Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

HELLO guys ! ehm i was googling for two straight hours to find what i wasted my childhood at with no luck till i found someone here asked about the same game i was looking for but no one answered him and the poor guy disappeared in 2013

I've been wondering about a game for a while. It has been quite a while since i played (probably close to ten years) and i can't remember its name. It was a game where different insects fought each other. One species was yellow and that was the one that the player was most often (in my memory at least) and they were like beetles or something and they had cannons and they attacked other species and colonies. Another species were the spiders with the black widows who may or may not have been green. I know that you controlled the bugs from a bird's eye view and it is an RTS. Thats pretty much all i can remember about it, but if anyone could help me think of this game, it would be greatly appreciated.

i have some info too , when you destroy a specific colony you take there home and they start produce the same incest under your color . There were beetles , spiders , black widows , ants and every species had there unique fighting style .
anyone knows the game ? i had the demo back then and played it for MONTHS and i never experienced the whole game please any help would be appreciated ..

there is another game i played on pc around 1998 , it was a square coloring party game with 4 players ( blue - red - yellow - green ) you have to circle around the square to change the inner color and the character you control was like a space little mobile tv ( like the one on borderlands 2 ) and you compete on a Ring-like space station or flat square cowboy arena and there were power-ups to help you color a whole line or switch another player color and some rockets to stop them for a second ..

i googled a lot a couple of times and no luck so maybe one of you veteran guys played it and still remember the name .. thanks alot for reading

I'm looking for the name of some kind of adventure game set (I'm pretty sure) in the present; I played it in school on an Apple (I believe) sometime between 1988-1990, and it was relatively new so probably released in that time. Because we played it in school, it must not have been violent. There was some kind of mystery to the story which you had to unravel, I think (it was definitely not "Mystery House"). I recall it had wireframe/vector graphics, and if it wasn't in black and white, then it had a limited color palette. I'm pretty sure it was 1st-person POV, and your character walked fluidly through its world. The only distinct location I can remember was walking through a gazebo, and I think it was generally set in a town and you interacted with other characters.

If you played it in school there are high possibilities that the game was part of the Microzine series of educational software by Scholastic for Apple II. It won't be easy to track down your particular game on the web. You can try to look for something on ebay, for example

and see at the back of the box if something rings a bell. If nothing comes out, well...the last (painful!) thing you can do is download each game... there are around 150 games and they are easy to find with google then play them with an emulator!

Im looking for a game, I tried to post earlier but apparently it didn't go through for some reason. It's a game that was possible for either the PlayStation 2 or GameCube, and was a hack and slash Japanese set game. See my problem?

The only thing I remember is, early on, there is a village on fire and in the midst of it is a gigantic flaming bird. Any leads at all would be helpful.

Having trouble remembering an XBOX game. it might have been on other consoles, but not sure.. it was a japanese game, i believe, or at least just a japanese setting. you played as some sort of spirit warrior, i seem to recall him being in silver armor, and a ponytail was on his helmet, or he has a shredded red cape.. those parts arent as memorable as whats next though, because what i remember most was that you could destroy practically everything of the landscape. you could destroy walls of buildings, put craters in the ground, all by just using this long katana.. and like, you needed to do that in some stages, because 'lost spirits' or something were trapped deep under the ground in some stages... ring any bells?

Am looking for a game from at least 10 years ago (possible 15-20?) which was a 2D top down map, it was an online multiplayer RTS, medieval themed, in which you had/built a city, to build military (i think it was archers, melee & catapults/siege).

Now the difference (between other similar game - like stronghold etc.) was, there were several (4?) powerups on the map, that increased (food production, growth etc.) and I believe that holding these earned you real life money.

There must have been some sort of pay to increase your stats, which then split some of the funds to the server, which allowed for the money to trickle out to the players, those who held those special powerups (I think they were spheres?)

Can anyone remember playing it? Does it even still exist any more? I saw there was a similar, more recent game released (2008?) castle something (?) but looking for the OLD one, of course

Is there a way to search through old games by year/genre etc.? Games that might not have been super popular... I used to play shattered galaxy a lot, I bet a lot of people had never heard of the game (but it was an amazing game, at the time). Tried to find it a few years back and managed to track it down.... Thank you Google! But this one is escaping me!

A side scroller platformer one in which you played as a girl and the setting of the game was all these fantasy fairy tail worlds like Hansel and Geretel and Wonder land. I have been trying to find it for a really long time now. Anyone that knows which game I am talking about? It was on PC and you would have enemies like queen of heart's soldiers that were cards or in Hansel and geretel world chocolates and ice creams and stuff like that.

Oh, sorry. It must have been uhh around 2001-2003, I was very young. All the games were on PC.

Hi everyone, one game, it was a very long time ago on PS2, I think it may have been a Japanese game, it was essentially an RPG as far as i remember, you start on a boat (during a storm) and once you go through the tutorial, you can help this guy with a beard look for his daughter or choose to help a girl with her problems instead. I know it isn't much to go on I thought the name began with an X but i can't remember.

Hi, I have a challenge for you!

Years ago, I played a pc demo, of an old 3d mecha 1st person shooter game (but you can turn to 3rd view), from the 90´s or 2000/2001.

This demo had two stages: In stage one, you are a red robot that fights futuristic tanks, in the middle of a city, and this robot can turn to a ship to move faster. In stage two, you are a human (probably the pilot of the robot), and you´re inside the enemy´s base.

The closest thing I found was Metalhead (sega 32x), but i think that´s not the one i´m searching.

Ok I have two which have been driving me nuts for months. Both games I played when I was much younger so I don't remember a lot.

The first was on PS1 1997-2000. Top down 3D style graphics (similar to the graphics of the combat in Suikoden). In the game you play as a younger guy who has monsters fighting for him in a creepy house. I remember one looked like a ghost with whispy flames above its head. And no, it's not Monster Rancher.

The second may be a challenge. I think it was a PC game. 1990-1994. I remember very little, but it was 2d and involved walking across multiple maps exploring. I know how unhelpful that is. I know it took place in a desert. The one distinctive thing I remember is that at one point there was a temple. If you approached the temple/building too early or without a specific item, a horse rider would ride over and kill (possibly decapitate) you. Help?

It looked more like a ps1 game in graphical thermes.
