So this is my first time here. Hello.
SO, what I am desperately looking for (for the past 7 years) is a game that was featured in a demo disc a german one for THE PS1
IT is about a guy wearing red(my memory is murky, its been 12 years) it starts in a room with picture of a pentagram or maybe the five elements, and the guy goes through a door, a huge one I think.
He uses a staff, not a sword, I distinctly remember that.
Next, it was a sprite, so something like alundra maybe.
It is not alundra,

IT IS NOT a side scroller, it is (maybe) an adventure rpg

IF some of the details dont match, REMEMBER: I have only played the demo, I have not SEEN it for the last 12 years, and I was pretty young then.
Basically: red outfit, staff definitely, pentagram or five elements, huge door, sprite character, not side scroller, PS1

Please, if you can help me find it, I would be really grateful.

Okay, I'm going off of very vague memory here, so please bear with me. I'm, like, 80% sure the main character's name was Maya. It is a 2D fantasy game. I believe it was a platform game.

It stated with a baby (Maya) being born in what I think was a church. Things turn dark and I believe the mother states 'Where is your father, Maya?'. Fast toward, you're a young girl (woman? Idk how old she was) goes into the same place with I think someone attacking her now elder mother. She kills the guy, and I think the mother was unhappy. I can't remember why. The girl goes on this adventure and there's either robots or people with armor and a wizard i believe and a unicorn

Its most standout features were some birds whose heads were skulls, mushrooms you had to jump on to go higher that sometimes had teeth, and hearts that were a ***** to get to

If anyone could help me at all, I'd really appreciate it
Heh, I knew the game had the word "daughter" in its title and that I have played it.

That's "Eternal Daughter" (2002). It's freeware too, so grab it directly from the developers.

Sounds like Nightmare Creatures might be a possibility?

I can't for the life of me remember the name of this PC game (naturally), but it was a top-down shooter (NOT isometric) a little like Raptor: Call of the Shadows, only you could rotate in any direction and go anywhere on a map and I recall the graphics being a bit better.

You got upgrades by finding military medals within buildings you blew up. Upgrades would go towards Chaingun, Shells, Power Shells, and I think Mega Missiles (I think you could upgrade your armor too). You had the option of driving a tank or helicopter (there may have been a third option). Upgrades carried over to each successive level. I feel like most of took place in a desert setting, but I also don't think I ever got past the first few levels so that may not be completely accurate.

A distinguishing feature that I distinctly recall is how the game would announce what weapon you switched to. So if you activated Shells or Mega Missiles you'd hear a voice say "Shells" or "Mega Missiles", etc.

I pretty sure I played it sometime in the early 90s. Did a hell of a lot of google searching and even checked every single action game on Abandonia, but no dice. Any help would be great. THANKS!

I'm trying to find a game that was on an old shareware disc back in the 90's. I believe it was an adventure game, though I can't remember if it was 1st or 3rd person. I have very vague memories of it, and I feel like a red balloon and a syringe were part of it. The one specific memory I have is that at least one scene was a lot of crucifixes, and the scene was purple.
The game seemed surreal or nightmarish, so I've checked out Deja Vu as well as Dare2Dream. I know that Deja Vu is not the game, and I don't think Dare2Dream is it because the art doesn't seem familiar.
I have looked through what feels like hundreds of titles trying to find it, so if anyone can decipher these vague memories, I would really appreciate it.
are you sure about Dare To Dream? there are three chapters and the last one has a lot of crosses in a pathway also seems pretty accurate to your description, have a second look

OK so I've been searching for days and days about this old 90's PC game I used to play. I don't rememeber much of it but it's like a factory or a shop with machine for little monster or chickens not sure lol so people would come knocking on the door, sometimes it's a giant and sometimes it's something else and they'd be like "I would like red hair and orange shoes" something to that effect, anyway, they would ask for a a specific little monster/chicken and you would have to dress them up and make them. in the factory you had lots of options like hats with polka dots or stipes, shoes, I think there was scarves too.

I know my description is bad but that's all I can remmember to be honest.
that's the Fripple Shop episode from

No... Its a sprite character like from alundra.
Think something between link to the past and alundra. The guy uses a bo staff.
But thank you anyways.

Hi,

I'm looking for a game i've played about 10-15 years ago.

It's like medieval fantasy game, graphics is similar to pokemon crystal (pixels, almost the same perspective, mobs and player is seen as whole in 2D). Also map/level is made from like more square areas, and you can see only one area at the time on whole screen. if you cross the border of the area you get to another area. Mobs can't walk between areas.

There are 3 classes: Knight (white/gray armor, melee), Archer (green clothing but i'm not sure, bow and knife, limited ammo, has to collect arrows) and mage (red robe i think, default attack is shooting blue like orbs thingies and uses no mana, 3 special spells that use mana: ice-blast, something with thunder and fire spell). Mana doesn't regenerate by itself, you could fill it with mana potions the same as health with health potions.

The game can be played solo or with at least another player (same screen and same keyboard).

I remember the first level. It's mostly green with trees and occasional gray/stone buildings. Mobs are mostly zombies and fire elementals (U-shaped flame with black eyes and mouth). The last/boss area is a stone corridor with players on the left side and boss-dragon on the right side. After you defeat the dragon you go to the right end of the corridor into teleporter and you get to level 2.

I hope that helps and that you can help me find this name-long-forgotten game of my childhood.

I can't remember the name of this game I used to play in school....I was in elementary school I think, so we're looking at the early - mid 90s, and it was on a floppy disk. All I can remember is it seems like you were a girl that had to drive around town running errands, but you had to do it on a time limit, because you would run out of gas. I feel like there was a gas meter in the bottom right corner, green colored. Any ideas? Thanks!

ok, This one might be kind of obscure.

Space puzzle survival game.
Top down view, "You" are actually several people trapped in a space station/habitat/something in space, you try to save the ones you can, bringing the right items to the right places in the right sequences to escape. Some items are weapons that can kill an alien, some might be keys for doors or a spacesuit to let you walk outside to do/get something.

Some of the puzzles might have been pseudorandom but at least some of the puzzles were static. As you progressed through the different "levels" you encountered different areas like an botanical habitat or station areas and so on. I don't think it was turn based, I don't remember if it was pausable. I do remember it was hard as Arnolds ****s though

Ok, so when i was young i played some games at an arcade with my friends and i remember playing a metal slug like game in which you started in a moving train and you had a top down perspective and in other levels you had either a top down view or a sidescroller view. I would go myself to the place but it closed :( and i have not been able to find the name of the game.
PS: sorry i forgot in the train level you had to shoot some machines that shot missiles at you and there were the classic soldiers with helmets trying to kill ya.

there is one particular game and i don't know if somebody knows it: you played a woman with her robot companion and i think her starship crashed into a planet. she could improve her robot and it was a little like some kind of jrpg with an final fantasy combat system. I know that the robot could shoot some kind of death ray but i don't remember much else.

it must've been 10 or more years ago.

Hey there. I'm new here. Basically I can't remember this game(first person shooteR) I've played a very long time ago.(around 2000/20001 most likely)
I can't remember a lot but it starts off with a cutscene about this agent who is on top of a train who jumps out of it to go to an enemy base. I also remember from the very beginning you climb a few stairs and go to a roof. You then take other stairs to go inside an office where you find an uzi if I'm not mistaken and you kill two what seemed like guards or soldiers. That's all I can remember from the game.

Bit of a wild guess here, but your description reminds me of Shock Troopers [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9Cy7wKXJLU].

Basically
It's a tower defense. It's about a boy and girl whose village gets destroyed, something around that theme.. Sorry I don't have much but the game is simple, it might have had something to do with Big Fish Games, I searched but to no avail. I would really really appreciate any help I get.

Maybe "Monster Mash"?

http://www.bigfishgames.com/games/2339/monster-mash/

Heh, there's only one background song, kinda funny, very annoying.
The game doesn't look like much, but gets quite challenging in the later stages.
Some pretty quick clicking required, hehe.
