Not really. I'm just not that big into nostalgia. I played the game for a week, put it down and walk away.

Sim City 3000 Unlimted

Found the disc after ten years of losing it. Put the sucker in my computer, installed it, and enjoyed what Maxis was before EA ruined them.
I did that too a couple months back. Made a city called Whatever-the-hell-city-this-is-ville. (Thanks Yahtzee). Good times, good times.

Max Payne 2. Just played Max Payne 3 and they screwed up Bullet Time.....it just turns you into a bullet magnet in MP3.

Persona 2 Innocent Sin, Pokemon Red, Silent Hill 2, and, of more recent, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (the GameCube version).

Beyond Good & Evil. I want to finish that thing at some point and I have nothing to do during the summer so it's the perfect time to do so. Speaking of finishing things, Rogue Galaxy. It's one of my favorite games ever, but I've never finished it. Good thing I have so much free time.

I'm on a bit of a Bullfrog kick at the moment, just finished playing through Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2, moving on to Populous the Beginning now, then after that I'm going to finish off my game of Theme Hospital and then start on Syndicate. That should keep me going for a while.

I'm currently playing 'Neverwinter Nights 1', 'Dawn of War: Winter Assault' and 'Planescape: Torment'. I'm kind of a retro guy.

And I have had the urge to replay 'Gabriel Knight' and 'Full Throttle' for ages, so someday I should give in.

Well for some reason over the past few days, I?ve developed a powerful urge to replay Myth 2: Soulblighter again. It came out of nowhere and has been getting stronger by the day.
Annoyingly GOG don?t have the game yet and my disc copy was lost many moons ago. I had so much fun with this game back in the day, but sadly never got to play it multiplayer as my internet connection was wank, so I never got to control the bad guys.

I often get this urge to blow the dust of the games of my youth. Rollercoaster Tycoon, Theme Hospital and Age of Empires 2 have all recently been reinstalled. I?m not counting Baldur?s Gate 2, because I?ve never really stopped playing that.

Anyway, what old games have recently wormed their ways into your brain as of late?

EDIT - Old games can either be games you've played before, several times or just games from the distant past. Or in my case, both.
I have been having this itch to play A Link To The Past for months now.

Tales of Symphonia, but I have no interest in going out and buying a Gamecube and all the accompanying stuff, so...shucks

Been playing Spider-Man 2 again recently in an effort to gear up for the new movie. Web-slinging around town is a lot more fun than I remember.

Suikoden.

I haven't played that game in a long time and I've been getting the itch to tackle it again.
Coincidentally, I just finished Suikoden about an hour ago, with 108 stars, naturally.
About to start Suikoden 2 with import data.
Oddly enough, I was using a walkthrough to make sure I didn't miss anything, but my whole playtime was only 19 hours, give or take. Hopefully, the sequel will keep me going much longer.
It's such a great game, but my only complaint is that the only reason you play the game for so long is just because you are going after all the stars.

I missed quite a few the first time I played it and got a crap ending, but every time after that I sit with a walkthrough and go after all of them. You would think about playing the game several times I would know where all of them are and how to get them.

IPopulous the Beginning now
Oh my yes, I really need to go back to this. It's been about a month since I played it. I tried to get a multiplayer game going with my neighbour but it didn't work. :(

I have a list of "old games I want to play," but they're not "old games I want to play again" since I haven't started them yet. It mostly consists of PS2 Shin Megami Tensei and Disgaea.

I am currently play SMT: digital devil saga . Great game , but unfortunately it is easier than SMT: nocturne. But i like it , very dark .
Would you happen to know how the difficulty falls in relation to Persona 4 and Devil Survivor? I'm playing P4 and Devil Survivor while my brother is on P3. P4 is definitely the easiest of the three because it has more options and better mechanics than P3 and the AI isn't nearly as unforgiving as in DeSu. DeSu is actually pretty freakin' hard for a lot of reasons though. I started with P4 and I'm beginning to suspect that it falls on the easy side as far as MegaTen is concerned.
Well i have played a good numbber of SMT games, I am not an expert or anything , but for the ones i have played i will rank them in order of difficulty from hardest to easiest in my opinion.

SMT: Nocturn
Persona 1
SMT:Strange journey
Devil survivor
Digital devil saga 1
Persona 3
Persona 4

Now Persona 4 is obviously the easiest if the bunch, so much freedom is given to you in comparaison of the other games, Not to say that the game is piss easy , but compared to the others, it's a cake walk .

The only reason i put Devil survivor over Persona 3, is because it is a strategy game ( we are talking about the one on DS right? ) ,and you can easily screw yourself over in a game like that. Although i love the mechanics and the old school style of gameplay and the mix of strategy and turn base. But you can really hurt yourself is you aren't strategic, thus the learning/difficulty curve is a tad bit higher.

SMT: Nocturn i put on the top , because that in my opinion is the "Demon's souls " of Jrpg. If you do not know what you are doing, you will die, and you will lose a lot of progress. Hell Dante makes a cameo appearence in the game, as a demon hunter... and you are a demon ( well demi-fiend. ) This game is unforgiving. One mistake can cost you a game over screen . Incidentally this is the one i enjoyed the most, because i am a gaming masochist. Don't even think about playing this game on hard mode, unless you are ready to submit yourself to psychologically pain . I highly recomend this game to any JRPG fans that like tough games.

Now i have not played the other SMT games ... yet, but i am slowly but surely going through them.

Note that Persona 3 has the second hardest Secret boss out of the games i have mentionned ( Elizibeth ) . The hardest goes hands down to Lucifer from SMT:Nocturn ( hard mode obviously )
