I remember the first 2. The title sequence of the kaleidoscope in the Queen's Nose used to make me feel ill :(

Anyone remember Aquila? It was about 2 kids who found some alien-super-time-travelling-thing that could go invisible.

Oh my god I haven't heard about them in about 7 years, wow. I remember the Demon Headmaster, and he went all lizardy and I swear actually killed one of the kids. Made them all lizardy or something.

Does anyone remember a show with like a space ship which was rock shaped and apperently was owned by a roman centurion?

Okay, so I'll just throw out some of the things I used to watch in the late 80s/early 90s, see if I can jog some memories and prove that these things existed.

The Dream Stone
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Samurai Pizza Cats
Terror Towers
Your Mother Wouldn't Like It
Bimble's Bucket

...yeah, our house was mainly ITV watching. My dad always refused to have BBC on for some reason.

I'm Irish and I remember seeing The Queens Nose.

There's one someone might be able to help me with actually - it was about a boy who had a magic pocket-watch, and pressing the button on it paused time until he pressed it again.
I can't think of the name of it...
bernards watch

OT: ahhh i remember those, i also remember round the twist

Thank god I'm not alone. My love for Brum was endless but then this happened to it.

(Before) All was well and I was happy. Good ol' Brum

(After) They then took away Brum's fuel and replaced it with pure LSD. Honestly when I saw this I cried a little inside.

And now I'e just thought of another one. It was called "The little red trator" Today it is now in aweful 3D but back in the day (god I'm only 16) it was a fantastic 2D cartoon and I watched it all the time.

I remember watching the Queen's nose with my older sister all of the time when I was in primary school! Didn't they remake it too? And when I was younger still, Brum was a definite favourite. Thinking about it now, I don't think I'll ever be able to understand why a program such as Brum could ever have been so captivating.

Edit:

I'm going to break away from those two examples because I just thought of one of my FAVOURITE cartoons when I was younger. Funnybones, anyone?

I loved that cartoon! I was thinking about the title song only the other day as well.

I remember them all. Anyone remember Pirates? It was about a bunch of stereotypical pirates living in a council house. Their crew included an old grandma captain, a guy in a sack, and a baby that emits green light.
God yeah, I remember this show. It was awesome.

I also remember the Queen's Nose and the Demon Headmaster.

I used to think the girl who played Melody in the Queen's Nose was hot. Probably one of my first crushes.

There also used to be a show called something like 'Maid Marion and Her Merry Men' - a spoof on Robin Hood. Used to love the grot of that show too.

Thank you! I've spent years wondering just what that wacky educational fantasy series I watched in school once was. Remember really enjoying it at the time (probably as I hadn't even read the Narnia books at that point, so any fantasy was eagerly devoured). Through the Dragon's Eye looks pretty crummy now, but at least I have a name to pin to it for nostalgia's sake.

Demon Headmaster was terrific, and Bernard's Watch certainly had its moments.

Rosie and Jim anyone? Loved that when I was younger, admittedly just for the "floating down the canal" scenes on the barge. Although the theme tune grated even then.

I was quite into The Tracy Beaker show for the first series, was I the only bloke to do so? I always felt a little insecure about it, but it was a worthwhile show for me at the time.

I remember the first three. I remember being terrified of being turned into a puddle after watching Through the Dragon's Eye. Demon Headmaster just scared me outright and I never liked the Queen's Nose. I was a very scared child.

What? thats not wierd...
I stopped after a year after trying it with around 60. I was trying it with every 50p coin I got, and I got several considering my pocket money was £2.50 a week. Also enough to buy a single Pokemon booster pack :)

I never liked that because the buildings looked too abstract and for some reason I find that really disturbing...

The Queens Nose definitely, watched them all as far as I can remember.
The Demon Headmaster I didn't enjoy as much but still liked.
As another poster said, Brum was great; but, again, I have no idea why.

My favourite show though? I think it was called Aquila. Maybe? [sub]Damnit, wiki'ing it.[/sub]

Yes! I was right, Aquila; great TV as a kid.

Edit: Round The Twist was pretty cool too.

Edit Two: Mother ninja shitbag fuckers, Aquila was mine! [sub]sob[/sub]

[sub]Also, just watched South Park The movie, may have influenced my language a bit.[/sub]
