B: Contradiction: A shield similar to Peach's Toad move or Mario's cape; whips out a piece of evidence to block attacks, deflect projectiles and turn opponents around
Left or right+B: Press: Shouts "HOLD IT!" and slams fists on the ground like he does with his desk, knocking back opponents around him slightly; "HOLD IT!" speech bubble knocks back opponents it hits for mild to moderate damage
Up+B: Objection!: Shouts "OBJECTION!" into the air and rides the speech bubble up like Snake's Up+B attack
Down+B: Magatama: Uses the magatama to stun opponents; maybe, if timed just right, can be like a Jigglypuff sleep attack and cause massive damage

Final Smash: Verdict: Puts all opponents in area on the "stand"; the Judge appears and hands down a random verdict of Guilty or Not Guilty: if Not Guilty, food and other goodies rain out for Phoenix to pick up while the others are still stuck for a small to moderate amount of time, like with Peach's or Kirby's final smashes. If Guilty, all opponents "on trial" are KO'ed or take heavy damage.

The original Mega Man and Simon Belmont were as much Nintendo staples as Link and Samus for the first few generations of Nintendo. It is a CRIME neither of these characters have been in a SSB game yet. It is completely nonsensical that solid snake and sonic are there instead.

Maybe it was some kind of rights issue with Simon Belmont? I mean, Castlevania hasn't been Nintendo exclusive for a long time.

pretty much a foul mouthed tails, it'd be a great idea but I doubt he'd pass though censorship barriers,
but I have to agree that smaller game series ought to have characters in brawl like banjo and kazooie
his special abilities could include the drill beak or firing eggs from kazooie like a gun, he could also float around the battlefield like kirby but his special finisher could be that he activates that cannon from the end of Banjo and Tooie and zap the life out of every enemy in its path

the battletoads could be included from the SNES - they could work as a pair like ice climbers with their overgrown weapons as their powers - the boot, the fist, the rock on a rope, and the boulder fist

jet force gemini could have been included even if it was only one game - the group could have been like the pokemon trainer - being able to switch to each different character - Juno - machine gun, Vela with a rocket launcher, and Lupus using a plasma blaster - the special could be that Mizar appears and blasts the whole field with bombs or projectiles

at least those are from Rare Games

but from Capcom I'd like to see Leon Kennedy, Wesker, Ada, and Krauser
