Another game that me and my brother are trying to remember with the ones before

it's an top-down old war based game (i dont remember much about this game) you start off by getting out of a Landing Craft to the beach were you start the war then you proceed by going in the jungle, i remember it had tanks and it was a bit cartoony, you had/collected stick grenades and a rifle and threw the grenades at doors to burn them and open them, you can take cover behind rocks.

That's all i remember for now for this game.

-Another game: Same setting but side scroller type of game i remember the logo/icon of the game which is maybe a blue butterfly or an INK BLOT... maybe it is a metal slug game but im not sure.

Thank you! :D

EDIT: the first game was maybe a gameboy advance game but i played it on pc...!

Looking for two games that I can vaguely remember playing as a kid
That's not very useful, because we don't know when you were a kid.

I've seen a lot of queries like that lately, and those are almost always impossible to identify. There's just too many potential matches, need to narrow it down somehow. At minimum, make sure to mention the platform and estimated year.
The first one was a PC game, and the second for the original xbox. Would have been around the early 2000s

I was thinking eariler about all the games i used to play and one came to mind that i used to love, but i cannot for the life of me remember what it was so I wondered if anyone else gets this same memory issue and who knows Might end up finding some classics we forgot long ago.

My one is a PC game It was a car game of sorts driving around and arena leaving a coloured trail behind you and you killed other players by getting them to drive into the trail you leave behind. I think the cars and arena were mostly black (or at least the version i had was) and the trail and 'walls' coming from the cars were really bright colours depending on team etc. Like red, orange, green, blue.

I used to play the game Dave

Well there you go, What games have you forgotten, Hopefully we can rediscover old games we thought long lost!

i just came to this thread and in need of help.

it's an rpg game and its old school with turn based combat, and the battle looks like old school rpg battle which you can only see enemies and your character isn't visible, just the name.
i remember it has a character that like a ghost that we meet at some house, some kunoichi-like woman with bomb spell, and the title sounds like "dreamland" or "realm of grune" or something if im wrong but i can't really find it at all on the internet.
i played it on pc when i was a kid

that's all i remember and thank you

I really need help recalling a game a use to play years ago when visiting my Uncle when I was around 7 years old.(I am now 20 years old) Therefore I suspect this PC game was out in the early 2000's.

The details that I can remember about the game:

It was set in the middle ages (during castle times) and the gameplay was like the elder scrolls.
You could choose paths or add skills of warrior, magic or thief.
You could teleport at certain parts of the kingdom through a circular section (emitting magical rays) that you would stand on.
When pressing different F keys (F5 or F7 for example) the character would say a phrase, perform a silly action even burp or fart.
If you caused havoc in the cities you were chased by soldiers.
There were chickens that roamed free in certain areas that you could chase and kill with a weapon or magic.
In the early stages of the game your training would involve practicing your skills (magic or fighting) on the poles built like a scarecrow, representing an opponent.

Hope someone knows what game I'm talking about. It's bugged me my whole life!!! :'(

Take a guess and let me know please and thanks everyone.

Sounds like Fable [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fable_(video_game)]. I don't remember any scarecrows, though..

Alright, came across this thread as I just happened to remember something really obscure of a game.

Here goes: From what I can bring up from the past, on the old computers they had in my school backing '05/'06 before they got them replaced, I remember there being a game where you play as some sort of alien squid ship out in space, basically it played like one of those generic bullet hells that really wasn't like a bullet hell but it was side scrolling.

And I recall the first "boss" fight being an old earth satelite that you'd destroy then pursue the creators of said satelite to exterminate them all.

Not sure how well descriptive it is, but I really hope I am not completely insane yet and hallucinated the previous decade of my life.

I can't remember this GBA game that I played in my childhood. Essentially the game is something that I would say is a puzzle game as in you clear obstacles but moving stuff around. I remember the game as set in a swamp on the menu level selection progression thing. The main character or your character is an old man. I remember there being a factory level at one point in the game. I don't remember if you deploy objects to pass the obstacle course or stuff around. But what I remember is that you have a pig that looks somewhat asleep and you can use it to bounce on to reach high ledges.

I hope someone can tell me the name of this game at some point in the near future :)

Listen I've been looking for this game for years, i must have played it in 2007 or something on an old PC so i don't know exactly how old it is. It's set in a bedroom and you're in a tiny spaceship and fly around and shoot down other spaceships. The room looks gigantic compared to you and it's like aliens vs humans or something. I can't remember much but something I do remember is that there was a computer in the room and it was an Alienware. Please help me!

Vague post about a game with a Knight.

Hello everyone I am new to this site it im trying to remember the name of a game that I played in the late 90s early 2000s on the pc. Just because I played it then does not mean that is when it came out. I remember only playing demos of the game but never the full game. It was about a Knight I think he had blue armor and he was alone no team. The games had a guided path that you had to follow with different colored walls depending on the terrain you were suppose to be in. The 2 terrains I remember are a green terrain that I'm assuming was a grass or bush area and a tan/clay colored area that I'm assuming was a cave. The cave was late in the demo and was close to a big boss. I think once you killed the boss you put on his armor/absorbed his power and i think the main character at that point becomes bad. I know it is not a lot to go on but it is all I remember from when I was 8. I think the name of the game started with an H or maybe the main characters name started with an H. That is not definite it is just an instinct I have.

Hey everyone this one here is probably gonna be a bit hard because I can't remember much of it but here goes.
I'm fairly certain it's a ps1 era game (maybe a bit older). It's an rpg and at the start you get to choose between a boy and a girl. If you choose the guy you start of in some kind of Military facility (I think) and after a few minutes you and everyone else in there gets transformed into monsters and you have to fight your way out. If you choose the chick I think you have to do some kind of block puzzle. Eventually they meet up later in the story and the party merges.
So, any ideas?

Hi, all I remember of this pc game is that you start in a village controlling a character in red. I "think" it was point and click.
The other part i remember is that you are on a boat and suddenly nets start falling and you have to dodge them, on that same boat someone yells PUKE!!!... After the boat you are on an island with monsters on it. Its not Monkey Island or Sid Meiers Pirates. PLease help me my mind is gonna explode.

VERY VAGUE SORRY

I it s a very very old RTS. From the 90's for sure, one of the first fantasy RTS's. I remember it only had 2 races. They represented Light/Darkness Good/Evil. The races had big variety of units and tactics to handle situations. Orcs, demons and such for the Evil and humans knights (dwarves and evles i think). It had rought mechanics very punishing if you dont have good controll over your units. I'm possitive the units should be 2D sprites but with nice art.. kinda like Warlords Battlecry.
It was the 1st Kingdom Under Fire

This thread is awesome! I have a game that I would love some help finding! This is pretty vague, but t's what I remember:

Probably a DOS game or similar era
It was very close to the game Populous
The main image that I remember from the game is a giant wizard head and shoulders over the game space, which (i think) was a planet. I think he had white hair and beard, and had his hands over the game space like you would a crystal ball
There may or may not have been alchemy involved

Could anyone help or remember??? Thanks! <3

Hi Everyone!

There's a game I've been trying to remember for years but had no luck. Don't even remember if it was good but at this point it's been bugging me long enough. I think it was for the PS1. All I remember is it was a top-down or iso RPG, not sure exactly, and near the start you'd go into an old man's nightmare to fight pink blobs...

Vague description but if anyone has any idea it would be great if I could find this one. :D

There was this old mobile game It had the same kind of game mechanics as fire emblem. It was turn based and there were different teams represented by the colors red and blue and green. And you had to fight monsters with one type being skeleton warriors and the goal was to break the enemy's castle or tower and you could buy more troops from the castle.
