Oh may lord!!! My love for the Internet and all of its possibilities, wealth of randomness and topics like this one has increased enormously!

There is an old game that has been in my mind for some time now. I think it was from the late 80's early 90's. I played it as a kid but could not pass the first screen lol. I thought it was an Incredible Hulk game for the longest time but I could not find any info online about it.
It was text based like Hugo's House of Horrors but the animations were like still cells that changed (i assume they change but I wouldn't know for sure since I couldn't get past the first screen) as you progress through the game.

Anyway, the game begins with the hero (who, for some reason, I thought was Bruce Banner)sitting in a chair, blindfolded and hands and feet tied up. He is in what looks like a dark jail cell with a small window in the background letting just enough light in to see the character. The only way to move through the game is by typing text commands such as:

"Call for help"
(screen answers)--> You did, nothing happened.

"Break the ropes"
(screen answers)--> You tried, but are tied too tightly. (or something to that effect)

This goes on and on as I tried many commands. "chew through ropes", "get angry", "knock over chair", "untie ropes"...etc..

Does this ring any bells with anyone here?
I can only hope at least one other person shares in my madness so I can sleep well believing that this is not just a figment of my own mind...:D
It's the Hulk game by Questprobe to get out the chair you need to "bite lip" which gets you angry and become hulk then you get overcome by gas and revert to Banner

I need help!

I played a game when I was about 6(?) years old, or younger.. On a Windows 95/98(?).. I never got it, but have some memories from it, and some information I remember from last time searching the internet for it..

The game was on another planet. You play a guy. The enviroment reminds me about a valley, dessert, something. It's a monster-wolf like creature (BLACK!!) always moving/looking at you in the background. I always died, and did not get the story.

Last time I found it, I found out it had two names. And it had something to do with the guys car(?!) that got him there, and something about a lab, and to get home.. But I DO NOT REMEMBER D:

help.
It's called Another World

I remember an old game, similar to vectoroids. It was around early to mid 90s and I can't remember if it was Mac or PC. It was before Windows 95 though i think. It had yellow shapes (i particularly remember cones) that you had to hide behind, you were a green (I think) triangle shaped unit and I think there was a red guy that was bad and could shoot at and kill you. I think you could choose to play in arial or 3D mode. This is about all I can recall unfortunately.
Either way I remember LOVING this game and haven't yet been able to remember it's name or find anyone who does.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?
SENTINEL I had it on my Atari

Okay, the game I've been looking for probably came out in the 90s or early 2000s. It was a pc game where you could create caracters/students and name them, then place them in mostly a school setting(I believe) and create comics with them. Or at least that's as much as I remember. I know at one point I had created a ton of the characters.

I'd love to find it again, if only for nostalgia purposes.
I haven't heard anything yet, so forgive me for giving it a bump.

Hi guys,

Looking for an FPS from the 90s (I'd say mid 90s).

You could choose I think between a couple of characters and the game was set in modern times (I don't remember if it was mid 20th century or modern day setting), you had special powers that you could use like some hand of god or something you could shoot fireballs or something with and special weapons.

You could pick I think special items like gas masks and what not.

There were guys shouting "outsider" or something like that at you.

It wasn't Blood and there weren't monsters I think.

Any idea?
Pretty much is "Rise of the Triad" (1994)

10x so much :-D

DustArma[]I remember this old DOS/Windows 9x game, it was a 2D topdown shooter (I think it wasn't isometric) where you controlled a chopper, you could move wherever you wanted, it was set in a desert and you could choose between several types of weapons like rockets and machineguns before heading off to a mission that IIRC was destroying enemy buildings with foot soldiers, tanks and other things defending them.

I don't remember much more of it, I think it was a demo for it.

Any ideas of what game it is?
Is it by any chance one of the strike series Desert Strike, Jungle Strike and Urban Strike ? I remember them from the mega drive you were a helicopter gunship with various missions such as destroy SKUD missiles, escort missions and protect convoys.

hey im hoping someone can help me
I've been looking for this game for a long time and everytime i google it i get harvest moon and what not. Anyways this game is for Ps1 and i only had the demo disc for it(if anyone knows the name of the demo disc that'd be awesome, it came with the Ps1 when we test drove a mini van and got the ps1 for free) anyways you can either be a boy or girl and they each have their own powers, i don't remember what the girls powers were but the boy could morph into the monsters you beat, well you pick up "beast tokens" i think they were called, in the first level you're traveling through the jungle/woods and the level ends with you in a large building where you fight a boss who is half man half horse (I THINK)

another game, not sure if anyone could help this is older, a PC game, very pix elated like Leisure suit Larry, but you're a cop. I can't remember much more than that, also there was an old i think could have been a star wars game, also around the same era very pix elated as well, sorry i can't be of more help, i remember they were both on floppy discs and this was early 90's

Thanks for your help!

EDIT- i found the first game! it's threads of fate! im so happy
The 2nd game your looking for is Police Quest also by sierra who made Leisure Suit Larry and Kings Quest

There's an old PC game my family and I used to play. It was similar to Pokemon, where you capture monsters and train them. The monsters were quite strage with equally strange names. I believe there was a rabbit (vorpal bunny?), a jack-in-the-box (boxacot?), a cactus, a carrot... the list goes on but my memory is failing me (hence my turn to this thread). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Could this be Jade Cocoon ?

Hi,

I have been trying to remember the name of a game for ages. It was on the Apple Mac in the early ?90s I think, although not necessarily exclusive. It was an Elite type game to begin with where you had to begin by docking at a space station in a kind of simple 3D effect. You had to line yourself up with a black docking bay (I have a memory that maybe you had to ask permission to dock, or were sometimes refused entry). Once inside it turned into a top down isometric type view and became a simple RPG type game, where you were represented as a little space suited guy and could walk around and talk to people, buy stuff et cetera. It was also black and white (but that might have just been my version)

Any ideas? It has been bugging me for years now!

Thanks
That sound quite similar to Cosmic Spacehead

There was an top down, 2d, fantasy action RPG I played back in the mid 90s I'm guessing. Pretty sure it was shareware and downloadable for free on probably download.com back in the day. It was a DOS game, I think.

You were this muscled he-man-esque character. You could equip items to all armor and weapon slots. There was a complex stat system that included the word 'ambidextrous', I know that because that was how I learned what that word meant.

You started in a village surrounded by green grass. You moved upward towards a mountain range that had a door in it. That started a probably infinite dungeon crawling adventure. Mobs included snakes and bats and other creatures.

The graphics were simple and brightly colored. There was a menu/control scheme on the right side of the screen I think.

I've searched for this damn game for hours and have been unable to find anything. Any help?

Castle of the Winds? It doesn't have a 'complex stat system', but the other details match.

Ok, I've been driving myself crazy trying to find a PC Game I used to play

- probably came out 1994-1999
- Space Game, you control a spaceship/ star fighter
- top down view
- not linear play, more of a sandbox, you have a big area of space you can just fly around during each mission
- mission based, the missions were like escorting larger ships, defeating fleets of enemies, attacking enemy cargo ships
- controls, you pointed the space ship in a direction and then a button to fire thrusters, i believe multiple types of weaponry

it may or may not have been shareware, i cant remember. i feel like i played through the whole version i had but there were more missions i could get

Hello!

I am desperately looking for an old game. I believe it was on Windows 95 or 98.
Not sure about this one but I think there was II in the title (something like "blablabla II")

In the intro there was a guy riding a horse in a scary scenery. There were skulls and dead people and if my parents knew I played something like that back then, they would have been freaking out! ;-)

after the intro there were orc like creatures you had to fight in something like an old medieval yard.

Really hope someone knows the game I am talking about! :)

So there was this game I played some years ago with my brother but i just cant remember its name...

-Computer( win 95/98)

-2d -Side-view

-single/ 2-player mode

-we played it around 2003-2008 i guess

-the player was something like a special force guy, like a dark blue/ black battle suit( maybe something like a spacemarine armor but not that bulky), having many different types of weapons and you would have to clear the level of those monsters.

-the overall Style/ kind of game was maybe something like the two first Duke Nukem but darker, many dark, blueish or grey colors.

-one of the later monsters was like a big, black monkey with swordlike claws as forearms

-Some weapons were a grenade launcher, all kinds of guns and either a sword or a chainsaw, im not sure anymore

Edit: (Spoiler) the Endboss was some flying devil-like thingy, dropping some kind of blood grenades on you

Hey,
i've been trying to remember the name of the game im searching for some time now, and hoped getting an answer here.
I don't know really a lot about it so let's start right with it.
The Game is about different missions where u need to invade the Enemy.
In my vague memory i think it were kind of worms of which you had control but it doenst have anything to do with the normal Worms games.
When you start you got a mansion or starting location with a few "worms" and you can change them in 4 different roles:
Scientists, Workers?, sort of Breeders, and Fighters.
I cant remember what the workers and Scientists were good for, but you needed to send worms to the enemies house to invade them and take the house over to win the Mission.
So i hope anyone got a small idea what kind of a game it is, but i think it appeared between 1995-2005 and did run on windows 98 and ME.
Thanks a lot for your Help!
Oh almost forgot in the different missions there were different seasons, so some with snow, etc.
EDIT:
Wow, i just found it! its named Baldies . Still thanks :)

Hello everybody.

I'm looking for a PC game. A puzzle game where you must guide a purple furry thing (kinda like this: http://www.sheffield.ac.uk/polopoly_fs/1.138934!/image/prof-Fluffy1.jpg ) to meet its babies, you do this by using fire, water; rotating mirrors and lasers, putting bombs, etc.
your game name is "dweep gold"
I am looking for a like this, but the aim was to move the mirrors to save various pets that were trapped inside a kind of prison.

There is a game that I've been searching for a long time, 2 in fact. The first one was this game on facebook about farming I believe and it also had a story plot that had love stories in it and I think on of the characters was black and had red hair and was in love with someone. The 2nd game is the game where you are an agent or something and you are shooting and fighting people on a single building, it's 2D and you could knock people off the roof and break things I think.

Hey. I've been looking for two games that I can't remember the name of. Both are early 2000s and made for the original xbox.. I think. - I will be saying "I think" a lot because I'm not totally sure on every little detail.

So the first game involves a group of punk-like, tough characters who are usually equipped with heavy weapons. They follow missions (I think) and go from place to place such as trains, ghetto areas, etc. I remember sorts of soda machines in this game as well (used as power drinks I think.) I just remember the game was very rough and trashy. I'm also sure it had some swearing and revealing clothes in it. In one level I think there's a boss who's rich and wearing nice clothes. - sorry for the terrible detail.

The next game involves a main character. A women who has different missions in different areas. She works as a spy/assassin of some sort. She has blonde hair (I think) and a tough build. I can only remember her having a gun. I remember some missions involving underground sewers, crawling through vents, going through tight wall spaces and even a meat place used to hang people's body parts (I think) and her having to get through the area by staying on the racks. She had to hide in a locker (I think) in one part from an enemy. The room she was in had disco lights, gambling or a pool table and some old rock music. - might have been teenage wasteland by the who. She also had to follow orders from someone (might have been the game narrator or some guy.)

Sorry this was confusing but any help would be much appreciated!!

Ok, I´m sorry if I´m violating any forum rules but this is the only place I found that I maay be able to find this game that has been driving me crazy since like forever

I remember this was a game cube or playstation 2 game (not very sure) also I think it was a demo (not very sure either) It was a strategy game, you could pick up cubes and drop them in diferent shapes, this would create diferent weapons, if you used a certain combination it would create replicas of yourself (those were like your little soldiers), you could even make tanks and there was a way to make "your little soldiers" smart so they would work by themselves.
