Hiya! I am new to this place and I could really use your guys' combined awesomeness.
About 10 or so years ago I played this game called either as(z)uma or as(z)ura. It was japanese style RPGish CD ROM for PC that ran on windows 98.Pretty sure it was 98.

Anyway the game went something like this. *Spoilers: Ye been warned*
Three characters (classic fighter sorcerer and ranger demon hunters sort of thing) on a quest to find and kill a demon (maybe devil himself not sure). Each with their own reasons (revenge, disgraced warriors team up to defend princess I think?)

*One of the characters (male) had blond spiky hair, pants and no shirt. The other male had long brown hair and blue robe/komodo. The female (Raina is the princess I think) had a red komodo and long brown hair.*

The whole point of the game was to fight through blacked out maps (that became revealed as you explored) to fight monsters for better and better loot. After side quests (find this stuff so I can make you this potion sort of deal) and a pretty good story line you find a specific sword that you need to kill the demon you are hunting (whom you have to go to hell to find).

The graphics were pretty good at the time XD and you played as all three characters at once (if I remember correctly) and the view was kinda slanted birds view. I mean that you see the characters as 2D but kinda see the map from above (because you can see lower/indented parts of the map that you can later move 'down' into.) There tons of monsters to kill and treasure to be found. I think at one point you have to kill a vendor because they turn into a demon and try to kill you. It was fun piecing together the different bits NPCs told you to find the demon lieutenants that'll lead you to the ultimate baddie.

I do remember the beginning cut scene was in some sort of wooden japanese hut where raina is attacked by demons and saved by the two dudes. I remember not skipping it a lot because it was pretty bad ass.

The almighty google doesn't think this game exists... but I can tell you that I didn't spend countless hours on nothing. I never finished the game so I'd really like to do that XD Anyways I don't want to rabble on and on so if anyone knows what I'm talkin about I'd really appreciate anything pointing me in the right direction.

It was a game on the Intellivision console where you were a car and had to jump bridges and avoid other obstacles. It also had planes or birds trying to drop stuff on you.

Minus the birds/planes, could be Bump N Jump

Hello, mine could be difficult since I don't remember much.
A point and click game. First thing you choose a male or female character on a black (or very dark)screen. There are different characters to choose from. Everyone has their own race and stats. If I'm not mistaken one of the races was an elf and the human was the weakest one.
I think the character survives an airplane crash and after that you can go wherever you want. I always died quite fast and don't remember who were the enemies so I never even knew what the main goal is. the atmosphere of the game was quite dark, the houses I casually found were wooden shacks. One time I remember reaching a village, with a medieval atmosphere and even atacked a villager. he defended himself and killed me. It's not turn based combat.

Hope someone could help me. Thanks in advance.

Hello! I'm searching for the name of a dos or win 95 game where you drive a vehicle, like a tank, on a desert enviroment. You have to build your war industry to combat another tank like yours and destroy his factories... a strategic-combat-(driving) game...

old game my cousin lent me, it was probably inside a videogame magazine from italy, con cd-rom, played it on pentium 166, turn based rpg with isometric visual very similar to final fantasy tactics, more western than jap-rpg but still with square based grid, you impersonated some guy (probably a prince) on a journey, followed by a girl and a weapon master or something similar and maybe other friends, the game was almost only about subsequent battles, very similar to battle for wesnoth in this. I took my nickname from what I thought it was the game's title(and the main character's name): Drorian about 12 years ago but in all these years I haven't been able to find out anything about this game.
You think it could've been an italian only developer? I don't even remember if the game was in english...
Bump.. please I really need to find out where my nickname comes from :p

I can add the main character had a big sword, and he gained some special skill for every mission (battle), those were attack skills that for example damaged all the tiles in two lines convergent in a cross on the map, very unusual range (along all the map!) for this kind of games..
Warlords III?

There was this game I played one time on an Xbox in like 2007 and it was sort of like a side scroller but you could move up and down too. I think you started off in a subway (you get to a subway somewhere) and you play as guy who has gray or blonde hair. You had to fend yourself from zombies and try to get to an exit I think. That's all I can really remember but I'm really trying to look for it.

I've been thinking of a game a lot recently that I used to play so much when I was younger. I don't know much about it except for that the intro shows a bunch of cog machines or robots attending a funeral or something like that. Also I think the character you play as is a girl or something and it's one of those games where you click to interact with objects or to go places. Thanks in advance!

I never actually played it but I remember it was a game where you were a ball and you travelled around a planet and there were buildings you went into and had to solve puzzles.
Pretty sure the planet was packed with vegetation but served no purpose except as an over world hub between puzzle buildings.

It is Not "the ball"

Game would have been released about 2014 possibly 2013

Also long shot but around the same time there were 2 more puzzlers. One where you could manipulate time and or clones or something and one where the gravity was messed up and you could change it or something......
Like I said it's a long shot.

Thx

That's "Syberia 1" (2002). Very nice adventure game.

I'd wait for a sale though. The Syberia games can be had for way less than 2 bucks each.

Hi guys,

Looking for an FPS from the 90s (I'd say mid 90s).

You could choose I think between a couple of characters and the game was set in modern times (I don't remember if it was mid 20th century or modern day setting), you had special powers that you could use like some hand of god or something you could shoot fireballs or something with and special weapons.

You could pick I think special items like gas masks and what not.

There were guys shouting "outsider" or something like that at you.

It wasn't Blood and there weren't monsters I think.

Any idea?

Hello, There was this game with a black background, red brick walls. You would move a magician inside a labyrinth like bomberman. you would collect some colorful dots and rise your mana then you could burn skulls closing the way. If i am not wrong, there were many levels and you would need to collect books. it was simple 2D game. your character was not animated but there were simple sound effects when you collect stuff or burn skull. some levels were tricky like a puzzle. graphics were horrible. silly sound effects were demonic. i think it was ms-dos or win95/98 game.
Also character had a cloak and was holding a stick.

Anyone remeber this games name.
