There is a computer game that I used to play back in the 90s or so and it had a main character that was a robot (I think he looked like the robot from rollie pollie olie where he has the princess leia like bun things on the sides of his head). It was an educational game where you could do different stuff like math problems which caused the hand to move closer to pushing the button that would make the robot guy fall into water like those carnival games. There was also a matching game in it and also a place where you could draw.

There was also another part (I don't know if it was in the same game or another game made by the same people) but it would tell you a US state to fly to and you had to fly there before you ran out of gas. If you got there before that happened you would collect a key and in collecting 3 keys you would release the little robot guy from behind bars and then he would thank you and walk away where he would just fall into a hole and find himself back behind the bars. Then the game would start back over again but with different places to go.

Hi, I'm new to the site and I have a hard one to figure out. Looking for the title of a PC game from the 90's where it's set in the future, You work for a corporation and you use magic. Spell based and turn based combat if I recall. Top down view I believe and I also think the protagonist was African American or I could be wrong. It had a Matirix vibe from the corporation agents wearing black coats and shades. Any help would be appreciated as I have been thinking of this game off and on for awhile now.

Hey guys! I'm trying to figure out a game that I played when I was really young. This is what I can remember about it:

- Late 90's early '00's pc game.

-Point and click style adventure/puzzle

-Kind of a cartoon animation.

-You had little stones that would turn you into animals to get you out of certain situations or to solve a puzzle.

-There was a part where you're walking through a labyrinth or a garden maze and then you get attacked by a minotaur.

-I think that there was a dragonfly on the box cover.

-I think there was a Mayan calendar puzzle in the beginning.

That's really all I can remember. If I can remember anything else, I will update it. I can't find the title of this thing anywhere.
Oh man, I'm searching for the name of this game too!! My friend said his mom used to play it a lot, so I'm waiting to her back if she remembers the name.........I feel like my life is buffering while searching for this game!
TerraTopia.
O!M!GOSH!!!! Thank you so much...you just gave me the biggest "O" EVER for telling me this!! (^_^)

We had one game on PC sooo long ago. I remember a picture of a village at night, and a player could shoot some windows of the houses or shoot to ring the church's tower bell. No walking around. What was that? I was wondering if anyone has done someting like that for tablets. As that game didn't require fast reactoin or big skills, and the pi ture was also nice, I thought that I could install that game for my mom.

Mappy would also be great, but thus far I haven't found equivalent game for tablet.

Hi, I've been searching for this children's(may not be children's but most likely) game for forever. I remember the animation being slightly creepy and it featured classic monsters, but a specific memory of mine is the presence of an Igor like character. It was point and click based(I think) and there was a traveling freak show kinda thing. I hope I expressed the theme well enough. The vivid memory of mine is Igor's voice, it was very "henchman" "Igory like" if that makes sense. Hopefully someone can help!

Ok, so it is a PC game that i think was released before the 2000's. You are in a tank with limited ammo(rockets, lasers, toxic gas) and need to search an island full of dinosaurs (and some aliens) for a way to disarm a nuclear bomb before island blows up. The gameplay is point and click style where you collect artefacts with a robotic arm from inside the tank and the environment was a jungle, swamp, rocky area, volcano or a temple. As a side note the intro was a real-life commander telling you about the mission.

Please Help!!!
It's been killing me not to remember the name of his game?!?
It's this old PC computer game. You play as an animal and they have a show to do, but on the day of their show their set and stage and everything is sabotaged. They do a bunch of mini games to restore their stage.
Any information would be helpful! Thanks!!!

The arcadey one could be "Beachhead 2000" (2000).

The RC Car one, dunno, maybe "3D Ultra Radio Control Racers" (2000), if it really featured "combat".

Looking for help finding an old PC (i think) racing sci fi type game. If i recall correctly it was featured on a demo disc possibly from pc gamer.

The demo started with a garage type ship (similar to this, just y'know, spaceship https://i.ytimg.com/vi/d6lckJxvfBE/hqdefault.jpg ) slowly decending on a wasteland/barren desert type landscape, in this ship were loads of futuristic type racing cars, the one you start with having 1 massive, wide wheel on the back. This game did include car customisation and weaponry. There were 2 other cars available in the demo, 1 of which i remember having either 6 or 8 wheels.

Any help would be great!

The game i'm looking for is this style of game: http://photos1.blogger.com/hello/49/6380/1024/rnd1.jpg
The objective was to collect all the gems to open the door to go to the next level. The main characteristic was that the character you control was a heart. When you died, the 8 squares surrounding you, became gems and you had to restart the level. It's a very old game. I've been looking for this game for a long time. I would be really happy, if somebody knew the name of the game. Thanks

I can't remember the name for this one game. Basically it is like a sidescrolling Indiana Jones game. I remember it having minigames like collecting freefalling dynamites with a wheelbarrow in a cave, a map with 5 levels of platform where we have to fall through a gap on each to avoid getting burnt into crisp and also getting across a giant pit with small moving platforms. Don't remember the character having any weapons. I had it along with IndianaJones Desktop Adventures on the same disc.

I remember playing this since around 1999. Not sure if it was even a MS-DOS game.

It means so much to me if someone could help. Thanks.

I remember playing this game in 1998-2003. It was a 2D TOP-DOWN dungeon crawler type game. I played in Windows 98.The first stage was set in a TOTALLY DARK DUNGEON/underground tunnel. As the hero walks, the next squares get illuminated. We have to move step by step. Sometimes we enter a trap or monster. So need to start again and avoid the traps. We could find weapons and gold in the tunnel. After the tunnel level there was a level, in the land area. Here we had to talk with other units and collect few more things. There was a DESERT in the next area. But in order to enter the desert, we need to get some sort of heat shield or some magic. That's all I remember. A friend of me loaned this game cd and in the CD I remember seeing it was designed for Win 95.

There are 2 games that i have been trying to find, but cant remember the name for the life of me. Im pretty sure both are one the PC. One of them was a puzzle game where you had to build and destroy blocks of star dust, but you could only do one in front of you or below you and you had to get to the other portal to get to the next level. It also had codes to each level, so you could continue from that level.
The second game is a rpg where you started off by escaping from either an evil mom or evil owner. Cant remember which. The further you got in the game, the more magic you could learn. Also when ever you ran into a chicken, you had to fight it.

Are you sure that you're not thinking of the Boulder Dash series? Maybe you just misremember the main character.. Either that, or it's some early clone of Boulder Dash.

Hi,guys...

There is this game that i have been searching about and couldn't find it.

It is an isometric view combat car racing and is much like Motor Rock, especially that dual short-length green laser weapon and those oil spots, and those bombs you leave behind,
and the track was very similar to the tracks of Motor Rock but a little better graphically.

It had a mode where you can instantly play with the latest cars without the need to unlock them.

The difference between this game and Motor Rock is the cars which is more modern and realistic and graphics all-around is better, and it had lots of customization.

I think that i played it from 2002 to 2006, maybe? and from what i have seen from my search is Bang Bang Racing, BlazeRush and Death Rally, with death rally being the closest to it.

Edit: i was playing it on Windows xp.

Still haven't had any suggestions regarding this game. Here's a re-post:

Platform: Macintosh

Year: 1990's, likely before Warcraft II came out in 1996

Genre: Top-down action/fighting game for one or two players. Local multiplayer.

Gameplay: Characters have medieval weapons (I think both players just had an axe, but it might have been a sword and the characters might have held a shield in their other arm). There were simple controls for walking and for swinging swinging your weapon. Hitting your opponent enough times in his sword-arm would dismember him, disarming the player. I'm pretty sure you could play against an AI.

Presentation: View is directly top-down, not angled or isometric. Character's limbs were made of connected circles and, if I recall, the circles were shaded with a simple gradient. Characters cut by a weapon leave a trail of circular blood drops. Again, I think the blood drops were shaded with the same gradient as the character's limbs so they didn't really look like flat droplets or pools of blood. Multiplayer was split-screen until both players were close by at which point the screens would merge.

Release: this almost-certainly was something I played off of a compilation disc; I can't see it being sold as a stand-alone game.

Hey.

I am looking for an old RPG game (~1988-1995), I think it was a DOS game, but it could've ran on Windows 95 as well. Far as I recall, it was a rather typical dungeon crawler type of game. The HUD was quite common in older RPG's with portraits of 4 heroes and their items. I can't recall whether a weapon was visible. The game looks something like in this picture, although the portraits might've been all on one side (can't recall).:

However there was one unique feature in this RPG. When you engage a monster and you kill it, sometimes a cutscene occurs where it shows how the hero kills a monster. It shows a shadow of the hero (full screen) using his bow and then the monsters shadow that gets shot with arrows for example. The triggered cutscene looks something like a shadow behind a curtain:

Anyone remember anything?

Hey all! I'm looking for the title of a game I played on my Apple II GS back in the late 80's/early 90's. The theme was a dungeon puzzler, where you controlled a gray wizard with a staff. I remember the graphics being really good for the time. Each level had more complicated traps in it, the ones I remember specifically are little green acid pools that roamed around, little jets of fire in the walls and floor, and floor spikes. The end of each level was a ladder going down to the next level. Sometimes you would find little spells that would help you out. They'd make you invincible for a second or something.

The boss fight (really the only fight, if I remember right) was against a dragon who would breath fire at you, and the trick to the game was basically that if you used any of your spells (one-time use kinda deals) earlier in the game, you couldn't beat the dragon because you needed them all to fight it.

Anyway, I seem to remember that it had kind of an isometric view of the level, but I could be wrong about that. I also remember that the death animations for the game were pretty intense for the time. If the acid got you, you melted into a pile of bones, and if the floor spikes got you there was a bloody mess of an impaled wizard.

I think there may have been a version on the NES/SNES, but I wouldn't stake my life on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'd love to see if I can find it again to see if it is still as hard as I remember!
I believe you're looking for The Immortal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Immortal_%28video_game%29

And yes. That game was a beast. Hell of a twist at the end too.
