Earlier this year I moved from Missouri to North Carolina. And North Carolina never gets cold it seems like, I hate it. But finally, December 1st, it has gotten cold. But it isn't even that cold. Though I am basking in the coldness and letting my fingers get numb and chilled. I miss that.

So share stories of if you have ever moved and the weather doesn't act the way you are use to.

Being a Vermonter, you can keep your freaking cold.

I moved from Birmingham(England) to a quiet coastal village in the south, usually in Birmingham the weather was a bit crap to say the least never to hot never to cold just miserable, now there's a lot more sunshine(for England anyway) but when its windy you do get the sea chill which I wasn't expecting that.

I miss the Summer. I already hate the fucking Winter, and it hasn't even snowed or rained particularly yet.

Still pretty warm in Sweden as well. 7.2 degrees Celcius outside at the moment.
Snowed for the first time a couple of days ago, but it melted as soon as it hit the ground.

Unfortunetly the longest distance I've moved was 200 meters, so I don't have any good related stories... Seems like winter is starting later every year though. When I was a kid there was usually snow outside on my birthday(3rd November).

we had snow here by now last year.

I miss the snow.
Play some Skyrim man. ;)

OT : It's weird. We should've gotten snow by now, but no sireeeee, it's windy autumn here.
I like snow. Normally i'd be a little pissed off, but in this special case (i was in some exotic, very hot place and my metabolism is a little unbalanced), i'm actually happy that winter is a little late.

Since the first storm here in Saskatchewan (so far the coldest its been has been -28 I think) it has strangely warmed up in the last few weeks. I expect hell blizzards. You can't fool me Saskatchewan, I won't lower my guard.

I moved from central Louisiana to New York city last fall. I was not prepared. I weathered my first 8-10 inch snowstorm in checkered Vans.

Cloth shoes + 1.5 miles of semisolid liquid= frozen extremities.

I live in Ohio, on Lake Erie, so I experience pretty much every season once a week. I remember when I moved here, I was fucking confused. But I grew to adapt, and now its one of few things I love about where I live. One of very few.

Our first real snow was yesterday (we had some in October, but it didn't stick at all). It was glorious. I love the cold. I'm built for it.

In Florida, there's no such thing as snow or winter. Very rarely does it hit freezing temperatures in the northern region where I live. Kinda don't like how it's almost always warm, as I'm the type of person that enjoys the cold.

I'm from Pennsylvania which is grey and cold for many months of the year, and this is my third year in Texas. It's starting to get a little cool and going into the 60's during the day. I hate winter and cold weather, and the fact that it doesn't get quite as bad here is the only redeeming quality I can say for Dallas.
