Yes I have.FranicalFrazical said:I have always thought about this I don't know why, I only thought of it now due to the Pepsi vs Coke poll.
Have any Americans heard of Irn-Bru?
It is a Scottish fizzy drink that has a unique taste.
Also I reccomend watching it's advertisements on Youtube
I am addicted to soda. It's just so good. We can't have it in the house or I'll drink it all. So this Irn Bru you speak of would probably make me pick at non-existent bugs under my skin if I go without it for too long. The Franco said:I think Americans drink entirely too much soda as is.
It's cause in the metal bottles they have a metallic taste.the monopoly guy said:I love jones soda, I have it all the time. I also live near a Coca-Cola bottling plant and they still sell it in glass bottles so I can get those crates that they used to come in full of pop in glass bottles, and why does it always taste better in glass bottles? I think its the chemicals they use to clean 'em out...yummmm
but jones is the one with turkey and gravy flavor right? has enyone ever tried that?
Ok, I'm well aware that this thread is dead and buried in the vaults, metaphorically speaking, but I'm bored as crap and came across it. I'm from Saint Paul, Minnesota, U.S.A. and I gotta tell you, I love Irn-Bru and I warmed up to Marmite after a couple tries. But Irn-Bru? God in whatever heaven you believe in, I love that stuff!!!Meado said:Another food/drink from the UK that has a distinct taste and a 'love it or hate it' reputation is Marmite. Probably not true, like most of the things my father has told me, but it's still the world's best hangover cure.
Yes it s scottishObscure_Penguin said:Why, yes, I have heard of Irn-Bru. Although I have never actually tasted it, I've heard it has a unique flavor and color.(bright orange? I'm not sure)I learned about it after a long procrastination on Wikipedia looking up minority soda companies. Isn't it Scottish?
Agreed on both counts.ArcWinter said:By the way, both Coke and Pepsi taste horrific. Sometimes it's too bland, sometimes it's taste is disgusting and too strong... bleugh. Never drink the stuff.
However, root beer is god's gift to mankind.
