Sonic the Hedgehog for the Genesis/Mega Drive on my PSP, I have so many copies of the Sonic games from collections and what not it's silly.

Lots of games on the PS1. Gran Turismo, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Jet Moto, and Metal Gear Solid.

Your newest avatar is unnervingly suited to that remark...

OT:

Tobal No. 1 for the original Playstation. 1997, I think it was.

I recently dug out my copy of Diablo II inspired by watching a Let's Play of it and seeing the things I'd been doing wrong in the past. Now that I'm doing it right the game is much more fun than before.

Septerra Core from Gog.com, a game I played as a kid but could never finish. I just never thought it would be a 50+ hour game. Oh, and Spear of destiny on steam to play the lost levels.

Seiken Densetsu 3 (also known as Secret of Mana 2) for the SNES. Was released back in 1995, but I still find it to be a very good RPG.

Assuming that re-releases on XBLA and the like count, Alex Kidd in Miracle World (1986). If not, Legend Of Zelda: Link To The Past (1991)

Shadow Hearts 2 for the PS2 (played on my backwards-compatible PS3). Wanted to see if the combat was as engaging as I remembered. Yep - still sooooooo good. The writing is a bit tortured at times, and the dialog can drag on, but the fighting is just so damn fun.

Haven't played any old games recently. Rainbow Islands on Amiga (1987, port 1990) is one of the older games I try a bit seasonally in every couple/few years.

I still play way too much of Counter-Strike: Source. That was released 2004. The current version, even though it hasn't changed significantly (for common gamers' eyes and feel at least), is from last February though.

Diablo 2

I've had it installed since last Summer, but never really bothered to play it, and with the release of Diablo 3, I wanted to get more into the Diablo series.
So, I thought why not and had a barrel o' fun smashing stuff as a Barbarian.

Released in 2000 and still fully playable today, give it a go if you haven't already.

All this talk of Max Payne, combined with a crippling lack of funds, has led to me me playing though 1 and 2, which I got for something like 50p a pop a while back. Before that, I was on Half Lives 1 and 2... Seems I'm on a bit of a nostalgia trip lately.

X: Beyond the Frontier. It's worth it just for the music. The game's a bit buggy, but I find it good enough to keep playing. Maybe I'll finish the game this time.

Diablo II. I've been slacking off on that recently with Minecraft, but I'm still walking a necromancer through ladder in search of gear for my other potential builds.

I've been playing Caesar 3 (1998) all day. Sometimes nostalgia is justified.
