"Deadly Towers" was the oldest game I ever played. It's scarred me for life.

Pong. When the snes came out my Dad brought a games console down from the loft. It had two games, Pong and a lightgun game where you had to shoot a white dot that moved across the screen.

The original Frogger. A friend of mine had it when I was younger. The oldest one I ever owned myself was the first Mario Bros.

Senet. It was invented over 3,000 years ago. There are engraving of it in the Egyptian Pyramids.

As for video games, Pong is the oldest game (1972) that was produced widely, so it's probably the oldest game most of us have played.

OP: Never played Super Mario Bros? Or Pac-Man? Or Space Invaders? You have my pity.

Pitfall. Man that game was hard for me back then. Also, my mother played Ladybug for Colecovision when I was a newborn. She said that she was up all night with me and used the game to stay sane. So I've been around videogames since my first week of life.

The oldest video/computer game that I remember playing was "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego" on the computer way back in the early nineties. I can't remember what computer system it was on, just that I was able to play it at school and it came on a floppy ,literally, disc.

This is a tough one. I don't think Pong is on my list, but I know Pitfall, Warcraft 1, Final Fantasy 2, and other things from that era are. Which one is older I don't know. I basically started getting into gaming around ~1995 or so, so I guess my first games were whatever games were around in those days.

Cheers for that...I played Manic Miner when it first came out. I've been around since the birth of them really though. Can't quite go as far back as Space War, but I was around for Space Invaders(78).

Pitfall, from 1982 if I am not mistaken (maybe you are to Pitfall: The Mayan adventure released in 1994). Final Fantasy 2 from 1988 and Warcraft from 1995. Not close to be from same era thou :)

Mine was the first pitfall.

Vectrex. It's not a game, it's a console. My grandma had one and I used to play Asteroids and some racing game. Not sure what she's done with it, but I've been trying to figure out where it went so I can get my hands on it.
