Oh gosh, I am so happy this thread exists, I have been searching for this game forever. I don't know if I remember it accurately, but lets give it a try.

On an old console, it was a game where you drove around an empty city looking for the other car to take out. It felt like a Twisted Metal with a cleaner design. There was a green van and a red car. Forgive me if I don't remember it all, I was 7, I think.

Hey guys, I found this topic at Google, so I am kind of new here.
I am looking for a friend an old 2D good pixelated game of more than 10 years ago.
He told me the following details of the game thad he played 10 years ago:

- The main character was kind of a red weasel or fox like Sonic with a yellow belly.
- It was a 2D good pixelated! side scrolling PC cd game.
- It had a kind of blue sky background.
- There were colorful levels.
- There were kind of (exploding) barrels where you could jump in and at the right timing jumping out again or something.
- It was around the time of 2000.

He loved this game and would like to find it again. I hope there's someone that knows this game descriptions. Thank you in advance.
It's not a Crash Bandicoot game, is it? (Can't recall offhand if that franchise had any 2D games...)
No unfortunately not which came first in my mind. But he says it was not Crash Bandicoot.

He remembers now that the maincharacter was definitely a 'fox'.
And he's absolutely positive it wasn't anywhere in the Sonic franchise? Didn't Tails have his own game at some point? (I may be thinking of a fan game, or perhaps a Japan-only game.)

(Edit: Yep, here's Tails' game - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tails_Adventure That isn't it, is it? Still worth a look at though.)

(Edit 2: This is too early and not a fox, but the bright colors make me think of Skunny: Save Our Pizzas ( http://www.classicdosgames.com/game/Skunny:_Save_Our_Pizzas.html ). Alternatively, this one has much darker colors, but is from a bit later time period - Titus the Fox: To Marrakech and Back ( https://www.mobygames.com/game/titus-the-fox-to-marrakech-and-back ) Maybe one of those?)

Looking for GBA SP game that i used to play. i dont remember very much about it and anything i do is incredibly vague :c

- I think it was a top down view (not certain)
- your character has a flashlight
- I think the flashlight was a really important mechanic
- i believe you have a gun
- a part with a dark, destroyed mansion or castle or something
- crows or bats or something of the sort attack you while you are in the castle/mansion
- you can also explore the outside, courtyard area of the building
- I remember it being DARK and foggy most of the time
- I very vaguely remember a mechanic where you could switch weapons or something

Hopefully somebody can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated
Could that be Boktai?

It play us in mediveal times and is a game where you build a village with the help of your villagers. They have to gather resources and stuff. the grafics looks alot like lets says theme hospital.

There is a day and night cycel. When a village female and male enters a house together they can make babies, and when they do this the light in the house turns off.

Its a game with comcical touch.

Does sound like Boktai. I can't think of any other games where a flashlight (which was probably actually the Gun Del Sol) was a vital mechanic. You'd take the SP outside into sunlight to charge the gun; if it wasn't charged, you'd have to run away from enemies.

when I was a kid, which was probably around the year 2000, I had a game...it was situated in space or based around spaceships and fights....it has a slightly japanese feel/anime style to it...there were a couple of characters, girls and the last one (probably) a boy...with brown hair...anyone could help me identify it?

Tell us a bit more if you can, mate. 2D? 3D? First person, third person, top-down view? What system/console? Do you remember any sort of names?

Although seeing anime-ish and space together, I would personally think a Star Ocean game, but I could be very wrong, and likely am.

Sorry if this is in the thread already, but here's the one I'm looking for: Arcade game from late 80's, early 90's, isometric view, multi-player co-op (4 players, I think), I don't recall that there was any clear "goal" other than to hack/slash. There were what seemed like many "boards" that you got to by walking through portals; you could "pick up" different weapons or a weapon from a co-op player that dropped it if they died (I remember one was a whip, I think there was a gun, can't remember others). It's not Arcus Odyssey. Any ideas?

PC, huh. Was it an RPG, do you remember? Did it install from a disk, or was it a download? Or perhaps emulated?

sorry, not it :(
No worries, figured. Was the art like that, or more of a sprite/pixel-based thing?

That's actually very helpful!

Not this, is it? http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/abaddon_/screenshots/gameShotId,39582/ (I'm still looking, this is kinda fun.)

no :( a bit more realistic....I'm searching for something that would remind me of it a bit more
That would be good...I can't seem to find anything space-related from the right time period. You're absolutely certain it was something to do with space? I'm assuming there's no battlemechs or RTS-type stuff involved, you'd likely remember that.

(Edit: Actually, take a look at Septerra Core? It's 3D, but it might be more along the right lines.)

Alright, last guess for the night. Not this one? http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/a-blurred-line

And again, might like to have a peek at Septerra Core, if you didn't catch my edit above.
