Quoted for truth. A new space combat game like a Star Wars or Wing Commander (Tie Fighter remake for Star Wars and Privateer remake for Wing Commander) is long overdue. Not only were these great games that could be massively updated, they would also work well with the analogue stick/trigger controllers on current consoles and no new games are released in this genre anymore.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Wind Waker and A Link to the Past (well a re-release on the DS for this one would be nice)...

Wasn't there a Half Life expansion pack that gave it a visual upgrade? And Link To the Past got a GBA remake with a co-op mode. I'm glad you said Majora's mask and not Oot, why has everyone said that one even when a remake has already been announced?

Personally, I'd like to see an update of Kula World. That would be great with a level editor, maybe some leaderboards.

On a side note, does HD actually MEAN anything besides output resolution? If not so, why is it still considered special enough even though the old consoles could all output it?

Deus Ex...

I hope you know about Deus Ex: Human revolution.

Of course I do but I hope you know that it's being developed by someone completely different, and there is a 90% chance that it will completely ignore it's fanbase and just be another generic cover based shooter with a few gimmicks, like the setting and a tube that shoots lemons or something...

In all seriousness, they seem to have kept the choice-making, and it can still be played as a stealth game. The story will have to be judged on release. Assuming they nail those parts, then it will still capture everything that made Deus Ex good. The only part I'm worried about is the story.

And I hope you know it's not an actual remake of Deus Ex .. It's a prequel to Deus Ex .. I for one am looking forward to the game (I will probably even BUY the game too), as it is a nice change to the sea of shit they seem to release now adays.

On topic though .. The usual FFVII and Xenogears for me, no matter how much of a dead end those games might be in the HD world.
