Hey, I'm kind of new to the site, so if this has been done before I apologize, but what I wanted to ask all of you was this: If you had to pick one videogame to play for the rest of your life, and only that videogame, which one would it be? You can play any form of expansion pack, DLC, online multi-player, mod, etc. It can also be any form of electronic gaming as well, whether its WOW or COD, you can pick it. My own answer to this question would have to be Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Not for the campaign, but simply for the fact that it's my favorite multi-player game and all of my friends also play it.

This is done all the time, and people will complain about that, but they won't hold it against you.

For me, it'd be Morrowind, because that game is awesome.

Either Baldur's Gate II or Neverwinter Nights.

NWN because of the huge number of mods.

Baldur's Gate II, because of the great base game + the small number of high quality mods.

Mass Effect or Halo reach.

ME- Beat it 7 times, and Im still wanting more.

Reach- Fun single player, and multiplayer. As well as fire fight, and dlc. Also forge, and theater mode. Damn so much to do in the game.

Garry's Mod.
If I have a proper computer, I can download every mod, every game programmed in the mod, make machinima, and make my own games.

Command & Conquer Renegade X.

It's a fan-made mod using UT3 and it's based on the original C&C Renegade, which was a first-person shooter set in the Tiberian universe. It's a class- and objective-based shooter and the possibilities for matches is almost endless. Couple that with an outstanding modding community and I'd play it non-stop.

Renegade is the only shooter I actually enjoy playing.

EDIT: Actually, I might choose Minecraft as an alternative choice. I could have a ton of fun playing that game and never really get bored of it either.

Baldur's Gate 2. There's so much to do, the plot line's long, the characters engaging, and you can play it about a thousand or so different ways.

Some kind of dungeon crawler, diablo style. Dungeon defenders, torchlight, that sort of thing. They always maintain atleast a minor level of comfort and fun nomatter how long you play them.

Somewhat limited, but its a matter of getting the most out of a limited situation.

Starcraft II.

It's evolved much from Warcraft III's modding community, and going farther back, from Starcraft I. Since way back, Blizzard's RTS's have had strong modding support, and if I had unlimited time to make my own mods, I would do so. This time's modding program, Galaxy Editor, is especially labrynthian, and so with the extra time, I'd conquer this madness and make my own games :D
