. It was a CD-ROM. The game's setting was a school, and the host avatar thing was a dog (possibly a wiener dog) wearing a red sweater. It was an interactive learning game. You could read books in the classroom. One was about vegemite. You could go to the playground and play marbles, make lunches in the cafeteria, and bake desserts and such in another place. The name K Start keeps coming to mind, but that isn't it. Please help me if you can; it's driving me crazy!

Hi there,

Can anyone help me with this?

Basically, me, my brother and and a few friends used to play this game years ago and I can't remember at all what it's called. We played it on PC and it must have been from the late 90s.

You play as a character (in space) who gets sent to different planets by a bunch of different aliens. I remember the aliens were all sat around and they decided what planet to send you to next. You then have to complete tasks on the planets in order to move on to the next planet. After you had been sent from the spaceship (with the aliens on) to the planets (lots of bright lights would appear and the character would spin around quickly (simulating the journey to the planet). I can't remember who the character was.

On one level, there was a spaceship that was stuck and you had to break four legs that we're keeping it tied down. I remember around the legs there were sharks swimming in the water meaning you jad to be careful.

Other than that I cannot remember anything else
