On this day after christmas I now ask.... Anyone remember Robot Wars?

Oh yeah, I loved that show when I was a kid, I actually still have a couple of old Robot Wars toys around in my house somewhere (plus a book with pictures & specs of all the bots that've been on the show).

I think my favorite bot would have to be Razer, that thing looked as badass as it was.

My favourite episodes were always the one with this ladybird robot who was covered in fur, and always got it burned off by Sergeant Bash

iirc the guys controlling it sometimes wore jackets made from the fur. Definitely one of my favourites

I'm fairly certain that robot was called "Diotor" or something along those lines, not "Nemesis", I'll check later and see

It's definitely Nemesis.

EDIT: Diotoir was the robot Team Nemesis used from Series 3 onwards. Same idea, slightly different design, so I see where you were coming from

See, when I think Robot Wars, I think that movie and not the show. This then leads me to Robot Jox, which features a giant robot that - not making this up - had a chainsaw coming out of its crotch. Ah, memories...

Hypno-Disc, ************. I remember when that thing just wrecked house - was freaking awesome.

Hell yes! Hypno-Disc was my personal favorite! That thing was positively destructive!
