I used the search ba- Okay, I only really looked up old RTS and it didn't come up with Old RTSes that are still popular on the first page but whatever ONTO THE TOPIC.
When I say old I mean the time of games like Total Annihilation, Starcraft, Command and Conquer... Basically, I'm talking about RTSes, old ones, ones that aged awesomely besides their graphics falling over on themselves.
My favourite RTS of all time is Total Annihilation, I hear SupCom is a lot like it but I'm too lazy to go out and buy it at the moment. In my opinion it was pretty unique at the time it came out (from what I heard of) and it was ONE OF the first 3d games, even if it was from constant birds eye view and, as I mentioned in another thread, the 3d was a blowjob with a cheese grater to your eyes.
Basically, my question is what old RTSes do you guys know of that are still SORT OF popular today?
What made me think of this thread is I have a friend with a REALLY shit computer, ok, so it runs everything made in -2005 on mid-to-high graphics and anything after that is either low or blue screen of death so he's been sticking to old games for ages now, and I referred TA Spring to him since he could run it and I'd like him to be able to play a game with me that doesn't look like a blowjob with a cheese grater (I'm trying to milk that phrase as much as possible).
