this isnt my name said:
Start my own country. Declare my home independant of the UK. Rule world with an iron fist.

Im thinking Japan, apparently they are xenophobic as hell. I like that, they may keep everyone.

Vatican (thanks abov poster) they will change certain things, but we got rid of them oeduced power. So yeah, vatican. Beside the pope looks like the emporer from SWs, so sure why not.
This reminds me of a particularly funny episode of Family Guy. hahaha. Just don't declare war on your neighbors!

Sweden.
Don't know too much about their culture, but I suppose it is pretty American nowadays as well.
But they have a Social Democracy, which is a huuuuge win for everyone.

East Timor.

One country taking over the world wouldn't really accomplish anything, so we could at least get some humor value out of a real life rendition of The Mouse That Roared.

its already been said but Vatican City ,why? cause it would be HILARIOUS watching the world try and fight this small country and thinking all along "HOW IS THIS HAPPENING!? WHY ARE THEY WINNING!?!?! Dx"

but i would impose rules as in no calling in every catholic from around the world, you can only recruit if you take of a country/state/whatever and if they have any P:

then as i sit apon my cloud and watch this (ill come down during the aftermath) i will laugh my ass off at the worlds reaction to it all xD

Whichever country has good government benefits and bases their morals over the changing times and equality rather than some dumb ass religion. I don't know what country fits that requirement I just know it aint the USA.
What's wrong with basing morals on religion? For the most part, every moral we have today comes from a religion somewhere. And the US absolutely changes with the times. The Constitution is designed to be what historians call a "living document." That is, it is allowed to be changed to fit the changing world and has indeed been changed many times. That's what the Amendments are. \

Anyone who has studied US history in any credible fashion will absolutely tell you the founding fathers intended the Constitution to be adaptable for the time.
You're talking to a political science major here. Believe me I know how our government works and how the constitution was designed. And on paper the constitution is perfect, in practice is a different story, look through history and you'll see several times where the system of the constitution failed and the blood of men was needed to bring about change or to bring back order (Shays Rebellion, John Brown, Civil War). There's even two articles that essentially give the same powers to both the state AND the federal government. And while I will say that its definitely more flexible that other governments, it only works when we have elected politicians who are willing to compromise. Unfortunately partisanship, religious views, and polarized politics sometimes make the Constitution impossible to use.

Sealand. The smallest nation of the world with a population of 3 people.
Because it would be funny.

HOW DARE YOU? I am an Australian and my internet access is just horrible. Your assumption that Telstra will give you better internet when our country takes over is horribly flawed logic that makes me angry! Oh... you were joking. Nevermind.

On topic before I get another warninghammer. Unfortunately, everyone's already said Japan, so no luck there. I'll have to say Iceland because a friend of mine really wants to visit Iceland. Plus, they don't have an army and I'd love to see the trillion-dollar US Army suffer an identity crisis. XD.

Switzerland, because they're the most neutral country I can think of. Either that or Canada, Japan or Scotland. Canada and Japan mainly because I like various things about their countries, and Scotland due to me being biased.

Captcha is van surfing...awesome.

Japan, Japan, Japan! Just like in Cyberpunk. Sushi for the whole world! First order of busness: Decide on a name. Neo-Japan or Neo-Nippon?
I Approve of this... but since I live in Canada it doesn't count.. but Japan is my First Choice anyway.

I absolutely agree. I'm an American History major. I'm not saying it's perfect in practice, but then nothing is. The amazing this is that the system DOES work, even if it does have kinks from time to time.
You can liken it to a car. 99.9% of the time it works without a hitch so the .1% percent that it has a problem, you notice it far more acutely. Conflicts like the Civil War are those .1% of the time the car doesnt work and needs repairs.
