On the Halo movie...

Imagine, the far off year of 2015, were all the people who thought 2012 was the end of the world ended up looking really stupid (excluding those who didn't commit mass suicide) Imagine, the streets littered with last year's new extra tiny I-phone, and peoples hands littered with the new extra MINI I-phone ("now with less size!"). Imagine the gamers all rejoicing in happiness awaitting the release of portal two . Imagine the theaters, transformers six just came out last summer and now the world needs a new movie about merchandise to make a gizzillion dollars...what better than the long awaited Halo: the movie?.

So, it's out...will you go watch it?

Who directed it? Who is starring? How much say did Bungie have in its production? Is it going to be from a perspective other than Master Chief's? These are crucial aspects of making an adapted movie worth seeing.

If it doesn't have full 3D holograms, every colour of blood and armour of the rainbow, and isn't 5 hours long with 150 terrabytes of cg, no way.

You don't PLAY Halo for GOOD story to begin with. You play it so that you can shoot "Teh Lizarrds" for a few hours. A movie wouldn't carry that point of interest.

Making a movie for this game is hilarious when you consider that the whole story is a massive, massive cluster-fuck.

Probably depends on the trailer, but yeah, chances are I'd watch it. (Though that might mean waiting for it to come out for rent)
