assuming you have big hand,s you can play GBC and GBA games (assuming you have a GBA SP) I would recommend stuff like pokemon since it doesn't require that much action.

So long story short. I broke my right (dominant) arm.

Does anyone have any suggestions for games I can play with just my left hand?

Obviously strategy and dome turn based roleplaying would be high on that list.

Civ5 has been getting a workout, but looking for something more.
Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball can be played one handed
Heh... I pity the man that plays that game with two hands.
I suggest games like Fire Emblem or Advanced Wars, mostly strategy games, or you could play pronz games.
Is it the hand you do everything with? Because if you do absolutely everything with it, you're going to have some really awkward pronz until it mends... I find it so weird to try and use my other hand for 'that'

Oh, god... expect jokes. I think you know what jokes.
You need two hands for that.

Think about it.

OT: tower defense games, adventure games, puzzle games.
Your avatar fits my reaction perfectly.
I'm sorry. Someone had to make the joke.

Get a NES emulator with a built in speedhack and play FF1. The speedhack is necessary because just little animations (like a chatbox or something) take 1-2 seconds just to come up. I, personally, like to play it on my hacked PSP.

If you've got access to an N64, GoldenEye can be played adequately with one hand (though it's kind of a pain to open doors and look up/down). I remember because I used to play it at a friend's house all the time while eating popsicles.

I have a thought! If you manage to master playing God of War (which essentially uses every single button on the controller) one-handed, you're going to be an Internet sensation! If that doesn't sound all that tempting, I'd suggest the Heroes of Might and Magic games, particularly #3. Turn-based strategy games, essentially controlled entirely by mouuse.

Thank Khorne I wasn't the first to suggest this...

Heroes is what you should be playing one handed. Anything else is wrong.

Sent you a PM, might help. Hope your arm gets better soon.

I've been utterly obsessed recently with Gemcraft Labyrinth, to the point where I might pay for the premium content of a flash game!

It's a tower defense game, but so well done, and with so much content, it's huge and well made and just fun.

What? They're obviously designed for playing with one hand!
(First one to actually make the joke)
You must be very proud.

Dragon Quest 8 has controls for one hand (and the left one)

I've just had an idea. If someone made a mouse with WASD keys on the top of it...
