E.V.O.: Search for Eden for the SNES was a great game I always remembered loving as a kid and no one ever knew what game I was talking about when I mention it ... I would love to see that on any system for DL

The old X-Com games, touched up a bit.
You buy the whole series from Steam for very little and it works without any fiddling with DosBox or the likes.

Personally, I want Redline. Not Redline Racer, but Redline. The Mad Max-esque FPS/Destruction Derby with guns, rockets, mines and missiles game. I can only find it on Amazon and none of the sellers will sell outside of America! Rage!

Freespace 2.
Shining Force 3.

A lot of other things already listed.
Volition actually released the source code of the game to the market so you can legally download the game. There are several huge mods for it including an extensive B5 total conversion mod.

I want Planescape: Torment and Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack.
Preferably through gog.com for guaranteed Vista compatibility and *zero* DRM BS (which every other download service I know of has).

Suikoden and Suikoden II via XBL would be nice.
Of course, that would probably just invite the damned otakufappers to demand the other, horrible sequels to be ported too.
Flawed combat system and all, Suikoden 3 was way, way, wayyyy better than the first Suikoden. But yes, I'm still trying not to think about spending money on Suikoden IV.

Toe Jam and Earl for the Medga Drive - I realise there are emulators out there, but actually I still have the mega drive and the CARTRIDGE in a suitcase in a wardrobe so I don't need it.

OMG you said startopia! I got that free with my old laptop (2002) and I loved that game, you know when you have enjoyed playing a game so much that you feel a little bit sad when you complete it, kind of like I felt when I put in the last disk from my firefly box set, knowing it was over and there would never another episode :'( *sniff*

I really want DOOM II for Xbox Live Arcade. They released DOOM I on XBLA back in 2006 already, but part two is still not there for some strange reason..

Starcraft 64 but remade for the 360.
I'd buy this too! StarCraft 64 is one game I very much regret never being able to obtain for my Nintendo 64. I tried, but I could just never find it anywhere.

Panzer Dragoon games on the Saturn, and the first two Suikoden games. Shemnue 1 and 2 would be great too.

Same here. SC 64 was almost impossible to find a copy of for the N64. Even the people at EBgames didn't know it existed. SC 64 was the best console RTS ever made.

Yeah, I believe so too. I actually saw it on eBay one time, but the final bid was almost one hundred euro... I'm not made of money...

Moonwalker for the Genesis. Not so much because it'd be fun to play, but more for the lulz factor.

I want a copy of all the old Dune games. Dam you westwood for selling out to EA.
I can say... I really miss those days. It would be nice to be able to play those again.

For a really old game... I was thinking about Populous and Promised Lands. I got to play it once a looooooooooong time ago and it kinda grew on me.

Bundled in the wikipedia article on 'tendo's Virtual Console are links to lists of available games, broken out by region:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_console

Now, they're disc generation games, and not cartridge generation, but I would love to see Jet Grind Radio and Jet Set Radio Future ported to the Wii.
