Just share moments you've seen that only happen once in a lifetime. Yesterday, I've dropped a penny and it landed perfectly on its side. I just stared at it for several minutes, wondering the odds of this happening. I've also got 3 flushes in a row while playing poker.

Once in a lifetime moment? For me it would have to be getting the opportunity to drink 115 year old wine from Portugal. How many people can say that?

Meeting Dodger (PressHeartToContinue), and Jesse Cox (OMFGCata) in person from The Gamestation, now that was an epic once in a life time thing...

Large Picture of me and Dodger!

(I'm like a colossus compared to her...hehe.)

A pigeon shat directly into my can of Irn-Bru the other day. It didn't hit the side or anything, just straight in as it flew over. I just stopped and stared, and the guy next to me just stopped and stared. We shared a look that was pure 'That did NOT just happen' then I decided that the universe is in fact against me so I dropped the can where I stood and walked away.

I was also doing the speed run mode of Dragon's Dogma, in which you cannot save. I got to about half way through in great time then my Far Cry 3 box fell off the desk and landed on the extension lead that my Xbox was plugged into, thus pulling it out of the socket and my Xbox went off. I haven't played DD since.

The other day I was getting something out of the cupboard and 2 bags of rice fell out and I caught one, then the other one landed perfectly on top of the one I had just caught. It was beautiful. I had to take a moment to stand there in awe.

I can't be the only one who instantly thought of this song as soon as they read the title.
OT: I've witnessed my fair share of those moments. My personal favorite is when two of my friends were arguing whether or not there was going to be thunder and lighting while we were in the middle of a storm. One of them raised his arms and just went "Well, I don't hear any THUNDER!" On cue, there was a flash and a large "KABOOM!" We laughed our asses off afterwards.

While camping one time with a large group of friends someone decided it would be fun to shake a unopened 2L bottle of coke and let it spray over everyone sitting at the fire

I was sitting right in front of it and the spray arched perfectly to miss me completely, not a drop on me , got a lot of weird admiring looks for the rest of that camp

I ordered 2 Chicken Biscuits from McDonald's once and if you eat though, you know that they generally look like this:

Neither of my biscuits looked like that however: they looked like this:

That pic only has one because this has happened to me on more than one occasion. It's like the chicken nugget scenario (ie: order a 4 piece and find a 5th) only applied to a sandwich.

---

I met Cradle of Filth. This may not sound like much since a lot of people meet a lot of bands but Cradle of Filth fans know how notorious Dani Filth is for changing up the lineup. I met the 2003 line-up (Damnation and a Day being their latest album at the time). I believe their lineup has changed up over the past decade but I don't know how dramatically...like, the 2003 line-up (Dani aside) is completely different from their Dusk and Her Embrace line-up (I wanna say 1996).

---

I met a ton of Internet-famous people at MAGfest 2013. It wasn't once-in-a-lifetime but I was only there on Saturday and Sunday, missing all but maybe 2 panels. I didn't meet the Grumps (who were deathly sick anyway) but Continue-cast, Jared, Stutterin' Craig, AVGN, Mike Mattei...not once in a lifetime but still fucking awesome.

I won tickets to the midnight showings of both Matrix sequels through radio station call-in giveaways (i.e. be the xth caller and win x).

Once I was walking along somewhere with a couple of friends, and for an inexplicable reason, I picked up a pinecone's little woody petal (I don't know what they are...) and threw it forwards, where it flew directly into the friend in front of me's right shorts pocket, ~3m in front.

To be fair, pretty much everyone is a colossus compared to her. Also I hate you, you lucky bastard XD

Anyway, I can't actually immediately think of any once-in-a-lifetime moments, which is odd. I suppose the closest would be me being the mascot for my local football team, Dundee United, when I was young...But I actually got to do that twice. =P

Once went to a Mcdonalds drive through.

After about 10 minutes of confusion of ordering this, cancelling that, re-ordering this, double checking that. We ended up with about 5 meals but only paid for 2. Twas a good day...

When I was stationed in Germany my ex-wife and I were on a tour of a castle on the Rhine river. Well we got a little frisky and climbed up a ladder that was chained off. We had sex on the top of a turrent in the middle of February while tours were going on below us. I had one of my feet on the door to the ladder so no one would be able to come up. It was such a rush even if we were cold as hell as soon as we were done lol.

When I was about 9 I was visiting my aunt and uncle in Chicago. They had a boat and we were out on Lake Michigan. Many people don't know but there is a lot of seaweed in some parts. Well I was sitting on the front area with my feet in the water. I somehow got my foot caught in the seaweed and was pulled overboard. I managed to miss being ran over by the boats propeller and not getting so tangled up in the seaweed so badly that I drowned before they could come back and get me.

How many people can say they got to go behind the scenes of an aquarium at no extra charge? Cause that is mine :).

I know I've seen a few awesome things over the years, but I can only remember one at the moment. :(

I was sitting at lunch with a bunch of friends while I was still in school and someone threw a fry and it landed on me. I immediately picked it up and chucked it out of pure reaction and nailed one of my friends dead center of the forehead. Everyone but the guy who's forehead I hit found it hilarious.

I was walking back to school from the supermarket at lunch once. It was a nice, somewhat warm day and it had snowed a few days before. To get back to my school you walk through a small shopping center with a line of shops that have a roof over the sidewalk in front of them. I think I was fiddling with a wrapper or something, so I stopped walking for a second. Immediate after I did, a very large chunk of snow landed right where I would have been had I not stopped. I stood there and looked at it for a second when a group of what I assumed to be freshmen started yelling at me about how I was super cool/a ninja/ect. I feigned nonchalance, cooly nodded at them, and strutted away smirking.

This happened to a friend of mine, but witnessing it was definitely a once in a life time thing.

So there we were, in lunch at school, sitting down having conversations till suddenly we saw a bee go head first directly into my friends closed lips mid sentence.
It literally lingered on his mouth to the point where he then realized he was making out with a flying insect.
And there we were, laughing like hyenas looking like idiots being stared at by 80% of the school campus.

If only they knew.

This reminds me of a story a friend of mine told me. She and her sister was on a field trip (I don't remember where).

Her sister was standing next a teacher was was bald and my friend was standing across the street from them waiting for the light to turn green to meet up. A seagull shit on the head of the teacher which bounced off since he was bald and it went right into her sister's mouth.

OT: Back in 2009 I was at my first concert, me and my friend had travelled all night to get there and we had barely had any sleep. It took us close to 15 hours, but we were going to see Rise Against after a lot of waiting and anticipation.

Now the concert itself was awesome. I was standing quite close to the stage so I had good view and good sound. They played a song they had never played live before because they wanted to apologize for waiting almost 10 years to get to us which was awesome.

Now after the concert me and my friend were all fired up because it had been such an awesome experience, but that was all a small thing compared to what happened next. We were walking away from the stage area when we heard someone shouting Tim's name over a fence. We quickly scaled the fence and saw him standing and talking to someone. After talking for a bit longer he starts walking towards us and gives us all a high five and talk a little to us. It was the single most amazing thing that has ever happened to me.

I was playing one of those games with the flashing lights that you have to stop on a spot.
like this one.

Anyways I accidentally hit the button when pulling myself after inserting the coin and it landed dead center on jackpot.
won like 400 tickets that day. life is good.
