I graduated highschool in 2002. I have old classmates that take their children to elementary school. Friends are supportive no matter what stupid thing you do (assuming they didn't plan having children).

I know of people in my school who had kids, but I wasn't friends with them (Good thing too).

It does just confuse me that people ruin their future prospects over bringing up a whining and expensive child who will probably end up shit because they were raised by a fucking teenager!

At my high school, there were a surprising amount of senior girls that were pregnant when I was a senior.

One time we were in this computer lab specifically meant for contacting colleges and other college stuff and I overheard this girl on the phone with one. She mentioned she was pregnant and I immediately stopped what I was doing to stare at her.

She didn't notice of course as she was on the phone and on the computer so I like goggled at her back for a few moments, debated interrupting to exclaim my surprise and then opted not to. But it was still so shocking.

I don't get it either. To me, there's nothing all that good about getting pregnant anyway when you're so young and all.

One of the greatest things so far in life is laughing at the people around me as they fall get knocked up or knock up their GF, its hilarious to me. Of course it only seems funny because in the majority they say to me "well I/he pulled out" *cue laugh track* and I applaud.

Its kinda of the social norm where I come from (Corby Northamptonshire, UK) that if your not pregnant/have a kid by the time your 20 your weird. Thankfully, I'm weird, but yeah most of the people I know/knew in secondary school (11-16) now have at least one kid. I think Corby was holder of the highest teenage pregnancy rating in Europe for quite some time.

A girl who was in my class at the time caused quite a stirr by getting pregnant at when she was either 13 or only just 14, I can't remember exactly. She subsequently had an abortion, but everyone knew about it at the time. Nobody else though.

When you said that it reminded me almost exactly of my own school, with the word 'slags' n all,
then my brain said 'hey maybe I know him at school'

Profile check, UK, yes, Name, same as mine.
