Going into a locker room and finding out I was booked to go over Jake Roberts. I had only been wrestling less than a year at the time and had only faced other indie/local guys and here I was, being in the ring with (in my opinion) one of the greatest minds in the business that I had watched on tv all my life and on top of that I was supposed to pin him in the middle of the ring. It was just a dirty old ring in a small town, but to me it was like being the MVP of the Super Bowl, World Series and headlining WrestleMania at Madison Square Garden rolled into one.

Well, I was playing Kanon, and a certain line hit me like a soft, fuzzy brick.

"That one time, back when I was a kid, I saved a fox cub on that hill."
Kanon is just filled with these kinds of moments...

Metro 2033.
Just a quick question, does the game have the exact same story as the book?
Despite me loving books, I never read metro 2033.

The game however is a new favorite single player game for me.

Final Fantasy X and X-2

When I found out Tidus was a "dream of the fayth", and since they were disappearing, so did he.

To make matters worse, the X-2 special ending has him coming back, because the fayth dreamed him back or something. all I could think was "wait, they dont exist anymore"

I was a bit 'Omg?' on Veteran Difficulty on Mw2. I would always get sruck on Riot shield enemies.

Then I ended up getting most my kills with the damn thing.

The entire ending of Killer 7 starting at the end of the level where you are at a school and "fight" the invincible shadow monsters. From there on out it's just a constant string of WHAT HE FUCK?!

Anyone who's played it, should know what I mean.
That's one.
Also, in Assassin's Creed 2 when we find out that
some supernatural beings are behind everything and I'm going to have to kill the sun. Or something.
Though thats more of a "what the hell?" than an "Oh my god!"

Pretty much every plot twist in Metal gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
Indeed. 61 scissors and all that!
On topic, most moments from the MGS series, a few from Assassin's Creed, (the ending of the first one, and the cliffhanger on the second, to name a few.) Dead Space also deserves a mention, although those moments are more, "oh shit," than, "oh my god!" I must say Heavy Rain got me with a lot of those, and Uncharted 2; set pieces were simply stunning. And of course, who could forget the moment in Bioshock. Yes, that one.

The first time the "change" occurs in Silent Hill in the school, and the little ghost-kiddies come out with their soggy footsteps and weepy voices. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!

Basically, the first time I encountered a tank on the under construction zone at the top of no mercy.

"AGH WHAT IS A TANK DOING UP HERE NOOOOOOOO!" *plummets to doom*

Beyond that, games don't really have many of those moments for me, which is a little sad, I'd love for them to :(

Killing Mother Brain in Super Metroid, only to have a huge dinosaur brain thing emerge afterwards.

Best. Boss battle. Ever.

Pokemon mystery dungeon 2.
All I'll say is Grovyle.
I had a sad face mixed with 'Oh my god... NOOOOOOOOOO!!!'
