Once in a Lifetime Glitches/Glitches you HAD to be there to see

One time when playing Halo 3, in the last level this wierd thing happened. We went to the door to get to the warthogs and it didn't open. its hard to explain but it would take frameshots of whatever you were looking at.
(You know when your on windows and you drag a window and it keeps making more windows that look like it, its kinda like that)

A friend and I were once playing Sonic Adventure DX for the Gamecube. It was Big's story and it was an ice level. I forgot the name. Anyway, I missed a jump, fell, spun through a wall, and was caught in some bizzaro area where I swam upside down in air

A funny glitch in Fallout 3 where I had the Bloody Mess perk and I shot a Super Mutant in the head once with a Hunting Rifle and he blew up.

No, really, like it was as if I shot off a mini nuke. There was a mushroom cloud and everything. And when I went to his corpse, I got radiation.

Not so much a glitch, but it was hilarious.

Playing inFamous, I got hit by a train and was launched all the way across the map, landing in the water on the other side, getting zappi-fied to death.

Another thing, on Prototype, I cross the red line, then launched an artillery strike on the artillery missles that were coming towards me. The explosion was so huge that everything in the area died. I reloaded the game and the whole map was just a black abyss...

Fallout 3

I fell into this guy's [http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/The_Preacher] trap. My body rebounded into the sky and got stuck there. I've heard that with enough explosives, you can make your body slam into the sky and shot back down into the ground. I have yet to test that.

I should blow up Megaton, but just before it happens, I should use the console to teleport right to it, so I get caught in the blast. Hmmm... I think I'll go do that now.

I've also seen some strange textural glitches involving nude female ghouls, an experience I wish not to revisit.

Saints row 2, Fuzz mini-game, at a bit where I have to break up a steroid ring. Simple enough. I get out of the car, equip my baseball bat whilst next to the car, swing, and in mid-swing, a steroided up man punches me. Now, as I'm sure you all know, they punch you quite far. I was punched into my car, which I then bounce off, getting sent hundreds of feet into the air, both vertically, and horizontally.

I died instantly.
Doesn't sound that funny, but it was.

On Fallout 3 my friends character could always hit a target on 1% in V.A.T.S and for some reason on Halo 3 my friend is able to survive Spartan Laser shots for some odd reason.

I wanted to deal with a challenge, so I started playing FF7 for the PC. The PC version is so full of glitches that it's renown impossible to beat the damned game (due to a major glitch when fighting Sephiroth at the end).

While playing, I decided that I wanted to go through the Aerith death scene repeatedly to see how each of the characters reacted. Out of nowhere Vincent hit a huge glitch and got stuck in a number of very strange positions throughout the scene. The funniest glitch pose was him in impossible vertical splits with his arms held wide out and his cloak stuck out behind him horizontally. He stuck in that pose towards the end of the scene and it was hilarious watching him float around looking like that.

World of warcraft: Hyjal, before it became an instance it was fun to wall jump and get into it....then they patched, on another note exploration was my favorite part of wow, I once made a group of 16 people get to the top of org, we all made fires and got the attention of the city, fucking rocked.

Molotov Rocktail, a boss that does huge damage in Guild Wars, has an ability that does ridiculous damage twice. To survive it, I put an enchantment on myself that would let me survive the two damage wads but leave me with little health. So when I took the damage, the game threw in a third wad of damage for no reason, and my team got wiped.

I haven't personally experienced this glitch myself, but unless anybody's mentioned it first, there's the Missingno glitch in the original Pokemon games. From what I recall, you start out by going somewhere you aren't supposed to in the first place, and end up facing a Pokemon that isn't even supposed to exist and looks like a sentinent grainy bar code.

Yep. And if you catch it, it RAPES your game to high heaven. If you're lucky, you'll have to restart your game. If you're unlucky, your game will be completely bricked.

Old CS glitches

First one was intentional. On the very first CS map, cant remember its name, the CT start by a bridge. At the bottom of the bridge is a tunnel that leads to an elevator that takes you to the middle of the map. In one of the later versions they added an apc to the map. You could drive the apc into the elevator shaft. The apc clipped through the elevator.. Once i camped as a CT and the remaining T took the elevator down, only to be crushed between the apc and the elevator

Second was at a lan, also old cs vehicles. It was a testmap for the newly implemented cars. There was a ramp you could drive up and then fall down. Only one time the car didnt fall down, it continued to drive through the air until it got stuck in the skybox. I won the round by sniping the entire other team from my skycar. Was never able to reproduce it though

I was cramming stuff onto the couch that Eli and Alyx sit down on in HL2 ep2 and the just move through the objects shifting them slightly and making them bounce crazily... then after them sitting down for about 10 seconds a book that was trapped under Eli flies out from under him at about 200km/h and hits me in the face killing me instantly.
